I'm don't know if this company does good work when and IF THEY SHOW UP. Unfortunately, I WAS LEFT HIGH AND DRY an hour before our scheduled appointment time. I scheduled my appointment a week in advance with Amanda, the wife of the "mom and pop" Trammel Crane company. I had called around town and found that Trammel was a smaller, one boom truck operation that was also cheaper than other crane service companies. I told her that I needed a hot tub moved from my driveway (the drop off point from Costco delivery) to my backyard. I was told it wouldn't be a problem, so we scheduled an appointment for next week the same day as the delivery. I didn't receive a confirmation call the day before my scheduled appointment, so I called Trammel. I CALLED 24 hours in advance TO CONFIRM, but no one answered. I left a voice message asking for a call or a text to let me know we are good for the next day. Nothing. I didn't get a call back over the next 18 hours, so I called AGAIN to confirm that a crane would be at my home in about 3 hours. Five minutes later I finally had a call back from Amanda confirming that her husband, the crane operator, would arrive in a few hours as scheduled. Two hours go by and Amanda calls asking if I can have the delivery guys leave the hot tub on the truck. It's a Costco delivery, so that's not how it works, and besides the delivery already took place. She said it's fine and hung up. She called back 30 minutes later at 1pm and said, "a driver was texting and hit the back of the crane truck, so I'm not sure if there was any damage to the crane. I don't know what to tell you. My husband doesn't know if the crane is okay. I would recommend you call Smiley Crane." I asked if everyone was okay, she said her husband was fine and the driver who was texting was shaken up, but no one was injured. She said she would call me to let me know....but never really said what she would let me know. If they were still going to try and keep our appointment, if they would need to reschedule for later that day or the next...or if they just didn't want the business and had a better offer for the day. I'm assuming they forgot about my appointment or never recorded it to begin with, and instead of being honest and owning up to making a simple mistake, she lied and tried to make it work last minute. But when it didn't work out, she lied again by fabricating some story so that I WAS LEFT WITHOUT CRANE SERVICES, and then I had to scramble last minute to find someone more expensive, but also more professional. This is another tale of "CHEAPER ISN'T BETTER" AND "YOU GET WHAT YOU PAY FOR." Thankfully I didn't pay a dime to Trammel Crane for their lack of service and last minute no show. If there actually was a fender bender I hope everyone was okay. I also hope that I would have received a call from Trammel Crane after they made sure their equipment was okay. I expected that I would have gotten a call to say things happen and lets reschedule if you haven't' hired someone else. I didn't get a call though. I called Amanda at Trammel about an our after her last call to me. Giving her the benefit of the doubt, I left a voice message asking if I would be rescheduled or if I definitely needed to call another crane service. Once again, no response. If you're looking for an unprofessional crane service who doesn't return your calls and doesn't care leaving you high and dry without service, Trammel Crane is your crew. If you're looking for a crane service that answers when you call, gets you scheduled last minute despite the inconvenience, and shows up on time and ready to get the job done....call Tempe Crane. That' s who I ended up using and they did a fantastic job.

Hayward Tree Service did an excellent job on my 15 orange trees. The trees were very overgrown and…read moreneeded to be thinned and topped. The team showed up on time with all the right equipment, worked hard, cleaned up and hauled away all refuse. It has made it much easier to pick the oranges this year. I would strongly recommend them.

I've called them twice to remove trees that had to go due to remodeling and a couple of trees that…read moredied. They did a completely competant job both times. Only slight hiccup was on the second job when their crew brought the wrong equipment for the job which required rescheduling the work. It was helpful that the office was sensitive to my need to reschedule the job quickly enough to meet my needs.
