The people they've sent out for follow-up inspections have not seemed nearly as thorough or competent as the original crew. On one occasion, the inspector appeared to go only a couple of feet into the crawlspace before saying everything looked great. How is that considered a thorough inspection of an entire crawlspace? We also had a bee problem and contacted their pest control department. We were told they only treat as high as they can reach unless there is a visibly active hive. A handyman eventually found the hives in our gutters and took care of the problem, so we had to hire someone else to resolve an issue we had originally brought to this company. The scheduling and communication have also been extremely poor. They tell you what day they are coming, and if that date doesn't work, it can be nearly impossible to reach anyone in the pest department to reschedule. Calls frequently aren't returned, and emails sometimes go unanswered. This has happened on multiple occasions, not just once. We've repeatedly been told they are short staffed. I understand staffing issues happen, but at some point that becomes a company issue--not something the customer should have to continually deal with, especially when we've paid a premium for ongoing service and a warranty. Most recently, I emailed asking what other dates were available since I couldn't get anyone to return my calls. I was told, "nothing unfortunately." I then asked again for a callback so we could actually find a date and get this resolved. Instead, I received another email saying they were short staffed. So where does that leave me as a customer? I have a warranty that I'm supposed to have confidence in, yet I can't even get someone to schedule the follow-up service. It's disappointing because we specifically chose this company over less expensive options because we believed we were paying for quality, service, and long-term peace of mind. Attic had been ignored for years. It was one of those places nobody really thinks about until…read moresomething feels off in the house. Lately the upstairs rooms always felt dusty and the temperature kept changing a lot, cold at night and warm during the day. Someone suggested checking the attic and once it was opened it was pretty obvious the insulation was very old and the space needed a real cleaning. Team came out and took their time looking around first. They explained what they were seeing and why the old insulation was not really doing its job anymore. There was a lot of buildup, old insulation, dust, and just years of stuff sitting in the attic. Once they started removing everything it was kind of surprising how much came out. Whole attic was cleaned out properly before anything new went in. They also pointed out a few small openings where air was getting in and sealed those while they were up there. After that the new insulation was installed and the difference started to show pretty quickly. Upstairs already feels more comfortable and the house keeps the temperature much better. Air feels cleaner too, which was something that was noticed almost right away. One thing that stood out was how careful they were during the process. They covered areas they were walking through and cleaned everything before leaving so there was no mess left behind. Scope was to replace drywall, paint and texture match, install new PVC baseboards and caulk everything. Price was very reasonable for the amount of work around which was 14 sqft and drywall and 12 linear feet of trim replacement. I keep buckets of paint for all the paint used in the house so matching was easy. The drywall work and paint work was superb, absolutely zero complaints it looks like it never happened. Comparing Fast Patch crew's work to the guys who did the bathroom originally makes the original folk's look like toddlers. Fast Patch made very precise cuts for cutouts and didn't need to slap on mud to fill huge holes. I was very impressed with the attention to detail. I know it sounds small but you'd be surprised... I did ask them to caulk the baseboards to the floor and that didn't go so great. I get there can be some weirdness when caulking across a grout line so I expect imperfections in those areas, but the person left the tape used to square the caulk for over an 1 hour on the floor so when it was removed it ripped the caulk and lifted the seal from the floor and ripped out many tiny sections so the gap still exists. So it will need to be all scraped out and redone to get a good seal. In their defense they are a drywall company so not sure if my complaint is too valid, but it does mean more work for me immediately after the repair. If I need a drywall or paint job in a more isolated place i.e. middle of wall ceiling I would 100% use again.
