I also got a few macaroons to try. I got the pistachio and birthday cake. The birthday cake was fine but didn't taste like cake to me, but the pistachio had a delicious strong pistachio flavor. And of course moving on to the beer... the primary motivator to come here. I got the Kölsch beer here called Field Trip. I do love a good Kölsch as they are nice, light bodied beers. And they are especially nice in the summertime. Flavor features in this beer is maltiness, breadiness, a bit of hoppiness and a dry finish. Another beer that Steve and I tried was the INWPA which was a Pale Ale. It was also a nice light bodied beer which again hit the spot despite it being a different drinking session. Flavor characteristics in this beer is citrus, a yeastiness, hoppiness and a biscuity trait. Good beers and sandwiches and we are aiming for a return whenever we are in Spokane again.

If I had been in town more than 2 days I would have gone more. Price: normally I don't mention this because prices are in the eye of the beholder. But compared to my native SoCal the prices here were $1-2 less per drink. A latte and a huge home-baked scone for $10? Wouldn't happen elsewhere. So bravo for keeping prices reasonable.
