New Leaf completed a thorough inspection (they were actually sent by the seller), provided a fair bid, and were gracious enough to offer a payment plan. When they came to do the work over the course of three days, they were hard working and cleaned up after themselves. One of my favorite things, though, was overhearing someone telling the group these encouraging things like "diamonds are made from pressure!" Just thought that a company that supported their people was a company everyone should support. Our HVAC contractor was also super impressed with them! Would 1000% hire again. I swear our house immediately got warmer because of the insulation!

We had a short window to get work done and needed a quote for replacing the insulation in our attic. The other companies we called were all too busy to provide quotes, or just didn't return our calls at all. Noe from All West Coast was super helpful and actually provided a quote the very same day. Just the customer service & responsiveness alone is a reason to book All West Coast! We booked the work, and were very pleased with the quality. Noe was super responsive to my emails & questions throughout the process, his crew was also very knowledgeable and helpful. Reuben was the crew lead and he was a pleasure to work with. If we need any additional insulation work, All West Coast will be our first call. Thank you Noe, Reuben & team, you guys are awesome!

His confidence of what needed to be done made me trust him over other estimators. All West Coast is also a trade ally of Energy Trust and Noe submitted my application for the insulation incentive which took an item off my to-do list. Reason I give All West Coast a 3/5 stars is because I think the communication after the quote could have been more direct. I had to ask multiple times to get an updated quote. The date/time for completing the project was not well communicated. I found out after texting Noe that he was planning to come over the next morning with his team to perform the job. Good thing my husband was home because I had to work that day. Parts of these interactions were just a bit frustrating. On the day of the project, his team arrived pretty promptly and completed the work within a couple hours. They were courteous and efficient and Noe walked through the project with my husband when they were done. We could definitely tell our upstairs was warmer as soon as the insulation was put in so we are happy with the results. I would recommend All West Coast to complete your insulation project. They offer competitive pricing and creative solutions.

The return job was completed somewhat satisfactorily. When they returned to complete the job, the owner kept making statements about me updating the review to 5 stars in exchange for coming back and completing the original job. Read the 4 star review on here, as it was the same with that person as it was with us. Just like everyone elses negative reviews the Groupon is a bait and switch. They came to our house told us everything was very dirty and that everything will need to be brushed no vacuumd so our Groupon was worthless. $450 for a half done job(see pictures of AFTER the original work was done). We requested a detailed invoice of the service and when we didn't receive it I called to find out what the delay was. The person I spoke to just kept reiterating the same thing over and over. How dirty everything was and how they cleaned it and I was to prove to him where it was still dirty. Mind you he was looking at this very same review while on the phone. The last red flag that is they only take venmo AND it goes to a private individual under the name Marlene Gomez Perez. Please do not use this company.

From the very beginning, Diana and her entire team did an impeccable job. We were so impressed with their professionalism and work ethic that we began discussing other projects, and discovered they also specialize in insulation. Given their fantastic work, we hired them for a larger insulation project in several areas, including our garage, attic, husband's shop/pole barn, and interior bathroom walls (using Rock Wool for better acoustics). Their prices were great, and their expertise truly shone when they seamlessly patched all the holes which were necessary in order to blow in the insulation. Job preparation was excellent, minimizing dust from sanding, and when the entire project was complete, they cleaned up beautifully. We couldn't be happier with the results and the outstanding service provided by R&K. Highly recommended!

Called many insulation and fireplace maintenance companies and had several people out without any solution. JB had initially informed me that this wasn't in their wheelhouse, but I called them back after getting no where. Brad Thomas was so sympathetic, he decided to come out and take a look anyway to see if he could help. Sure enough, he spotted 3 key areas where the air was getting in, showed me, and gave me instructions on how to fix it myself on the cheap. Wow! He charged me nothing for the visit. Thank you, Brad!

When JB insulation replaced the vapor barrier under our house they did a poor job and left joists uncovered and ground exposed. So now we have to remove the doubled up areas to prevent mold from growing between the layers of plastic.

I was pleased to discover Green Energy Solutions through the Energy Trust of Oregon's Clean Energy Works program in Portland, Oregon. My house is 2000sf and previously had no insulation. This lead to lots of temperature differential throughout the levels and rooms as well as drafts and extremely high heating and cooling costs. In the coldest months our heating electric bills would peak at around $400 a month! The house had no central cooling and the upper floor would at times be as warm as 90 degrees! NOT acceptable!! My project manager from Green Energy Solutions was Ernesto Melo. I appreciate how he listened and worked through some of the trickier insulation areas. Now that the install is complete, I am delighted with the consistent temperatures throughout the house. The monthly electric heating bill is now about 25% the previous amount. After all the years since 1906, my house is finally dressed appropriately to be outside! Thanks to Central Air (HVAC), Green Energy Solutions (Insulators), Clean Energy Works, Energy Trust of Oregon, and Mitsubishi. I am a very happy customer and will use this team again as well as recommend them on my future residential design work.

While Dane was wonderful in replacing our water heater's anode rod, it was quite bothersome that we…read morehad to pay $250 to have it replaced on a part covered under warranty. The water heater was installed 2 1/2 years ago by Rivival Heating and the anode rod needed to be replaced because "Portland water is so hard and full of minerals". The original quote for labor alone (not covered under warranty) was $340 but we got the manager to bring it down to $250. Still, the water heater is only 2 1/2 years old and that was an expense we did not anticipate when we bought the water heater. The prior one was not broken but when we had Rivival replace our furnace, they strongly suggested replacing the water heater at the same time. The old one never produced brown water but after just two years, the new one did. Maybe the water heater wasn't as good as the previous one? Not sure... Forgot to add, my home warranty service said they could not reimburse me because this is a "warranty issue". And to be truthful, the furnace job was great! Just wish the water heater repair didn't cost me anything. Next year, when it is out of warranty, I'll be able to file for reimbursement from my home warranty provider.
