We got here shortly before closing, and there was a long line at the self-checkout kiosk, but that was mostly due to people taking a while to figure out what they wanted to order. CRAVE was popping on a Friday night! Stopped by a little afterwards 9pm (they close at 10pm) and they were quite busy. There's several tables inside to enjoy your sweet treat and luckily we were able to grab one of the last ones. There's a menu on the windows entrance, but otherwise you scan their QR code. In addition to the three page menu, they have a sign with monthly specials as well. Decided to make my own treat - chocolate bubble waffle with Oreo filling, pistachio ice cream, brownie toppings, and chocolate syrup drizzle. The waffles are made to order, so definitely have some patience. Even though they were busy, many order was ready in about 5 minutes. Man was it good! I really enjoyed the pistachio ice cream, which had pistachio pieces. I could barely taste the Oreos in my chocolate waffle, but it was still pretty good. Diane and Vlad are such awesome hosts. We arrived early and they welcomed us right in! We were the first customers in and their attentiveness was so genuine. I missed out on the recent event and a dear YELP friend filled me in on the deets! For sure peep at the menu because offerings here are abundant. The space is bright, and pristine. These definitely satisfy and are made hot and fresh (which melts the ice cream a bit faster, but I didn't have any issues with it dripping all over due to the cardboard cone). Great options for flavors and combos, and as a chocolate lover I got the the all chocolate one. Clean, roomy, well-lit space with efficient staff that know the menu and are happy to walk you through it. The space has modern clean aesthetic with chairs that proved to be pleasantly comfortable. The staff is helpful and friendly. Crave can get crowded pretty quickly but we were lucky enough to walk in at a lull in the line where there were only two folks ahead of us. The kids enjoyed their S'more crepes but I didn't try it. I was too busy devouring the Candied Fruit waffle (I think it was the first on the menu). That was absolutely delicious! I was across the street picking up my food and had a sweet tooth so I finally decided to try Crave. I got my order to go only because I wanted to eat my dinner before having dessert. I know having it to go is nothing compared to how good it may taste having it right away. The interior is very cute and cozy. It gave me coffee shop vibes. I ordered the blueberry cheesecake waffle. In theory, all the ingredients sounds amazing but I didn't care for the cream cheese filling with the ice cream because it gave off a strange aftertaste. Drove all the way from Pennsylvania to get this! Nah, jokes aside I did have this in mind when I was still back home, saw them on good old TikTok and knew that I would be stopping when I came to Baltimore. This cup was loaded with strawberries, which was expected since it isn't cheap, and just enough chocolate and pistachio that I wasn't overwhelmed with sweetness which is big for me. Strawberries were fresh, the actual pistachio crumbles were a great touch along with the pistachio cream, & the crunchiness of the roasted kataifi made it fun to eat! I'm still torn on the chocolate, not sure if I was a major fan and couldn't tell if it was just syrup or actually melted, but regardless it all worked out and blended well. I walked 30 minutes total from where I was previously just to order it, so that wasn't my greatest decision, but at least I got some exercise before I inhaled this! The 2 girls working were very polite and in a good mood, even got a compliment on my outfit! It took probably two minutes for them to throw it together and send me on my way! Now I have personally made a Dubai chocolate bar before myself at home and loved the taste so my judgement can be a little unbiased. I think Waffle-Licious version is good but can be better, I believe the Kataifi could be a lot crispier than it is presented in this cup. I was a little disappointed it got soggy quick in my cup but that could be due to the chocolate. Then the chocolate I feel like could have been a lot richer. The chocolate tasted more like chocolate syrup instead of melted chocolate. The strawberries were perfect and super sweet. It was empty when I arrived but I was greeted by the employee and given some time to figure out what I wanted. The interior was really sleek modern and cozy. Wow wow wow! The flavors were amazing! I went with a toasted strawberry ice cream inside the freshly made waffle cone. I then added cheesecake crumbles and then doubled down on the fresh strawberries (see picture). All I can say is that if I was a local this would be in the regular rotation. It's been on my list for a little over a year, now I can finally cross it out :) It's a little shop on the corner, it's super cute and pretty small outside, definitely just enough room to sit and wait for your delicacy to be made. I can imagine how busy it can get during the warm weather. My boyfriend and I stopped in after a birthday dinner and got a "Make Your Own" waffle. There were a good amount of toppings and fillings you could choose from to make a perfect combination. It was sooo tasty, everything complimented each other. Waffle-Licious is a hidden gem for dessert in the Baltimore area. You would never expect how small it is from the outside, but that did not ruin the experience. They have no seating inside so beware of that. They had some cute seating outside though. This was the only drawback of the dessert shop. First things first: the entrance is on Fawn Street, not Albemarle, despite the street address. It has a small round, black sign above the door, and several tables and chairs outside, but is easy to miss if you're following your gps. Once you walk in, though, it smells heavenly. It's a tiny space, and the waffle makers are right behind the counter, so you can watch (and smell) your waffle being made. One is enough to share, but you probably won't want to. We got the Schnickers waffle, which is filled with snickers bits, then topped with caramel crunch ice cream, pretzels, chocolate, and a few other things. I thought it would be really hard to eat what is essentially an entire waffle and an ice cream sundae together, served in a paper cone. However, the waffle bubbles tear apart easily, so you can then just dip them in the ice cream. 10/10, will be back. read more

We went with the snickers one but with vanilla and caramel crunch ice cream mixed. The waffle, after it sits with the ice cream softens up and provides the tastiest flavor known to man. The bubble waffles are made with little bits of filling in each bubble and come with a robust assortment of toppings. I picked one of the standard creations rather than customize, and ended up drowned in chocolate, with an exciting mix of textures and just enough hints of non-chocolate flavor to keep things lively. The ice cream, which they emphasize as being local, is smooth stuff. I also received an abundant dose of hospitality, and was even invited to use the restroom to wash off, as eating one of these things is inevitably a sticky experience. I might have wished for more fruit in mine, but given that I didn't elect to customize I guess I'll just have to order differently if I find myself back in town. With the caveat that this is probably not going to be the place for people avoiding wheat or dairy, everyone else is likely to leave smiling and stuffed. read more
