The Bayfront Inn is not the greatest. First off they charge 20.00 to park a car which in my opinion should be included in the price charged per room. Elevators are super slow! Ice machine on our floor was broken and had been for awhile. The room didn't have a desk where someone could sit to do makeup etc. Hairdryer was so old and the handle was disgusting to touch. Do BETTER!!! For 400.00 a night it isn't worth it. The room also smelled stale and musty. View was good as well as location. Lightswitch didn't work to turn on room lights when you walk in Outside in the back by the restaurant it seemed dirty and all the planters had dead plants in them and they also seemed short staffed. There was live music but it was so loud it was impossible to try and have a conversation. Terrible! Would not recommend. This place is trending to be a Motel 6 in a year and at $79 a night they'll be gouging people at that price. read more

Hubby and I have been here a few times, and each time was less enjoyable. The rooms are fine. We like the proximity to Tin City. The hotel elevators do not function properly, and the staff advised it would be too expensive to fix. It too a long while to be greeted by a server, and when we were greeted, we were simply asked, "What can I get you?" No hello, no my name is, no welcome, no sorry for the wait, nothing. We did enjoy the food, which arrived in decent time. The pool was in need of a skimming with lots of bugs on top and the jacuzzi looked dingy. I think we will try to find another hotel nearby next time we are in Naples. read more

The Bayfront of Naples is located across the road from Tin City. It is on on the waterway. The Bayfront is home community and Inn with several restaurants and a outdoor Bar along the water. It is a nice place to have breakfast or brunch. Parking is limited and the planes from airport can be a bit distracting and loud. read more

The word "luxury" is used multiple times on the website. Don't be fooled. There is no luxury here. As soon as you enter the lobby you realize its not luxurious. Once you take the ekevstor to your floor its confirmed again. The halls smell old and musty. The room looks like your grandmother's house. The furniture is beyond outdated. The view from the room is nice. The heating and air unit is extremely loud and if you are watching TV you have to adjust the volume constantly. We made coffee in the morning to go. The lids are for some other size cup. The faucet in the shower is close to falling off, making selecting the temp difficult. As we were leaving there was a cockroach cracking by the room number on the side of the doorframe. I guess he wanted to say goodbye. Ps- I know bugs are common in FL but found this laughable considering everything else. I get that Naples is upscale and expensive.....I believe the truly luxurious hotels were $700 and up. So if you want a more economical room.....this is your option for $350. In any other city this room and hotel would at best be $150. I would try anything else but this next time. read more

Would've loved to give this more than 1 star but unfortunately it only deserves a 1 star. Wanted to get away for a weekday trip with my love, took time off, isn't too far from where we live so technically a "staycation". We were able to get this deal on Hotels.com and after staying for less than what we booked to stay for it isn't even worth half. Front staff doesn't seem to know what's going on. I asked if they had menus for around the area we can order from, I was told to ask the night time staff. I asked for plastic utensils, they told me I needed to go down to the restaurant to get them. The room was dirty and disgusting. There was pee in the toilet when we arrived, the sink was gross and dirty. There was sheet behind the sofa bed, dirty sheet mind you. We had spiders and bugs in our room, on the sheets, on the ground. Restaurant seemed fine, and the walking to tin city wasn't bad at all... that is the extent of our positive comments. We decided to check out early because of how disgusting the room was, the construction on the other side of the road kept us from even remotely sleeping in past 7am and to top it off when I went to check out early the employee at the front didn't seem to pay any mind or care one bit. I expressed that it was disgusting, dirty sheets hiding away, blood on pillowcases. Nothing - what room are you checking out of? Really?? You'd think you'd care a bit more on why someone would be leaving earlier than their stay was. We won't be back. We decided to take a few days to go to Naples.. This hotel is in a great location on the bay side of the city right on the main street. It was perfectcfor just the two of us; but I really wouldn't recommend it for a whole family. It was a trade through RCI but, in my opinion, not a timeshare resort. It is more of a hotel. As I said, the location is great. We walked to Tin City and enjoyed the shops and restaurants there. We also walked to the Bayfront shops; but were disappointed that most all of them were closed on a Monday evening. Only a bar in a gazebo was open. There are also sightseeing boats and boat rentals within walking distance. We took advantage of that and had fun. When in Naples be sure to go tovthe Beach side and enjoy a sunset. Our little getaway was just perfect and met our goal of relaxing prior to my husband's surgery this week. read more

The location is perfect. I like that it is a small hotel with a very nice restaurant. My only concern is a major one: security. I walked in and out with no sign of any security. Last night, my husband and I went to a tavern on 5th and walked back at 11pm. We cut through the restaurant which had a few people at the bar but there were zero employees around. We walked into the lobby and no one was at the desk. If travelling alone, I would be very uneasy with how easily anyone can gain access to the rooms. A simple fix would be a card swipe at all doors and the elevators. read more

I've stayed here quite a few times because of the bay view. It's a beautiful sight anytime of day. This place has had some management issues and staff turnover. Unfortunately, the young gentleman at the front desk don't know if they are coming or going. You ask one a question, get an answer, ask the other one and you get a different answer. Requested something simple for my room which everyone has and was told we will get, but that never happened. The room itself was fairly clean, however, the bathroom was an issue. The ceiling over the shower was completely peeling and tiles were full of mold. Yikes! Never felt clean after a shower. Recommendation to the hotel: get yourself a new marketing team. There are so many things that you can improve on that will take a few dollars and a little time that will make this hotel one of the best places to be. The good: Priced good, well located, gorgeous bay front view. Free parking. Walkable to restaurants. Has boat and kayaks rentals. The ugly: Bathroom has a small toilet, I can't really fit on it, and I'm not really a big guy. The toiletries are sub par- no conditioner. The hair dryer is gross, looks like it's been used for 20 years, perhaps my little sisters hair dyer from the 80's. There is dust and dirt caked in it. The remote for tv obviously has not been cleaned in prob a year, which makes me wonder about society today and how many people don't care about their cleanliness. I scrubbed it down with soap and water. The tv is 10-15 years old perhaps. We wanted to plug in a roku to watxh Netflix, but no usb. What year are we in ? Zéro Stars! Absolutely disgusting as was the service. There was brown stuff on the exterior of the toilet. Toothpaste in the sink, something smudgy on the sink. Hair all over the floor. We left to go to dinner. I politely told the front desk girl that we wouldn't stay the rest of the trip, just that night. That we were going out for dinner. She thanked me and apologized. I said, I appreciate it. We came back from dinner, road up the elevator, went to our room absolutely nothing was cleaned. I asked for a refund, she said, have a good night. They have Sweetwater creek, my favorite beer, so it was good to be able to enjoy the sandwich with a great cold beer. The fries were crispy, well done and nicely seasoned. My fiancé and I ventured to Naples for a New Year's Eve staycation and stayed at Bayfront Inn. It wasn't too expensive, in great proximity to downtown, and had that nice boutique feel to it. When you book, you have the option to pay extra for a bay view, which we did not do. Instead, we got a look towards downtown/the beach which actually provided a nice view of sunset from our fourth floor window. The room wasn't huge, but did have a nice comfy bed, couch, desk, and TV. The bathroom was nice with a large shower as well, with the only downfall being the lack of a mini fridge to store food and drink in. We took advantage of lots of amenities! They have a small pool and jacuzzi, restaurant/bar area that serves free breakfast, simple fitness center, and their own rental center for paddle boards, kayaks, boats, etc. The breakfast was very basic with yogurts, cereal, fruit, and some pastries, but you could pay a little extra for eggs and other warm foods. When we wanted to go to the beach, we took their shuttle and were also given complimentary towels, chairs and an umbrella to bring with us! We let them know when they dropped us off what time we wanted to be picked up and they arrived right on time. All in all, this isn't going to be the most luxurious spot you've ever stayed, but I would definitely recommend it if you're looking for an easygoing hotel in Naples that's close to downtown/the beach, but a little on the outskirts. read more

This property is located in a great spot overlooking the bay and right across Tin alley. They have a nice restaurant and outdoor patio with a view. However the place is in much need of a renovation. Room and hallways smell musty, furniture old, real old, AC marginal, elevators need major overhaul. If you have allergies or a sensitive nose, forget it. Waiting at The Bamboo Grille @ Bayfront Inn. Arrived at 11 for Sunday Brunch. They said it was over and we would have to wait 20 minutes until we could order from the other menu. Who closes Sunday brunch at 11am? But we were OK with waiting. Ha. Waited. Waited. And then we waited a little more. It was not busy, there were many empty tables and still we waited. We were willing to wait and thought they would serve us cocktails or at least acknowledge us after we were seated. Nope. Our waitress acted like we were an inconvenience. When she finally got our drinks and left us. She never came back to ask if we needed more water or another drink or if we wanted to order. We had to go to the bar to be served a second cocktail. She was not busy. She was socializing. Never cleared the dirty glasses or mentioned she was sorry that 45 minutes after ordering we were still WAITING..... The food took an hour and was good once it arrived but not really worth the wait. We had asked the bartender to put our football game on while we WAITED, he said sure and that eased the wait until a couple of girls asked him to change it....not cool. Not cool at all. The number of empty seats on a game day, in season with a killer location was no surprise. Have a class in class for your waitstaff and maybe we'll try again. Until then waiting at the Bamboo at the Inn won't be on our list of reccomdations. Bayfront and Naples in general have many places to choose from with views and great service. The hotel itself and accommodations should receive 5 stars. The location and quality of this boutique establishment is definitely over par. However, the manager, slash self appointed "event planner" was highly disappointing as she did not provide the correct information when asked multiple times. The experience was highly lackadaisical when we expressed need for detail. Commonly, we would receive highly stressed last minute demands as if we were already advised on the specifics, and when we brought this to the attention of management, she would return in an unprofessional, argumentative tone. The room reservations were a nightmare as they were mixed up multiple times and with multiple errors. We also asked that they correct the spelling of our last name of our reservation, and most importantly for the reception that we reserved. They still didn't' get it correct because we were welcomed by signage with the an additional incorrect spelling awaiting us for our wedding reception. Thank God my groom and in laws got a chuckle. The hotel and amenities are worth the competitive dollar in the area of South Naples. However, please be advised to keep your wits when making a decision to plan an event at this location. Front Desk is amazingly incompetent. They took delivery of my package confirming I was a guest here when my package was delivered. They could not be bothered to write in the correct room number and then proceeded to find and lose the package twice. I never got the package. On the one hand, it's difficult to give a hotel a really good review when you didn't sleep well. After all, the hotel is a place to sleep and that should be the primary basis for deciding if it was worth it or not. However, the hotel also has a lot of things going for it, so I think it deserves a stronger review. If it helps, consider this a 3.5 star review that I rounded up. Lets start with the bad - sleep. Had a lot of trouble sleeping. And I wasn't uncomfortable, there wasn't too much noise outside (even though we were right above the bar) and the A/C drowned out what noise there was. But for some reason, both my girlfriend and I had trouble sleeping here. That's a problem for a hotel, and hard to get past. We didn't eat or drink here, which makes this review even stranger. If I didn't eat or drink here, and didn't sleep well, then how am I giving it 4 stars. Well, impressions are important, location is important, and staff is important. Beginning with the latter, the staff was wonderful - very accommodating, including giving us an extra hour to check out, even though their checkout time was already an hour later than most hotels. Everyone was extremely pleasant to talk to. Location has already been mentioned, but I'll mention it again. It's on the water - not beach side, but on the river or inlet or something. Multiple good restaurants right outside and outdoor bars right on the water. Very high end area - but this is Naples, so that describes a lot. Downtown Naples, with its plethora of fancy restaurants and expensive shops, is 1/2 mile away or less - easy walking distance. We didn't go to the beach from our hotel - did that after we checked out and went to the art district - so I don't know how convenient it is to the beach. But the location is superb. Prime spot. As I said, impressions are important, too, and this place is very cute. Rooms are well put together. Outside looks like a high end fancy boutique hotel, and the area, as mentioned, is also very high end. So, lack of good sleep aside, I liked it here and would probably give it another chance. Given how expensive hotels are in nearby marco island, it is probably hard to find such a nice place at these prices. In any event, maybe the lack of sleep was due to what we ate - we both ate the same thing that night, though I should be shot for even suggesting there was something stomach-upsetting about that wonderfulness. read more

My son and I treated ourselves to a bayfront room at this hotel in downtown Naples when we visited our family for Christmas this year. It cost twice as much as other hotels we looked at but we thought it would be worth it. It was not. Our room was only cleaned once during our stay and that was because I took a bag full of garbage down to the front desk. It was cleaned that day and then not again. The hotel also promises high speed internet but it was not available much of the time. Our stay there was very disappointing. We dreaded coming back each night. I would not recommend this hotel to anyone until the management improves the service. read more

When I saw the price, and then pictures of this place, and then its location, I quickly grabbed my credit card and rang this one up. For those of you more interested in boat charters, this is the ideal location. If you are less inclined to sail the seas and more inclined to shop and eat in style on Fifth Avenue, you're still in walking distance. The beach is in walking distance, too, but you may be better off hitching a ride. The room, itself, has that unbelievable five-star comfortable feeling (pillows and mattress). I had a couple of beers out by the bar (or cove?), which provides a pleasant view of the bay. I ate out there, too. Good food, but not great. Yeah, I'll be back. I like this place. read more

My husband and I have been coming to Naples and staying at this Hotel a few times a year for the last 3 years and we love the location and it was great until this trip. They have new ownership and have started to increase all the prices. Wouldn't be so bad if they just increased a little at a time but the dockage fee doubled and this morning my husband went to the lobby to get what was a free coffee yesterday and is now $2.50/cup! We aren't cheap and we can afford the coffee... however it shouldn't be done this way! If they need to make more money then raise the room rates a bit... don't nickel and dime the guests to death. Stayed here for one night on business. The area of the hotel has some cute restaurants and bars close by. The view from the back deck is beautiful. Staff was friendly upon check in, and the hotel appeared clean. I was assigned a room on the first floor, which I would not recommend. Although the room was fine in terms of space, and the bed was soft and comfortable, it was so noisy that I don't think I slept. Between the noise from intoxicated guests outside, to the bathroom noises next door, it was difficult to relax. To top it off, it sounded like there was an altercation between an intoxicated patron and the night staff. I remember hearing both parties scream about getting the police. Needless to say I wasn't feeling very safe. There are a lot of options in the area for lodging so I'll be booking elsewhere next time. read more

This entire place is dirty and outdated. For such a lovely centralized location you would think they would take more pride in their establishment. Terrible customer service.
