I was blown away by the level of service I received from Craneco. Dan, my point of contact went…read moreout to the location the same day I called and "sited" the job. We had to move a playhouse out of a backyard. He custom fabricated special adapters just to move my specific playhouse to ensure it wouldn't be damaged and didn't charge any extra for that. He was a super cool guy and as helpful as could be. He showed up and helped put the playhouse on dollys, that he helped supply, helped push it across the yard to a better extraction point and made sure everything went smoothly. The crane operator was professional and precise. This was the third company I called. They were literally a third of the price that the next closest price I was quoted! That's right, 200% cheaper! They will be moving the playhouse into place for me in a couple weeks when I have the final resting place ready. I look forward to working with them again and hope I need a crane again someday as this whole experience was surprisingly delightful!

Trammel cancelled on me one hour before our scheduled appointment…read more If you're like me, searching for a top rated crane service company in the Phoenix area, read this review and avoid my mistake of calling Trammel Crane. I'm don't know if this company does good work when and IF THEY SHOW UP. Unfortunately, I WAS LEFT HIGH AND DRY an hour before our scheduled appointment time. I scheduled my appointment a week in advance with Amanda, the wife of the "mom and pop" Trammel Crane company. I had called around town and found that Trammel was a smaller, one boom truck operation that was also cheaper than other crane service companies. I told her that I needed a hot tub moved from my driveway (the drop off point from Costco delivery) to my backyard. I was told it wouldn't be a problem, so we scheduled an appointment for next week the same day as the delivery. I didn't receive a confirmation call the day before my scheduled appointment, so I called Trammel. I CALLED 24 hours in advance TO CONFIRM, but no one answered. I left a voice message asking for a call or a text to let me know we are good for the next day. Nothing. I didn't get a call back over the next 18 hours, so I called AGAIN to confirm that a crane would be at my home in about 3 hours. Five minutes later I finally had a call back from Amanda confirming that her husband, the crane operator, would arrive in a few hours as scheduled. Two hours go by and Amanda calls asking if I can have the delivery guys leave the hot tub on the truck. It's a Costco delivery, so that's not how it works, and besides the delivery already took place. She said it's fine and hung up. She called back 30 minutes later at 1pm and said, "a driver was texting and hit the back of the crane truck, so I'm not sure if there was any damage to the crane. I don't know what to tell you. My husband doesn't know if the crane is okay. I would recommend you call Smiley Crane." I asked if everyone was okay, she said her husband was fine and the driver who was texting was shaken up, but no one was injured. She said she would call me to let me know....but never really said what she would let me know. If they were still going to try and keep our appointment, if they would need to reschedule for later that day or the next...or if they just didn't want the business and had a better offer for the day. I'm assuming they forgot about my appointment or never recorded it to begin with, and instead of being honest and owning up to making a simple mistake, she lied and tried to make it work last minute. But when it didn't work out, she lied again by fabricating some story so that I WAS LEFT WITHOUT CRANE SERVICES, and then I had to scramble last minute to find someone more expensive, but also more professional. This is another tale of "CHEAPER ISN'T BETTER" AND "YOU GET WHAT YOU PAY FOR." Thankfully I didn't pay a dime to Trammel Crane for their lack of service and last minute no show. If there actually was a fender bender I hope everyone was okay. I also hope that I would have received a call from Trammel Crane after they made sure their equipment was okay. I expected that I would have gotten a call to say things happen and lets reschedule if you haven't' hired someone else. I didn't get a call though. I called Amanda at Trammel about an our after her last call to me. Giving her the benefit of the doubt, I left a voice message asking if I would be rescheduled or if I definitely needed to call another crane service. Once again, no response. If you're looking for an unprofessional crane service who doesn't return your calls and doesn't care leaving you high and dry without service, Trammel Crane is your crew. If you're looking for a crane service that answers when you call, gets you scheduled last minute despite the inconvenience, and shows up on time and ready to get the job done....call Tempe Crane. That' s who I ended up using and they did a fantastic job.

He returned our phone call, he called before he arrived to let us know he was 30 minutes out. Once here he worked to problem solve the issue for us. He was able to figure out that our control board is bad. Although we still have the same electronic issues, Kevin was able to override the control board so we can move our slide in & out and open and close the awning. He was able to get us in a situation where we can keep moving until we can get to an RV dealer for a permanent repair. Kevin communicated with us every step of the way. He is honest and reliable. Thank you, Kevin, for the wonderful service.

I needed a Winegard ConnecT swapped out for a Winegard ConnecT 2.0. I called DeShonn and asked him…read moreif he had experience with this. He said he did. The RV I needed the work done on is a newer (2022) large (45') expensive (almost $500k) coach. I told him it is a large, very expensive coach and he said no problem. He gave me an estimate of $180 dollars and I told him to come on out. He came out and got to work as I was doing things around my house. I came out to check on progress and could immediately tell he had NO IDEA what he was doing. He was about to drag the power through using the old cat5 the old system used. 2 problems with that; one: that's not where it needed to go and two: that power cable wasn't nearly long enough to even get there if that was where it needed to be. He then thought that it hooked up to the Winegard Traveler (automatic satellite dish). I stopped doing my chores and started helping him. I helped him figure out where it goes, how to hook it up, the direction it needed to face, etc...I helped him for about 2 hours before I had to go to work. I hate think what things would be like had I not been there for those 2 hours....but we are not done. I left to work and he "finished" things up. When I got home, I tested the system and it worked (phew). Because the system worked, I called him to pay and he said it will be $200 (remember he quoted $180) because he "forgot about the silicone sealant." I told him I helped him with half the job so I was good with the original $180 and paid him. Then I got to inspecting the job.... for starters, he threw out the screws from the Razr antennae knob that I needed. Also, and now the worst part, the sealant job is a COMPLETE DISASTER. He claimed to have used a "self leveling silicone." I climbed onto the roof of the coach and it looked like a pile of black spaghetti. I asked him to send me a picture of the product he used, but there was always a reason why it would be " a few minutes". I finally found an empty tube of the product in my trash can. He just squeezed plain old black silicone out of the silicone tube all over the place. Didn't even try to make it look respectable. There is absolutely no way it has sealed all the ways for moisture to get into the coach and it looks atrocious! I called him back to let him know I wasn't happy and asked if he was going to make it better. I even said I'd pay for the correct self leveling lap sealant if he would just come clean up the mess and reapply it. He said he will get back to me. Guess what? He has not responded to a single call or text since. If you want a liar (will tell you he knows what he's doing when he doesn't), who does lazy work, tries to adjust the quote, then ghosts you, he's your guy. If you want a job that has any resemblance of quality, run, do not walk, to a different person.
