This is one of my favorite Hotels in Naples. Hotel is conveniently located near 5th Avenue (which is the main street of downtown Naples), the beach, and Tin City. Hotel offers shuttle services as well but we usually have a rental car so we have used this service very little. Beautiful Hotel with a coastal feel and warm and friendly staff. Always accommodating and love the welcome sparkling wine when you arrive. Makes you feel like you have truly arrived. This is a beautiful boutique Hotel which also adds to its charm. Love that they offer snacks in the afternoon along with a contential type of breakfast. Room's are well appointed only sad that they no longer have Nest toiletries. When they had those they smelled like the beach which also made you feel like you were at a coastal getaway. While the Beach is down the road the water is close by. Hotel has both traditional rooms as well as several villas. Love each time we come and highly recommend this Hotel. Always a good time. read more

Me and my mother were visiting my brother and we chose The Capri Inn because it seemed charming and was well priced. The people working here were helpful and accommodating. We had a hotel driver take us to a restaurant and when it was closed he took us to another place. When we were unable to renew our room because a wedding had the main hotel booked, the concierge gave us a reduced price on the cabin, which was gorgeous. The building is clean and well maintained. We were lucky to come on Tuesday evening and there was a pianist playing in the lobby, which was lovely. Overall, a charming and well maintained hotel with great service within walking distance of 5th Ave. P.S- they have free cookies in the lobby. read more

Really cute hotel in the heart of Naples. Everything is in walking distance. It was clean and well decorated, I loved the pretty light blue lobby. The staff was cool, we were welcomed with free champagne at check in. My only complaint is the beds- they were stiff and uncomfortable, like cardboard. I barely slept all weekend. read more

Spent an evening in Naples and stayed at The Capri Inn which is part of the Opal Collection of hotels. It's a lovely, intimate hotel located in a quiet neighborhood. The rooms are large and well appointed. Best of all, the shops on 5th Ave S and Tin City are all within walking distance. Cute little boutique hotel only few blocks away from restaurants and shops. They have cookies in the lobby for the lil ones or lil ones at heart . The only downside was the elevator coming down from 3rd floor felt like a death trap! It would rattle so hard thought it was going to drop . Maybe a little maintenance would fix it. Terrible experience. Went there after church on Sunday to check out hotel for future guest and have breakfast. We valet car went inside. Everything looked nice. We asked for a table for two for breakfast and immediately was asked if we were staying at the hotel.. We said we were not staying at the hotel. We were just checking out and we were told they couldn't serve us. Not sure why??? But I will tell you I go to the Ritz all the time for breakfast and lunch and dinner never been treated like that. Pretty sure I'm not coming back even the valet guys out front couldn't believe when I told him what they told me inside. Good luck. read more

This is decent little place to stay close to everything you need. Food, shopping, beaches. We liked the pool, hot tub and bar area outside. The staff is friendly and always ready to greet you coming and going. Great shower pressure and hot water. The only complaints I have is that the bed was hard as a rock. I didn't sleep well at all. I recommend they order a few toppers they can put on the mattress for people who prefer a softer mattress. It's a simple fix without buying a new mattress. My other comment is that they should offer free coffee in the mornings for guest. $3 for morning coffee seems like a lot for paying guest. The internet was slow. I ended up turning it off because it didn't work. The hot tub was broken for our entire stay so that was a huge bummer. read more

As soon as we walked through the double doors of The Capri Inn, we were treated with the best service. The staff was attentive and friendly. Jessica the assistant manager greeted us and ensured we felt welcomed. She went above and beyond expectations. She ensured that we had a room with a beautiful view and it accommodated my 1 year old. She provided us with champagne upon arrival, and bottles of water. She checked up on us daily- gave us chairs and umbrella to hit up the beach. The beach was refreshing and very clean. Jose was wonderful as well. He helped load off our luggage into our room, and checked how we were doing daily. The hotel is close to 5th street- walking distance. The rooms were well clean, beds were comfy not too hard, pillows were comfortable. The small kitchenette with microwave & fridge was a big win especially with kids. The bathroom had both a shower and bathtub which was convenient. Room air was comfortable. We enjoyed the refreshments in the lobby. We will definitely be coming back. read more

With absolutely no plans and no hotel reservation, my fiancé and I decided on a last minute get away on the west coast of Florida. A quick search of various travel websites and we discovered the Trianon. On paper (well, actually, on a cell phone screen) the exterior hotel reminded us hour of our own home... classic Florida architecture with lush landscaping. The rooms look nice and the various amenities such as heated pool, coffee available in the lobby throughout the day and free wifi, and we were sold... room booked just 3 hours before arrival. * * * OUR ARRIVAL * * * We exited the highway and headed toward the Old Naples Trianon Hotel. Without knowing the area it was clear that our hotel was not on the main drag with most of the other hotels; instead, the Trianon was located adjacent to more residential homes than retail and/or commercial businesses. The immediate area was absolutely beautiful and our hotel was equally as nice (great architecture, brick paver entrance and stairs, tons of common Florida flora like philodendron, xanadu, croton and robellini). We stepped into the hotel lobby and it felt nothing like typical hotels. Regardless of hotel's size, it felt more like a Bed & Breakfast in the sense that we felt more like walking into someone's living room (large chandelier, sitting area in front of a large fireplace, good use of moldings, areas rugs and inviting area). Wish I could say everything about our arrival was perfect but it wasn't... aesthetically everything felt clean and wonderful but the lady behind the check in counter was dry and unwelcoming (but let's not get hung up on one person). We took her keys and headed to our room. * * * OUR ROOM * * * The hallways leading to our room were nicely decorated (paintings hung, patterned carpeting, curio cabinets and more moldings all creating a better feel than a typical cookie cutter hotel chain. Our room was clean and was simple but not bad by any means; Plus the bed was phenomenal. We had a coffee machine in the room which was good because turns out the coffee in the lobby is not free. We took a quick walk down to the pool and it was equally as nice as the front area of the hotel with the exception of the handicap crane but that's not the hotel's fault (aesthetically the crane is ugly but Florida building code and ADA requirements have their place for good reason). * * * OUR NIGHT * * * Turns out our hotel is ideally located within walking distance of Fifth Avenue, so grabbing a quick bite and a nice evening stroll was an easy task. And walking to the beach did not require a car either... it's a bit further of a hike but it includes lovely homes to see. Granted, we did not venture over to Third Street which has many restaurants and other window shopping, but it is about the same distance as the beach walk (plus/minus 1 mile). * * * OUR RETURN * * * Upon my next and future visits, the Old Naples Trianon Hotel will be my destination of choice (just hopefully the desk clerk will be a bit friendlier next visit). read more

I didn't think the stay was gonna be good, because at check in, the staff was not friendly. But after I gave that report on my Expedia review when asked how check in was, someone reviewed it, and the staff that was rude, were loving us after that! I don't like to leave bad reviews. The hotel is very nice. Has great amenities, pool, pool towels. Jessica informed me that there were beach chairs and umbrellas available at a first come first serve. So I was able to grab them. She was a doll. Full of info, and extremely pleasant. The hotel is very close to all the shops and dining. All with in walking distance which was great. In the am you can get some quick things to eat, and really good coffee. So our stay ended up being much better then it was looking the first day. Room was very clean, comfortable in temperature and well stocked with needed essentials! The only thing is the WiFi is not good. Wouldn't work at all. Needed to keep our WiFi off. read more

Property has lots of potential.... Clean, well maintained, high ceilings, large bathrooms, small TVs, non central AC. Where it lacks in severely is friendly attentive and professional customer service - especially at the front desk. What a sour way to start our stay....and it lingered with us. Trianon Old Naples Hotel did not provide daily housekeeping service, which was advertised and paid for. The front desk attendant notified me that the daily housekeeping service would not be provided for my stay after I had checked in and provided her with my credit card and she had charged it. I told her I did not want to stay at the hotel, if not housekeeping service would be provided, and she told me she would charge me for one night. I found this practice very unfair. Front desk attendant at check in was rude. Internet is poor quality. read more

Was looking for a small quaint hotel for a weekend getaway with the husband. After much research decided to reserve here. From the moment I made the reservation to checking out... perfect. The hotel is immaculate. It's not a modern chic hotel but that's not what I wanted so it's perfect. Very old style Naples feel. Extremely clean and staff is extremely friendly. I forgot to pack toothpaste and they even had some downstairs, for a fee but still! Not complaining, saved me! Rooms are spacious and I got the standard room with a sit out balcony. Safe in the room, desk area if you need to work, and iron and ironing board. Stand up and tub in the bathroom. Close to everything we wanted to go to and they have a little Ily coffee bar so in the morning and afternoon I got my latte and cappuccino. Winning! Plenty of parking and great pool area. You walked in the door with a smug and snarky attitude from the reception girl. You walk in you feel like you've done something wrong. Hotel desperately needs updating. Rooms are Clean just ok.. The worst costumer service ever!! Even 1 star is too much for this place. The person at the front desk has the wort attitude against customers. I tried to pass by and see if it could be possible to check in a little earlier, the person at the front desk who is calling herself a "manager" only looked at me from head to toe and yelled at me saying it's only until 4 pm and when I asked for the rude attitude, she screamed at me "don't you hear me? It's at 4pm" the walked out, took pictures of my car and called the police without even allowing me to say anything and locked herself in a room like I was doing something wrong. Then I tried to call to know what happened and she took the phone and hung up on me over 10 times. What a horrible person trying to throw out their garbage to costumers. I think this place will be loosing their business pretty soon due to an uneducated worker. read more

If I could give this hotel a negative score, I would. tried hard to look past the dated decor and fixtures. I thought I could embrace the antiques. Unfortunately, the only thing going for this hotel was that it was in walking distance from 5th Ave. The ants in the bathroom, very loud "Black Friday special" Home Depot refrigerator, and incredibly stiff bed made this the most uncomfortable Naples hotel we've ever stayed at. There's no place to even plug in your phone to charge. After a 5-hour visit to the beach and hotel pool, we returned to our room being cleaned at 2:30 p.m. We politely asked housekeeping to cut short and just give us towels so we could shower. Oddly, she ignored our requests and just continued while we waited another 20 minutes for her to finish. She understood English. We wanted to air our concerns with management, who we were told doesn't have a business card because she is "going green." And she is on vacation for two weeks. We've called every day for a week to air our concerns with a manager but our calls keep getting dodged. Between the poor service, bad customer service, and overall incredibly uncomfortable stay, I highly suggest you save your money, or go to the Hilton or Hyatt House - both of which are 10x better. read more

Late post: Came here for a one night stay in December. This is in the heart of the downtown area near 5th street. It's an older hotel, but very cute and cozy. The Hotel staff were very friendly. They let me check in early, which I'm so thankful for! They also gave me good restaurant recommendations. I enjoyed my stay here and would highly recommend this place. read more

I stayed at the Trianon from 2/8 to 2/11. I received multiple bed bug bites which by the evening of the 11th had become fully inflamed. This diagnosis has been confirmed by my physician. The Trianon Old Naples is the only place I stayed. I reported the issue to the hotel. With out any checking they denied any bed bugs. They promised to have the manager call. The manager did not. They have provided no proof of inspection. The Collier County Health department has been contacted. This has been an incredibly poor experience with the Trianon. read more

My wife and I stayed here for 4 days in March 2021. Great location near so many great restaurants (Cafe restaurant is a short walk for breakfast that I highly recommend) and shopping. Room was fine. Nice walk in shower. Staff was fine. Spacious room. Nice pool but near street so you get traffic noise. It's very close to a trolly/Segway tour place that was a lot of fun. As others have said they don't have a restaurant but there are some grab and go items. Did I mention the great location? I would stay there again. read more

A small boutique hotel with all the modern conveniences, we would recommend this hotel for the quality of its staff and location. If there is a negative, it would be the parking. The take-a-way here: Be extremely careful when booking @ Trianon - spend the 10%-15% extra and stay Hyatt House (beyond happy with our stay @ HH). My Trianon experience - Similar to most of the negative reviews about Trianon on Yelp, I have never dealt with a more incompetent, rude, and unprofessional staff in my entire life. Specifically speaking about the lady at the reception desk. I booked for 2 nights at a rate of $98, plus tax. The total charge for my stay was supposed to be $219, ALL IN - email confirmation as evidence. However, upon my arrival, the staff charged my credit card $260. I refused to sign the contract (as any competent human being would) and it was all downhill from there. The lady could not understand why I wouldn't sign a CONTRACT for a rate that I never agreed to. To be clear, I had already spoken to the manager, Peter, several days prior and confirmed my rate (via email as well) for the $219 all in. But no, she was too incompetent, and on a power trip, to figure out why I wouldn't sign. To make matters worse, the she was by far the nastiest hotel employee I have ever dealt with - she not only refused to honor the agreed upon rate, but proceeded to kicked my family and I out of the hotel (she even tried to charge me a cancellation fee!!). The MOST BIZARRE situation that my family and I have ever been in. As we were leaving, she told my wife that she didn't mind kicking us out because they were fully booked anyway. Can't make this stuff up. One positive note: Peter, the manager, was nice enough to contact me the next morning and apologize for the ridiculous encounter with his staff. Hotel is really pretty and very clean. Predominately adults which we loved and quiet and peaceful. Room had Mini Keurig Machine, double refrigerator, tub and walk in shower with super Comfortable bed and additional couch for seating. No amenities beyond small pool and no room service but one block and a half from town that is gorgeous with plenty of places to eat or have coffee. Cigar lovers there is a nice cigar store but no drinks served so take 12 minute ride to Burn by Rocky Patel. While we loved hotel They tell you about continental breakfast where they charge for everything including Coffee. I thought it very tacky to charge for mornings Coffee at a hotel ! While 2 gentlemen and Kym were nice we were floored by the awkwardness and unwelcoming behavior of one of The young women working the desk. read more

Lovely little lobby. Fast check in. First thing we noticed when opening our room was how good it smelled. When was the last time you could say that about a hotel room? I want my house to smell like this!!! The room is nice and very clean. Spacious with table and chairs, reading chair, big fridge, coffee maker, ice machine on 1st & 3rd floor on the pool side. Super comfy beds with plenty of pillows and just the right amount of covers. Bath and separate shower... Nice Breakfast is not complimentary though, but it should be. Free parking & wifi. read more

Went to this hotel on a business trip, paid by my employer. The clerks have been told many times to charge the room on the credit card that was used to book the room and not on the credit card that I used at check-in. They finally charged the wrong credit card and refuse to reverse it. Unacceptable. Will spend unnecessary time disputing the transaction. read more

On paper the Trianon looks great but it's really not worth the price. The room I stayed in was old and not very used friendly at all. The person working the desk for the early shift was great very nice. The afternoon/night employee not so much. It's a very quaint, old fashioned locally owned hotel, close to downtown, and not exactly close to the beach. It's sorta hard to find, as the hotel is hidden behind trees and such. From the Tamiami, turn onto 9th Street and go 2 blocks, and it'll be to your left. Checking in was easy enough, and we had a nicely located room on the end of the hallway on the 1st floor in the corner. Room was pretty nice. It had 4 walls and a roof and a floor, without issues. One complaint I have is that the air conditioner was loud...really, REALLY loud. That's why I'm at 4 stars here instead of 5. Free wifi. Free parking. No resort fees!! It's 7 blocks to the beach, so not exactly super close, but it's easy enough to drive over there. Downtown is an easy 5 minute walk, though. Very nice place, with good rates and friendly staff. Front desk personnel were rude. They provide zero services unless you stay more than 3 nights. We stayed 3 nights and when I asked the front desk to change our sheets and give fresh towels after 2 nights they refused. We made our reservation several months earlier but they did not give this information to us. We arrived after a long drive and asked for some water. We were charged $3 for a small bottle of water! Would not recommend this hotel (which was not cheap) Nor would we stay again! It was our 35 wedding anniversary but there was nothing special about this place! read more

Nice hotel located in Old Naples couple of blocks from fifth ave. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful, parking was easy, free WiFi , coffee machine, empty fridge and a nice balcony. We walked everywhere from this hotel and nothing in old naples is further away than a $5 Uber ride back. read more
