Hidden gem! This is the perfect location for a night on the town. The rooms are gorgeous and the pool and hot tub is a hidden hideaway. They also have coffee outside for breakfast. Great time

Nice accommodations and pool area. We had a wonderful room near the pool. The valet service is super mediocre and could have been more friendly or offered guests a water since it is literally dangerously hot. The coffees were out in morning and had a hard time getting room serviced. Over all great locations near fun activities. Pool is pretty! Keeps getting worst here on service! Just avoid this place. Basically terrible service all around. Go somewhere else!

Really nice hotel. It's clean, well-decorated, modern, and right in heart of the action in Naples. It's right next to stores, and restaurants and is a short walk to the beach. The staff were friendly and gave me a lot of good suggestions. The is clean and well-equipped. I liked the marble floors as opposed to carpet. The gym is well equipped relative to other hotels. Note that they are still recovering from Ian and you can see some signs of that.

The Inn on Fifth exceeded all our expectations. The staff are very helpful and kind giving us many restaurant and shop recommendations. I appreciate how clean this hotel and amenities are kept. We will definitely be staying here very soon.

The greatest spot to stay in Naples, without a doubt! Located on the best street in downtown and just a few blocks from the beach. The Inn on Fifth is strategically placed and, more or less, the hotspot in downtown Naples. The hotel is a modest upscale boutique with excellent service and amazing amenities. The pool and patio area are beautiful with a charming front. I stayed in the adjoining Club building, which has a separate check-in area and a lobby with complimentary breakfast, snacks, and wine/cocktails every day. The rooms/suites are spacious and equipped with everything you need. Extremely clean. Very comfy beds for a great night's sleep. The suite balcony was huge with an amazing view of 5th avenue. The staff was friendly and helpful. I would highly recommend The Inn on Fifth in Naples.

Ok let me start by saying this is probably my 5th or 6th time here. We have stayed in club level and we have stayed on the pool building side. We come back because we always felt we were treated so well no matter which side we stayed on. I booked a pool view patio suite. Although the patio is very nice and can fit a group of like 6 people the view of the pool is non-existent. False advertising. The AC was not working efficiently and only the fan was running. We called front desk and maintenance came up. He was in our room for 15-20 mins. Said only the fan was running and he reset it we needed to give it 15 minutes. 30 minutes later the air coming out of the vent was still fan only not cold at all. We called the front desk and we were moved right before our dinner reservations with friends to a room on the same floor. It was not as big and furthermore I went from a large outdoor patio to no balcony at all and a view of a rundown parking garage. I stopped at the front desk before dinner and the girl Holla said there was nothing she can do tonight for me. I asked her to write down what had occurred and to include that she could not help me a paying customer. She fought with me but finally wrote the summary. The next morning I wake up to a coffee maker of only decaf pods. As petty as that is it was just another thing that went wrong. I went back down to the front desk and thankfully Maxwell the manager was on shift and he was a breath of fresh air. Thank you Maxwell for being so understanding. He moved us to the club level. He was very empathetic to our experience thus far. Hola could learn from him. We were moved immediately with the help of a valet. Alec the director of services called me later that day and was also empathetic and understood my frustration. They did do their best to make things right. Unfortunately our AC broke in the new room. I advised a staff member that was serving breakfast on the club level and she called for help. She did tell me the AC problems have been an issue lately. It was hot in the hallways. I advised Maxwell of this upon my checkout. When you are charging a premium for a luxurious experience then the basic need of AC should be priority and the next basic need of customer service should be the next priority. Holla needs training. I don't know if I will be back. I think will follow some other reviews to see if things improve before I go back. However Maxwell and Alec rock. Thank you gentlemen.

I was in town for a conference, and was very excited to come and check out this hotel as I've heard great things about it. Upon my arrival, I went to the valet to drop my car off and ask for a dolly thing to bring the boxes in my car over to the conference exhibit hall. The valet man that greeted me was immediately rude and off putting telling me I couldn't use the dolly and that he didn't know where the conference was/exhibit hall was and I had to figure it out. He was absolutely no help and extremely rude for no reason. He eventually got the dolly and helped me find the conference (he found it immediately). The rest of the valet men were very nice and efficient. The valet line is like a chik fil a drive thru, very efficient and fast moving. The actual hotel was stunning. The bathrooms and lobby and rooms were beautiful. The pool and beach are were very nice as well. It's a beautiful hotel, that gives luxurious vibes. I had both food at the conference and food from room service/the lobby bar. The conference food was not that great. Some of it was good, while some of it was stale and had mold in it. That's unbelievable for a ritz Carlton. And like I mentioned previously, we had ordered some food from the lobby bar and told them about the tree nut allergy and a shrimp allergy for someone else. When they brought the food they told me to avoid one of the meals due to possible cross contamination, which I did. I took one bite of all the 3 other dishes brought and immediately had a reaction and had to run to the souvenir shop and buy Benadryl. This is extremely dangerous. Thank god I didn't have an anaphylactic reaction and need to call 911.

And if you don't have status, you can pay for à la carte breakfast too or the buffet how you like. We also enjoyed Tesoro and Quinn restaurants as well. Our room was on the 9th floor and while it was very nice, it could definitely use some updating. Our week long vacation at the Pink Shell was an overwhelming success. It has been quite some time…read moresince I have stayed somewhere that truly values customer service and experience - Pink Shell exemplifies both. Every single employee we encountered acknowledged us, went out of their way to smile, and for those providing us service were kind, friendly and attentive (minus one - hostess at Rae's needs some guidance). I honestly was blown away by it - so refreshing in a world where this is no longer common. We did a kayaking tour with Ranger Rob and he is EXCELLENT! We saw dolphins and manatees in addition to a bunch of shore birds. It was tough paddling back against the current and across the channel but all in all it was a wonderful experience. Overall Pros: - Rooms all have an ocean view. We stayed in the Captiva building and had a huge screened in patio with two lounge chairs and a dining table with four chairs. - Rooms were spacious with a nicely appointed kitchenette, full fridge, living room and bedroom televisions, and large bathroom. - Rooms and resort were very clean, well maintained, and comfortable. - Pools and beach were very clean and spacious (there are three pools, one specific for adults 17+). - Daily breakfast was delicious! Omelette and eggs made to order, and an abundance of offerings in the hot stations (potatoes, eggs, bacon, sausage, pancakes, oatmeal, and fun waffles that my kids loved), as well as toast and pastries, cereal, fresh fruit, yogurt and more. - They give you a bag when you check in that was excellent to have for bringing things down to the pool / beach such as sunscreen, water, etc... - They also gave the kids a shell bag each and sunglasses. - We arrived on Valentine's Day and they handed me a beautiful pink rose that I put in a glass air water and it opened so beautifully and lasted the whole week in our room. - Bongos was good and convenient for lunch. Rae's food was delicious - so having two restaurants was a great perk. - Walk to downtown was about 0.75 miles and a nice way to walk off dinner. We used the free tram a few times too. Just a couple cons: - People save pool chairs regardless of the large signs that say not to. The signs also say that staff will remove towels that "don't have activity" but I never once saw that done. It was frustrating to come down to no chairs available for all three of us together or in any area near the pool / sun. You can reserve chairs at $50/pair online but that seemed like not a great use of money even with the frustration. I wish the resort would hold true to not allowing saved spots. - Breakfast can be loud. Not sure there is much to be done about it but the beeping of the omelet station didn't help with the already crowded room. - Coffee was just not great. I tried - the only way it was so so was to get it iced and add some chocolate milk. It seemed watery and just not a great taste. - The service at the pool was spotty - some days it seemed like there was a regular waitstaff walking around and others it was hard to find someone. The resort could make a lot more money in drinks and food by staffing the pools better. - The dryer in the shared laundry in Captiva (floor 7) was the worst dryer I've ever used. It took from 5pm to beyond 1am to wash and dry three loads of laundry. We hated to leave and look forward to going back.
