When I called the company I had previously used i was told that the earliest appointment was two months out. I went ahead and made the appointment. Then someone was asking about gas fireplace service on Nextdoor and a few folks suggested RR Fireplace. I called them and was able to schedule an appointment one month earlier so cancelled the other guy. RR Fireplace came out today and was on time and did an excellent job cleaning and fixing my fireplace. They showed me that one of the clips was not fastened on the glass on front and that the logs were arranged in such a way that one was being singed from the flame causing the black soot. The technician asked who had service the fireplace the last time. He also had to look up on the Internet how to arrange the logs because he said the manufacturer uses the same logs in different ways on several of their fireplaces and he thought the previous technician used one of the other configurations by mistake. One hour and $179.52 later my fireplace was fixed, cleaned and working perfectly! I will be using RR Fireplace in the future.

The service was fast, affordable, and high quality. I truly appreciate their expertise and integrity. I wish I could give them more than 5 stars!

If their actual service offerings are what you need, I would definitely say they are courteous and responsive. Unfortunately, in my case, they don't offer the kind of work we needed.

After a thorough onsite visit to gather our input, Eric provided a detailed estimate, which unknown to him, exceeded our budget - and then worked with us to make the project within our budget while maintaining our priorities and aesthetic. During the estimating processes, we were told a 6-month lead time was needed due to the current climate (COVID) - and they were able to start/complete the project more than a month earlier than planned. As installation began, the team prepared the jobsite to ensure zero damage to our wood floors and surrounding areas. Throughout the project and upon completion the jobsite (our home) was kept clean - like they had not been there. At the conclusion of the project, we had a beautiful show piece that looked like it had been to the house all along. We have been enjoying it for the last few days, and I am looking forward to next winter and cozy rainy evenings enjoying the mesmerizing flames. Thank you, Four Day Fireplace.

He was very respectful of our home, protecting the floor, etc. We had contacted Precision Energy to see if there was any way to save our 2006 Lennox built-in propane gas fireplace, which we had been told by another company had an unfixable gas leak. Casey arrived, listened to what we had learned and been told, and then carefully took apart our fireplace laying all the parts on a protective floor covering. We were thrilled when he then said he could fix it and explained our options. We agreed with the option that would likely give us another 10 to 15 years of use. He replaced the gas line, the gas valve, and the pilot, and put the fireplace back together. It looks and works beautifully. We give Casey and the company five stars without hesitation!

Not only did we get an appointment within days, Casey showed up exactly on time, and even called to let us know he was on his way. He used care and caution in our home, and was very respectful by taking his shoes off without even being asked. Casey came prepared with parts necessary for the retrofit. After the main servicing of the 28 year old fireplace, he told us it could easily be fitted with a remote, and that it already had a fan - that was broken. He quickly retrofitted for the remote and installed a new fan. We were so happy that we didn't have to replace the entire fireplace. We cannot recommend this company enough!

The previous technician they had for years would always take the time to clean and test everything in great detail. The current technician came last year to do the second service in a 3 year prepaid plan I bought and spent about 20 minutes not cleaning much. I had to take it all apart and clean it myself. I just let that slide thinking it would be a one off thing but today it happened again. The same technician my cameras clocked him in at 11:28am and leaving by 11:49am. That would leave him about 15 minutes of cleaning time if you factor in laying out/picking up of tools and writing out the service report. I happened to be home at the time he arrived and he actually had the nerve to try and sell me on doing a prepaid package again because the price is increasing as I was leaving for work. I will have to take it all apart and clean it myself again and in my opinion Anderson owes me my money back for two years of that plan. They showed me how bad it was falling apart to the touch...this got the ball rolling in my head (since i do have some roof leaks from around the chimney maybe) to address the chimney. These guys (again, off the street, no truck or anything) weren't going to be who i hired. So i had 2 companies come inspect & bid (both priced the same) and i went with Ed's. Oscar is the owner, Ed's son, and he's been doing chimneys for his whole life. When the owner is actually doing the work himself (like i do) is always an "im sold" situation for me. He and his assistant were at my place, on time, at a time that worked for me, for 5 hrs/3 days. Oscar explained every detail, answered all my questions, spotted some minor leak related stuff on my roof and fixed it at no extra charge. He is VERY in tune with maintaining high customer satisfaction. He was also conscious of making sure no carbon monoxide would creep into the house. He improved upon that exact situation that a previous heating company handled in an inferior capacity. They left no mess. I'm super happy with the new chimney! i have no doubt if there is any issues in the near future, he will be on top of it.

CM Heating Review…read more We decided to go with CM Heating for several reasons. Their reviews online were very good. I talked to my neighbors to hear what their experience was and CM Heating name was brought up a couple times as a stand out company. The sales person Amber was very professional and gave us a ton of information. She was instantly responsive when I had questions. We got 3 bids for this job. I took all the information and used AI to compare the mountain of info to get its take in the bids. Cm Heating consistently had the edge over the others. The main reason was the warranty. If you are spending a fair amount of money, you need a good warranty. All said and done CM Heating was the winner Getting an install date was a breeze. All the detail work was handled by them. The office sent me the permits to print and post. Install Day I was notified of the time they would arrive and the guys were right on time Tim and Melvin sized up the job and jumped in at full speed. Melvin worked on the furnace Tim on the Heat Pump. These guys never stopped the entire time except when my wife brought them some home made chocolate chip cookies. I was very impressed with their performance. We had questions along the way and they provided answers immediately. Great trustworthy people. By the time they were done all the areas were spotless. Obviously I made the correct decision going with CM Heating and I would highly recommend them

When it stopped heating in Winter (thankfully, we have back-up propane), CM quoted us $3,200 for a thermal expansion valve (TXV) replacement. They explicitly said that while the parts were covered under warranty, the labor was not. We got a second opinion -- and while the part failed, the second company pointed out that we had a 10 year parts and labor warranty (he was easily able to get to this info, which means CM should have, too -- especially since they sold it to me). I've now called CM several times to inform them that they need to cover the repair, but I've been ghosted. I assume this is likely because they can charge a higher rate for labor on a customer-pay job than they can be paid by the warranty company and are hoping I'll go to another company, but I have no proof of that. As far as I'm concerned, they sold me the unit and the warranty -- and they can do the repair. Once the warranty is over? I'll never deal with CM again.
