At 4 PM I noticed my AC was not turning on, the tech, Matt, was at my house within 30 minutes the general manager, Kyle Hoffer, made sure that our needs were met and the AC unit was repaired. we are VIP members and there is no doubt in my mind. I had a furnace repair appointment scheduled for between 8:00 a.m. and noon. When no one arrived by 1:00 p.m., I called the company. They then canceled the appointment and offered to reschedule for a later date. This resulted in my entire morning being wasted, plus an additional hour in the afternoon, after I had rearranged my schedule and canceled meetings to accommodate them. I received no updates or communication during the window, and no regard was shown for the inconvenience caused. read more

They do a great job with the physical service but I was part of their service club and the became a problem. Over the past 6 years, they've now dropped me twice for technical difficulties. The first time, they called me 4 months later to say I hadn't been paying and they just noticed, so we got it fixed. This time, it's been six months and I had to call them. First I emailed but a week later, no response. When I called at 8:45, it said they were closed and to push one for an after hours call. It took me texting to get a hold of someone. They said my service club ended in January but that's never happened before. It took me asking now questions to get the truth.. that their system glitched and dropped a bunch of clients. No one called, no email was sent and no one ever showed up to service my appliances. It's crazy that I have to call to give them my money. Again, they do a great job on site, but be wary of their service club. The service part isn't always there and for that, I think I unfortunately have to move on. read more

they don't answer their phones! then they lead you to a website to schedule online, which doesn't work. it took 7 hours to get everything thing up and running. Five years ago I gave a five star review. It dropped to three when I was so frustrated trying to get service completed. Kyle, the general manager took maybe 10 minutes here and brought his child with him not appropriate. Brian, the owner never did contact. I don't think he may have been here with John Miranda, who finished the job John Miranda did a good job. He was out there from 1 PM to approximately 7 PM on a Friday evening luckily this all happened before a heat wave. It was very uncomfortable in the previous night now we're up and running so everything's fine but there is no way I can more than a three star review at this time. Fantastic customer service. I was frazzled trying to deal with having my gas furnace shut off (by Heat Relief, avoid at all costs!) at a really bad time. Kurt quickly assessed the actual problem (holes drilled into the exhaust pipe and not sealed) and very generously offered a service visit for safety assessment at no cost. My almost 40 year old furnace wasn't on its last legs and could have probably lasted 2 more years, but I wanted to retire it while it was still functioning well. Like a professional athlete nearing the end of their career that just won a championship it's better to retire as a champion versus being retired due to injury so the time came to install a new heating system that was almost 40 years old. Firstly, I must acknowledge that this is a veteran-owned, family-run small business, which automatically earns my preference over many competitors. When I refer to this entity as a "small family business," I mean that the company made me feel more like family than a customer. Blue mountain was patient with me as I sought bids from other HVAC contractors for a complete furnace and HVAC installation. Many other competing HVAC contractors tried to perplex me with complicated bids, attempting to razzle dazzle me with contingencies such as, "If we need to do duct work, it'll be an additional $1,000, but we won't know for six months." Or spent 3 hours measuring duct work and using lasers and the obvious fear-based selling. In simpler terms, I wanted a bid with a final price for what I specifically asked for and not have it gold-plated, needlessly expensive, one firm fix price, and no fear-based selling (One of the competitors tried to say that they were open now but in 3 weeks would be booked out 3 months GTFO) Bull Mountain, a locally-owned veteran small business, is very active in the community, and their past performance is well-documented. Brian, who came to perform the site inspection, was incredibly courteous and attentive to my needs. The Bull Mountain team was also very accommodating when setting up the installation to meet my requirements. The installation took two days and went smoothly. The installation manager, Kevin, even returned to carry out some additional work, ensuring that the furnace rim was not sharp and wouldn't injure anyone passing by, as it initially had sharp edges. The installation team was notably efficient and hardworking; they scarcely took any breaks. One of the installers seemed to be on the ladder for almost eight hours, demonstrating extreme dedication! Though I tried to stay out of their way as much as possible, they were always friendly and courteous when I had a question. Kevin went above and beyond to confirm that the system was operating at full capacity before we finalized the acceptance and system turnover. I also had the pleasure of dealing with Brian and his sister Laura, who, as it turns out, attended high school with me. So, it truly felt like a family-run business. The entire Bull Mountain contract felt like I was hiring some friends to install my air conditioner. It felt like a familial affair, as if I had invited my uncles and cousins over to help me install an air conditioner/furnace. I felt treated like family from the get-go. You're probably wondering about the cost. I received well over ten bids, and Bull Mountain's was very fair and reasonably priced (competition is the best form of price reasonableness). Furnace replacement and HVAC installation is not cheap, no matter who you choose to do it. So, do your research on brands and remember that it's cheaper to pay a little more upfront for a reputable company than to deal with breaks caused by an unreliable contractor. Bull Mountain was on the lower end of the price range but provided exceptional customer service and a familial atmosphere. We will see how this project fares in the long term, but I trust that Bull mountain will correct any issues that arise because they treat their customers like family. If you're looking for a reliable Trane dealer or a reputable, veteran-owned, family-run small business, I urge you to consider this company seriously. Bull mountain was the best, with no frivolous bullshit and reasonable installation times. I know many people complain about installation times, but it's better to schedule a replacement during months when you don't need it. There's a serious lack of transparency and poor communication with this company. I had too many problems to go into much detail, but suffice it to say I was not made aware of several major issues, the most agregious being that they turned off my tenants' HVAC to install a new one, found they had the wrong part, and never told me the tenants didn't have heat in the winter nor was I told the wrong part came in and there'd be a delay. They also failed to take care of a minor issue during installation, resulting in a leak that they then charged me to fix, insinuating our tenants were to blame. Unbelievable. There were other miscommunication issues, but they remain unapologetic, arrogant, and condescending. read more

The flue coming from our water heater had rusted through, above the roofline. Bull Mountain Heating scheduled a quick visit to assess. A week later, Eddie came out with the required parts and replaced the various flue components, from the water heater, thought the ceiling and roof with new up to code parts. He also painted the parts above the roof black, to match the other vents in our new roof. He was prompt, efficient, and very pleasant to work with. Our (almost 30 year old) furnace and AC were reaching end of life so we contacted several companies to get quotes for a heat pump with and natural gas furnace backup. The people from Bull Mountain were very responsive and knowledgeable about the Trane systems they offered. They got the project done quickly after we signed the contract, only took a day to do the whole thing, and did it for a fair price. The people who came to install everything were extremely polite, courteous, and professional. The financing terms they offered were great. Our appointment was set for between 12:00 and 2:00. Eddie arrived at 12:15 and went right to work. He checked out our 12 year old Trane furnace and matching heat pump. He found no issues with either except for flushing the A/C drain line on the furnace and cleaning the furnace filters. Other than that they had a clean bill of health. We did ask him some questions about the hall thermostat to see if it could be more user friendly when switching from heat pump to furnace but were told this older model does not offer anything more than the original factory settings. I asked him to quote on a new thermostat to replace this one. Also asked for a quote on a new improved air cleaner system and a quote to remove an older air duct no longer used. All quotes plus a copy our invoice were received by the end of the same day. A very efficient team that know the value of excellent customer service. We had our furnace replaced by BMH and couldn't have asked for a better experience. Our furnace is in the attic and all other companies we had quote stated they would have to do demolition of the attic entrance to remove the old unit and install the new. However, all of these companies stated it would be our responsibility to return the entrance to original condition after they were finished. Bull Mountain measured and assured us they could do the job without demolition, even though it was the same brand/unit as the other companies quoted as requiring demo. They had great communication throughout the process and were easy to work with. On install day they brought a large enough crew to assist with the challenge of moving everything through an attic entrance and completed the job in a timely manner. I called them back and asked them to send a proposal for a new AC unit because we've been waiting for over a week. The lady told me we'll get it to you ASAP. I was looking to install a new heater and AC in my 1970's home and found BMH through Costco. I worked with Kurt and he was very informative. He told me about the ductless heating/AC split system and all the financial options. I was very impressed with how much info they gave and even all the incentive options they knew about. Kurt helped me make a GREAT decision for me home and family. Unfortunately, there price for the unit was higher than an another company I got a quote from. Even though the other company was not as well informed. Also, I wanted to go with a different model of unit based on my internet research and personal understanding of my options. I did have them install the insulation in my attic though. Kurt was so amazing at letting me know my house was ill equipped with insulation. Other than price, Bull Mountain was great. When we initially shopped around for AC, we received several bids but decided to go with BM because of the friendly salesman, (Kurt), Very detailed explanation of services, the very detailed expectation of yearly maintenance, including if we wanted to ADD extra service maintenance what that cost would be and what we would get for the 'extra service plan' if we wanted to go that route', as well as the super quick and professional installation plan and the kind follow up calls from Kurt. He really was the reason for closing the deal. We were thrilled to have such a home town / family owned professional and caring service. - especially when we were looking at spending so much money. We opted to not go for the 'added service plan' due to the cost and the lack of probability of after hours needs or costs outside of a service warranty that would occur- we would be OK with spending, if an emergency did happen. But in the end, we had peace of mind we would be receiving a basic annual courtesy visit throughout the warranty of the equipment - just to make sure the equipment was operating effectively as well as a good business would do - keep the business relationship. We recalled very specifically ( and had made notes on our paperwork through the purchase process) the 10 year warranty - and thought wow how cool was this? What an exemplary offer we couldn't pass up ( compared to the competitors), what we would get by a 'courtesy annual visit' knowing if something outside the warranty happened we would have to pay out of pocket without the small discount. We recalled were told we would receive a call in about a year to come by and check the system out and answer any questions and address any needs on the equipment installed. But, just in case, we marked our calendar to follow up. No call received, so I called. Darlene, quite a lovely, nicely spoken, very friendly, and courteous lady transferred me to Laura. And this is where it went quickly down a slippery slope. I explained - or tried to explain the above and was quickly met with shocking rudeness and short answers, but most rudely was I thwarted and reminded we did not sign up for the Extended Service Membership therefore we will NOT have a serviceman do a courtesy visit (as we wrote down and thoroughly recalled was part of the purchase annually) unless we sign up for the extended service because they don't do that. Caught off guard, I continued to try to state what we recalled and was quickly shut down. If you look at the website, it states they have "always offered annual maintenance options ( and now are able to provide extra benefits)" - at a cost. ALWAYS HAD ANNUAL MAINTENANCE OPTIONS. Whether we misunderstood or are getting the shaft now, the shear severe lack of empathy, short and rude customer service from Laura was enough for me to let her know I will not do business with BM again as well and my family and friends desperate for AC this year would not be referred to BM. The response? "Ok, Thanks for calling." What a disappointment read more

I wish I would have called them earlier when I ran into an issue with our A/C. I went through multiple contractors/vendor to look for a new A/C to replace a supposedly faulty one. They came in & offered to fix the issue to save me $ before going through the replacement. Short to say, they found the issue & fixed it saving me $$$$ ! I would say that the technician assigned to my issue was very thorough in root causing the issue & recommending & implementing a fix. They now have me as a customer for life & if anyone would ask me, I would highly recommend their services. read more

We are so pleased with our home upgrade! We got an energy audit with Enhabit, and Kurt brought his crew in to our house for full duct system and Air-Conditioning/Heating air handler and compressor. They installed new insulation in our attic and crawl space, a very easy-to use screen display thermostat on the wall, premium air filters with LED indicator lights to let you know when they need to be washed (not thrown away!) and a pull-down folding ladder into the ceiling for access to our air-handler in the attic (an extra awesome bonus!). Kurt was professional, nice, timely and his team was very friendly and cleaned up each day. They work very hard - I couldn't imagine working in a hot attic during such scorching weather, but they did. We have never been so in Love with a Machine. You never hear anything, and you barely even notice the system is working - except that its 20 degrees cooler than outside! Plus, with the interactive screen, we can see exactly what temperature it is outside and inside, and adjust the set point to exactly what we want. This HVAC system is top tier - it doesn't get any better than this! It works a million times better than any residential AC I've ever been in - We ran our system nearly 24/7 during the last month of heat waves, and our bill for an entire house was less than our monthly bill for our last 2 apartments used to be! In the heat wave we are experiencing now, we couldn't be any more grateful. With the loan service recommended by Enhabit and Bull Mountain, it was very easy to get financed for the best possible efficient system that will serve us for at least the next decade. Its really worth it! We will never have to deal with window-shakers again! We highly recommend them. read more

Plus they were one of the most inexpensive quotes that we had received to do this. The appointment was a week out, but we understood due to the heat and how busy they must have been. I was referred to them by Enhabit to install a furnace that would be eligible for a tax rebate. Instead, they installed a furnace that was not eligible for the state tax rebate because it didn't include the right fan. So now I'm out $350. I don't know how I could have possibly known this on my own as the only difference that led to the rejection by the state was the absence of a single digit on the code. Really frustrating. They should have known this before they installed an ineligible furnace. I'd recommend going with a company that is going to install a furnace that actually gets you the rebate, unless you like throwing away hundreds of dollars. read more

Professional, thorough and a pleasure to work with on a longer term energy modification project for my home. I worked at home while the workers were doing various projects like replacing an old hot water heater and furnace and though occasionally noisy (hard not to be given the work) the workmen were not intrusive and I was able to focus on my own work. There were some concerns about the work being done on time but the company stepped up and the workers were there extra hours to insure the work was done in the time indicated and the project manager and the energy project manager were thorough and showed me with photos what work was done in the areas I wouldn't normally visit (like the crawlspace or attic) and what that work meant to the overall energy efficiency of my house. A job well done and a company that is a pleasure to deal with for heating, AC or insulation needs.
