I was actually introduced to him by one of my own clients after we completed a siding project and I asked who had done such a great job painting their home. It's reassuring to know that when I refer someone to him, they're genuinely in good hands. Painters can be hit-or-miss in this industry, but Tadashi Painting has consistently been professional, reliable, and easy to work with.

Secondly, Kevin provided a professional presentation and seemed to be genuinely concerned about our specifications. The professionalism we received from the owner was demonstrated in the actual work and did not disappoint! The painting and power wash services that were rendered were top notch and of superior quality! We had interior and exterior painting and power washing services completed. Our Tadashi team consisted of Jerry and Miguel. They did a top notch professional job inside and out! They made our home look new! They are highly skilled, meticulous and very neat. In addition to that, Jerry and Miguel made sure that we were extremely satisfied. We will be using Tadashi Painting for all of our painting needs and we will be using other services that they provide. Another bonus is that Tadashi Painting is very reasonably priced. We are very pleased customers and you will be also.

Freddy Painting - Before and after staining exterior house.

The walls were dark and we were switching to a lighter color. It was done neatly and perfectly. Another project was our finished basement which had several patching repairs they fixed (thanks to our four kids) and made the walls and ceiling look like new. The interior of my home looks completely transformed. They work very efficently, meticulously and are painting pros. This week they came to paint our exterior. About a week before painting, they power washed it all. We have cedar siding that needed lots of caulking and prep before staining, and a ton of white trim. Again, they didn't disappoint. I had Freddy get the paint, match the color and he used all Benjamin Moore products. We have a really tall roofline that had trim that they painted. No problem for these guys. It looks crisp and better than new. Freddy's pricing is extremely reasonable and if you were to get several quotes I am pretty confident that his would come in well under the others. Updating through text and phone, he either starts the project exactly as scheduled or earlier. This may sound basic, but these guys want to work and for that reason I will always call him for our painting needs.

I thought their estimate for the work at my fourplex was fair because it was a huge job. I had them paint the exterior of the building which has four townhomes and also the decks of the fourplex. Friday even moved furniture off the decks because I wasn't given prior notice that he was coming early to give my tenants the heads up to remove their items. Freddy also repaired loose boards and replaced ones that were rotting. I was very satisfied with this company and their communication. I asked Freddy for a second quote on two more properties that I needed just trimwork repainted. However, I didn't feel their pricing was fair, compared to the other quotes I was receiving. I did end up contracting with my former painter on this job because his estimate was significantly less. Freddy was paid $2700 for the decks at my fourplex, but he wanted $4000 for trimwork on the current job. That wasn't working for me. I would try Freddy Painting again in the future to see if his quote would be fair like the first job. He did good work.

We have a ranch home, our paint job excludes door, garage door and shutters, includes only wood trim. 03/06/24 Issued check for $500.00 deposit to secure job 04/25/24 Deposit check was cashed While the weather prolonged the start of our job, Preferred Painting failed to touch base with us. My husband had to reach out and find out when we were going to be 'on the schedule'. We had finally reached a point where we were told the power washing would be done, it may be Thurs, July 25th or Friday, July 26th. That changed to Friday, possibly Sat. Friday, July 26th at nearly 6:00 PM Abraham arrived to power wash. 06/26/24 power washing of the trim was done, completed in less than an hour and a half. The siding was NOT power-washed even though we agreed to the extra charge for it to be done. We were told the crew would be at our home at 7:00 AM the next morning to start painting. 06/27/24 one guy showed up by 7:00 AM, a second guy showed up a couple hours later and Abraham a number of hours after that. Painting started, but job not finished. Before leaving, Abraham informed my husband that a second coat of paint was needed in certain areas of the trim, as more paint came off during prepping and scraping than anticipated, and there may be an additional charge. Derrick then texted and advised us of the additional charge. The amount specified seemed high. I presented some facts to Derrick, about the situation and his crew, and asked him to consider the same when adding the additional fee. I was not asking him to not charge us, I was asking him to consider all that had already happened when coming up with the amount of the additional charge. Derrick stated the amount he told us is his standard amount and since we were at an impasse, he would have his guys come back to drop off the paint and we could finish the job ourselves. My husband then talked more with Derrick, they came to an agreement on an additional cost and Derrick confirmed Preferred Painting would be completing the job they started. Derrick reached back out and shared his appreciation of the talk. Rain again caused delay. 07/30/24 we were notified that another job had to be finished over the next couple of days so the crew would be back on Friday. 08/02/24 Abraham and another guy arrived by 7:00 AM. It was clear that Derrick had spoken with his crew, as Abraham was rude and unprofessional. The guys were gone around 9:00 AM. Abraham did not confirm that additional work was to be done or that the job had been completed. Abraham did NOT do a final walk through, he did not advise me they were leaving - they simply left a can of leftover paint at the front door and disappeared. From our experience with Preferred Painting, the contract is a mere formality and not truly followed. The standard portion of the agreement requests that someone be home at the start of the job for walk through before the work begins, and at the end of the job for a walk through to confirm completion. In checking the job, we found some areas that were very poorly done. Derrick was notified of his crew simply leaving and was sent some pictures of the unacceptable work. We asked Derrick to come check the result. 08/06/24 Derrick came to walk through; we pointed out that the power washing had not been done as it should have been done (entire home). We also pointed out the areas of the trim where work was not completed. Derrick agreed to have his guys come back to finish up. Derrick also agreed to credit us a portion of the charge for the power washing as it was not completed as expected. 08/09/24 Followed up with Derrick to find out when someone was going to complete our paint job. He informed us that Abraham was working in the city and finishing Monday. Here we are again, being delayed for a different job. 08/13/24 Derrick informed us he will be sending out another one of his guys. 08/20/24 Derrick confirmed Jose will be coming to finish painting on 08/21/24. 08/21/24 Jose showed up on time, assessed all that needed to be done and completed the job. Jose was friendly and thorough, he also confirmed completion of the painting. Walk through was completed and final payment was issued. No one has control of the weather, but the fact that our job was put on hold so the crew can complete other jobs was not understood. Preferred Painting left us to believe that we were less important than their other jobs. Derrick reached out to confirm completion and apologized for the delays. While the end result is satisfactory, it was discouraging that we were not valued as a customer.

We've had issues with paint peeling off the south side of our house, and Metanoia was the only company to offer a solution (using a special primer - we'll see how it holds up!). Currently the house looks fantastic! I was assured that the crew would be careful with our landscaping and would clean up around the house when finished. I admit our landscaping is on the wild side - it is very naturalistic, with native plants rather than the specimen plants surrounded by mulch you typically see. The crews were NOT careful, and even removed protective pots I placed over certain young plants. Even after their super asked them to be careful, they were not. Plants were trampled, and a trellis that I had shown them how to move was broken. I was really disappointed and really stressed out about the whole thing. Inside, the paint was well applied. The drop cloths were not flush against the wall, so there are paint spots on the floor & some of the trim. I didn't want to deal with having the guys come in to clean - I was worried that they'd scratch up the floors & trim after seeing how well they cared for my landscaping. I decided to keep quiet and take care of it myself. Metanoia did discount the quote to reimburse me for the trellis and the plants that needed replacing, and I appreciate that. They did an excellent job on the paint itself. I'm sure they're more careful with landscaping that has obvious plantings & mulch. After this experience, I'm not sure I'll hire them again.
