Their crew was prompt and professional and did a great job removing and reinstalling siding on the house without trampling the garden. They just finished yesterday, and the weather has been quite mild, so we haven't felt the effects of the insulation yet, but I have high hopes we'll see it on this winter's heating bill!

While Dane was wonderful in replacing our water heater's anode rod, it was quite bothersome that we…read morehad to pay $250 to have it replaced on a part covered under warranty. The water heater was installed 2 1/2 years ago by Rivival Heating and the anode rod needed to be replaced because "Portland water is so hard and full of minerals". The original quote for labor alone (not covered under warranty) was $340 but we got the manager to bring it down to $250. Still, the water heater is only 2 1/2 years old and that was an expense we did not anticipate when we bought the water heater. The prior one was not broken but when we had Rivival replace our furnace, they strongly suggested replacing the water heater at the same time. The old one never produced brown water but after just two years, the new one did. Maybe the water heater wasn't as good as the previous one? Not sure... Forgot to add, my home warranty service said they could not reimburse me because this is a "warranty issue". And to be truthful, the furnace job was great! Just wish the water heater repair didn't cost me anything. Next year, when it is out of warranty, I'll be able to file for reimbursement from my home warranty provider.

I hired Ulises Pro Insulation in 2023 to do work in my attic. The work was not done correctly…read more(attic was not air sealed and the bathroom vent was not reconnected), resulting in mold growth. I had mold removed by a mold company. Ulises offered to fix the problem; however my home was for sale, and we were already under contract to have the problem fixed by a company that specializes in mold removal. There is more to the story, but I ended up taking Ulises to small claims court to pay for the removal of the mold. Ulises did not show up to court, and the judge ruled in my favor. Ulises owes me about $2300 and has not paid as of 6/2026. I have notified him by mail two times about this, and I have not received a response or a payment. I do not recommend using this company. The work was not done correctly, and they owe me a few thousand dollars.

I had the team blow in insulation in the top floor of my house (approximately 1,000 sq. ft.) and also replace the existing windows with new Anderson windows. In addition, they installed a new front door, blocked out the old back door and installed a new sliding glass door. The work was done quickly, efficiently and with superior craftsmanship. UPDATED 11/15/2025 After my complaint about the service the…read morecompany offered to returned to reclean our vents and ducts in exchange for me either taking down the review or giving them 5 stars. The return job was completed somewhat satisfactorily. When they returned to complete the job, the owner kept making statements about me updating the review to 5 stars in exchange for coming back and completing the original job. Read the 4 star review on here, as it was the same with that person as it was with us. Just like everyone elses negative reviews the Groupon is a bait and switch. They came to our house told us everything was very dirty and that everything will need to be brushed no vacuumd so our Groupon was worthless. $450 for a half done job(see pictures of AFTER the original work was done). We requested a detailed invoice of the service and when we didn't receive it I called to find out what the delay was. The person I spoke to just kept reiterating the same thing over and over. How dirty everything was and how they cleaned it and I was to prove to him where it was still dirty. Mind you he was looking at this very same review while on the phone. The last red flag that is they only take venmo AND it goes to a private individual under the name Marlene Gomez Perez. Please do not use this company.

I rarely write bad reviews, but holy smokes -- this company has been a total disaster…read more They installed the HVAC system for an ADU I built in 2025. During the installation, they drilled through a structural beam in a way that created an inspection problem and ultimately cost me **several thousand dollars in additional structural engineering work** to get the project approved. Now we're in the **very first summer this cooling system has actually been used**, and it has already broken. I contacted them expecting them to stand behind their work, and they are refusing to fix it. So, to recap: their installation created a costly structural problem during construction, and now the brand-new cooling system they installed has failed during its first season of use -- and they won't take responsibility for repairing it. I genuinely don't leave bad reviews often, but this has been an extraordinarily frustrating and expensive experience. I would absolutely not use this company again.
