    Before- cracks clearly documented

Let me first start off by saying that the tech Mike B. I worked with was helpful. I brought my car here due to getting into an accident and having my rear passenger door repaired and replaced. They took pictures of my vehicle all around before starting work, like any place would. I dropped my car off with 3 chips in my windshield , which they documented. They informed me it was going to take about a week to be replaced with diagnostics, paint, etc. The week passes and I get the call to get my vehicle. While picking up my vehicle and doing the after inspection, the door looks fine. However there is a NEW crack about 2 feet across the front windshield. The tech Mike, reviews the before pictures and clearly noticed this NEW crack was not there. He lets me know that Crash Champions WILL replace my windshield due to it happening on their time, while having my vehicle. I leave and Mike tells me that a glass company is going to call me shortly to get the window replacement scheduled. The windshield company calls and lets me know they're going to find one and call me back within the hour. Not even 20 minutes goes by, the General manager, Keith asks me to come back and tells me otherwise. He takes a look at my vehicle and claims "it's not their fault and it was like that before I dropped it off". Clearly not, due to the before and after photos of my car, he claims the company is not liable to fix it at all. Manager was NOT helpful at all and kept insisting, it was my fault and they ARE NOT going to replace my windshield. DO NOT GO HERE, HIGHLY NOT RECOMMENDED! Go anywhere else!

I don't usually take the time to write long reviews, but this experience absolutely deserves it…read more I recently visited Wheel Specialists, Inc., and had the opportunity to work with Gary, the General Manager. What stood out to me was the level of professionalism, character, and leadership Gary demonstrated throughout the entire interaction. There was a very slight misunderstanding regarding the services believed to have been paid for. Now, let's be honest--situations like that can go sideways very quickly. Most places get defensive, frustrated, or even confrontational when a customer believes they're right (even if they might not be entirely correct). I've seen it happen many times. Gary was the complete opposite. Instead of reacting emotionally or becoming demanding, Gary handled the situation with an incredible level of humility and grace. He calmly asked thoughtful questions, took the time to truly understand where I was coming from, and created an environment where the conversation felt respectful and productive--not tense or uncomfortable. That alone is rare. What impressed me even more was his patience and kindness throughout the entire process. There was zero ego involved--just a genuine desire to get clarity and make things right. You can't train that. That's character. Because of the way Gary handled this situation, it completely changed my perspective--not just about the business, but about how powerful it is when someone leads with professionalism, respect, and emotional intelligence. I actually walked away learning something from him. That says a lot. It's very clear why Wheel Specialists, Inc. has Gary in a leadership role. People like him are incredibly valuable to any organization. He represents the company at a very high level, and his approach to customer service is something more businesses should strive for. If you're looking for a place that does high-quality, scratch-free wheel work AND treats customers with respect and professionalism, this is it. And if you get the chance to work with Gary, you'll understand exactly what I'm talking about.

Discount Tire said there was nothing they could do, leaving me without a resolution on how to get the wheel off. The Lincoln dealership also couldn't assist, and I was sent to four different locations across the valley, including some specialists, but none were successful. Some attempted unsuccessfully, while others suggested welding off the bolts, with no guarantee of the cost or damage. After exhausting every resource in the area over a week, I contacted a friend who owns CMH Auto in Niagara. Phil found the situation ridiculous and offered to help, but it meant driving four days with three worn tires with 55,000 miles on them, a risk I couldn't take. As a last resort, teary-eyed, I pleaded with the service manager, Dave Sleater, at Wheel Specialists to see what he could do. He asked me to leave it with him, and my wife and I took an Uber home. Within the hour, he called to say it was done, and the relief I felt was incredible. After a week of frustration, I finally found my savior. When I went to pick up the vehicle and expressed my gratitude to Dave, I noticed his two cut knuckles. He said he did the work himself--it wasn't easy, going through four sockets and scraping his knuckles a few times. I've never experienced such incredible service and felt such elation because someone had the heart to help someone in dire straits. I am forever grateful.

Michael, the owner is a very nice guy. Initially when he looked at my rim, he estimated it would…read moretake about an hour which would've been around $90 but if it took up to two hours it would be $180. Overall, I figured that was fine because I certainly love my car and I've had rim repair's in the past two other vehicles and the work has been great but I had done the work through a dealer. Michael came out and work hard in the sun but because the paint needed more time to dry despite being in the sun he had to come back another day. He came back the following week and work on the vehicle in my guess is all any probably spent as much as four hours doing the work. The challenge was that in the end I now have a rim with paint that doesn't match the rest of the rim and so it stands out almost more so than it did with the damage that was on it initially. I know he worked hard, and was very gracious about doing so, but in the end, I was disappointed with the result, and will now have to probably go to the dealer and pay more to get it painted. I feel bad because I know Michael worked hard and trying to make this work, but he said that it's almost impossible to get the paint that matches this rim. I just wish you would've told me that initially because I probably would've stopped it and have it done by the dealer rather than now having to have done both and paid twice . It is what it is, but I applaud him working hard. I just wish he would've informed me that it wasn't going to be what I thought it was. Perhaps if your car is not a high-end car, it may work out fine or what I would suggest is that you ensure that whatever is used is the same paint and that it will match .
