Recently went and got three pies - chocolate chess, maple pecan and banana Nutella cream pie. Each one was delicious. The banana Nutella pie was amazing but my favorite is probably the maple pecan. It's just not often that you come across a truly good pecan pie. I do think it's a little pricy but I would splurge every now and then and go back and try other pies. read more

I was surprised to see a negative review about the owner. Brianna is a nice, friendly upbeat person. They do sell limited number of pies. However they are made fresh daily, so if you make too many then they go to waste. As a business owner I understand the bottom line. The pot pies are soooooo good. Yes I wish they were made more often but they probably don't sell out so again more waste. Just try this place for yourself. read more

Awesome!! Unbelievable!! I stopped by here yesterday to grab something to cheer up my mom. I had seen it many times and was in the mood for something different. It was spectacular. The staff was so kid and helpful answering every question I had. My quiche was delicious. Very light and full of flavor. My mom said her pie was one of the best she had ever had and the one I bought for an employee was described as "a religious experience". Kinda sad I am on a diet because I could have are my way through the menu. It will be a staple of mine, I can't wait for my the next party invite I get because I know what I am bringing. read more

Some of the best pie I've ever had! I had a delicious Chocolate Chess pie when I came here, and it was absolutely divine! All of the other baked goods on display looked scrumptious, but the confectionery I selected was absolutely divine. The staff was amazing, and served me with kindness and diligence. I had high hopes for this place when it first opened, but now I don't. The concept was that they would have a large selection of pies to choose from and they even had a suggested pie board. Slowly the concept of a large selection was replaced with only a couple of daily mini pie choices. The first pie I had was the peanut butter pie and the sugar had not been dissolved. It was like eating peanut butter with sugar poured over the top. Next I tried the apple pie, but found that Publix bakery is better. I found myself going in only to think, "oh that is all they have today". Out of all the pies on the board, it always seem like they only have apple, pecan, key lime, and maybe one other flavor. I can justify spending $5 for a pie (which is big enough for two), but the large pies are grossly over priced. I had a friend order a pie as a birthday "cake" and swore he would never order from them again based on how much he had to spend and the sub par quality for that price. For the price they charge, you can make 2 pies yourself. I can honestly go to Pubix down the road and get a cheaper pie that is just as good or better. The owner also always seems to be in a bad mood. She does all the baking herself, so I can imagine she is tired, but twice I have heard her be a little brutal with both her staff and customers. I have never tried her savory pies, which I will give a shot, but my circle of friends have a bet going as to how long they will last if that says anything. read more

adorable bakery in a quaint, and lovely, downtown area in northeast georgia. we stumbled upon this downtown area by accident on our way back home from a georgia vacation. i saw "crave pie" and had to go in, i'm a sucker for a good bakery and even more so for a good pie. upon walking in it is bright and cheery but only offers very limited indoor seating (perhaps enough for 10-12 people and tables only fit 2 people each). the pie cases were basically empty with only a few offerings available, and that was very disappointing. the menu is chock full of different choices but really there was only 2 to choose from, my husband almost cried after he was told she only makes pot pies once a week. i get it, it's a small business and perhaps she does all the work herself but honestly, there should be a basic menu, with items that are available every day and then just throw in a few extras. the flavor of pies that were available were so tempting, i settled on the pineapple habanero and got a chocolate chess for my kids. the pineapple was one of the absolute best pies, or baked goods, i have ever had (and i am a baker). the taste and out of the box flavor combinations together with a buttery/flaky pastry crust is why i give crave pie 4 stars. had the pie not been as absolutely amazing my rating would have been much...much...lower. also, i did expect the woman working there (i assume the owner) to be more friendly, but perhaps we had been spoiled by the over abundance of sweet southern hospitality while we were visiting, her demeanor is more of what i'm used to here in the cold/harsh/no lack of sass, chicago area. all in all, i recommend crave pie based on it's location and definitely the taste of the pies. however, don't be disappointed if there isn't much of a selection, if you can't find a place to sit, or if you're not meant with a cheery baker. read more

I was randomly craving some Key Lime Pie and yelped some pie stores near the area. I luckily stumbled upon this jewel of a pie studio or heaven, because even though they did not have the key lime pie I craved, they have lemon chess and chocolate chess pie to make up for it. It was so delightful and what was even also a bonus was their freshly whipped cream on top of the lemon chess pie. I went again with my husband the next day and got the key lime chess and mushroom and ham quiche and its hard for me to say this, but none of the pies seem like a miss and its all a hit! Everyday is a different a set of pie/quiche menus. I wish they have something similar to this back home in New Jersey. I have yet to try their chicken pot pie and everything else on the menu before I sign up for weight watchers. The flavors are perfect for my taste and doesn't wear you out with the over abundance of sweetness, the sweet flavors are just right so you're teeth aren't crawling with cavities. Anyway its my favorite spot for pie and I worry that when I go back home I won't ever find similar decadant pie place like this. read more

Crave Pie comes to my work sporadically and they were here several weeks ago when I heard they had some unique pies with cheddar apple and cherry jalapeno bacon. I asked Briana if she could bring at least one for me to try since they were not the regular selection she normally brings since she figured most people would not want to try them. Crave Pie returned to my work today and it's been over a month since they last visited so I assumed she would not have remembered me or my request, but she surprised me and brought me BOTH of the pies I asked about and had them ready for me when I walked up! I love pie and I love this pie shop. I first discovered crave at local farmers markets. When I no longer could wait one week to get my pie fix, I visited Crave's retail shop. It is located in downtown Duluth and very adorable. I've had just about every flavor that Crave offers but my favorite is probably the apple crumb and maple pecan. What can I say? I'm a traditionalist. Crave is definitely destination worthy. Check it out, you won't be disappointed. Everything tastes as if grandma baked it. read more

These pies are oh so very good. They offer large pies and adorable perfectly-portioned mini pies. I had the strawberry-rhubarb pie and my husband had the Guinness chocolate pie; both were unbelievably good. The crust on those pies was better than any I've had before. As untraditional as it may have been, my husband and I decided that we wanted pies for our wedding day instead of cake. Enter Crave Pie Studio. Living in Miami, we had very limited time when we would come up to Atlanta to plan our wedding. Brianna was gracious and kind, and allowed us to come in for a visit one Saturday with our families to do a quick taste testing, even though they were incredibly busy. We were all knocked off our feet by how delicious everything was. We decided to book Crave Pie Studio immediately, and discussed with Brianna over email how to best proceed. She was responsive and professional, and worked with us until we were 100% happy with our final order. 6 big pies, and 15 dozen little ones to feed our guests. Chocolate Bourbon Pecan, Dutch Apple, and Chocolate Chess pies wowed our guests, and remain the number 1 thing people talk about when they mention our wedding. We are beyond pleased that we chose Crave Pie Studio, and thank Brianna and her team for treating us so well. 10/10, would definitely recommend. read more

We happened by Crave Pie Studio and shared a small Maple Pecan pie with flaky crust and a filling that was perfect - not too dry or too gooey like many Pecan pies can be. My friend and I went to Crave Pie Studio yesterday when we were "doing" Duluth. It was to be the highlight of our day. As a home baker, I was disappointed with the Chocolate Bourbon Pecan Pie I had. It was so hard I wasn't able to cut it with a fork, so had to eat it by hand. It was clearly over-baked, so that it didn't even have much taste. We were disappointed that the pie was served in the tin with no personal attention--no warming, no cream, no ice cream--just handed over on a paper plate. The place needs to serve soft drinks, and ice cream to enjoy the with the pie and should have been served to us warm at our table. I am sorry to say that I was not impressed. read more

Simply outstanding! We stopped by after lunch at the Park Cafe and bought one of their small blueberry pies and it was delicious ... fresh baked with lots of blueberry's and a flaky thin crust. Today I was lucky enough to indulge in yet another rhubarb pie from Crave Pie Studio. After splitting one with my grandmother the week before we made sure to order a large one for the family for Father's Day. Not only was the crust light and crispy but the topping was a perfect crumble. The rhubarb itself was cooked to perfection with just enough bite to stay true to the full flavor. I may love making my own desserts but from now on I think I'll leave the pie making to the professionals! read more

Stopped in after a fun filled shopping day in Duluth. Although the pie was good, the counter worker was not nearly as pleasant. On the menu board the drink selection includes 'soda'...I innocently asked for a Diet Coke. I was met with an elitist eye roll and a statement that coke products were not served there and everything was natural. I got a water, as I cannot have fruit juices due to a strawberry allergy (tho root beer was also a 'natural' option). A few reasons this is not okay and one or two as to why it is. 1. The business has every right to choose products to serve/sell 2. It is hypocritical for a dessert shop worked to act like Coke is crack. period. 3. The part of the work I come from soda means Coke , so the assumption was normal 4. If this business wants return business, politeness and curtesy would go a long way End thought: The food is good, but I will not be back. No one will pay money to have someone belittle them in front of their own children. read more
