We are so glad we hired Kevin Klein of Crawlspace Professionals to install an egress window for our finished basement. Other companies quoted us a much higher price and proposed a method that would have destroyed our walls. Kevin came up with a solution that avoided any damage to our wall and carpeting despite having to cut a big opening in our concrete foundation. He worked carefully, took the time needed to finish the work and left the outside and inside spotless. He even salvaged a grass from our landscaping and planted it back when he was finished. Kevin installed 2 window wells in my basement. He said he toes the drains into the drain tile and then filled the wells with washed rocks. He broke a hole in one tile and set the pipe on top for one and then just stubbed a pipe 3' underground not going anywhere. Backfilling both window wells with clay and dirt and only filling the last foot or so with rock. Never had water in my basement prior to this company working. Then I regularly had extreme floor from the window wells after the work. Buyer beware. read more

There was moisture in my finished basement. This is NEVER a good thing. I of course was very freaked out about it. I started to look for someone to fix the crack in my basement that was causing the moisture to come it. One company wanted me to be sure my husband was home so they could talk to him... yeah, like he knows anything about fixing houses, I worked in the home construction industry for 10 years. I called Crawlspace Professionals and Kevin came out that day. His quote was reasonable and he did the whole job. Not just the cutting my finished basement apart and fixing the crack portion, but he actually put all the pieces back together. I don't think I could have had the work done cheaper if I hired a handyman to come and finish the job and what a relief to have the whole thing done at one time. The work was done well, and he even found other areas of concern and took care of them as well. I am confident that that part of my basement won't leak again. They did such a good job, I no longer fear basement leaking issues, I know these guys will fix it right up! read more

We used crawlspace professionals to replace 3 Windows in our basement. We had a lot of trouble finding a company to do this. They replaced 2 egress Windows and 1 smaller window. It was quite a project, but they did not cut corners. Kevin even came back a couple times to perfect the aestetics to our liking. The Windows have added so much light to our basement that it no longer feels like a dungeon. Kevin and his assistant did a great job. In response to Kevin, I wrote a check to get the work started. The reason I waited to make final payment is because he was supposed to give me some extra material so I could seal under the water line that they didn't seal, because they were afraid it might create a leak moving the line. He called me about 3-4 weeks later while I was on vacation stating he had sent it to me and wanted payment then. I could only do a credit card over the phone then. The quote said they accept credit cards and that was all I could do over the phone. As it turns out, he didn't send the extra material until September of that year, after I made many attempts to contact him for it. I told him I wouldn't give him $100 for him to come out and take a look at it. I told him if it isn't warranty, I didn't want him to do anything. I don't see how they removed the water matters, since it should not have been they to begin with. read more
