After waiting a few weeks to make sure how I felt about this situation, I still feel very unhappy…read morewith the way the frame work came out. One would expect quality craftsmanship when spending $1200 to get two prints framed. Unfortunately that was not the case for me. After being weeks late of delivery date, both of the frames were dusty inside and the glass had water spots on the inside. I notice that one of my prints was creased as well. I pointed this out when picking up and was told that it came like that. This made it very awkward to argue since it's my word against hers and the print was in a tube that I opened at home but not in front of her. I asked if these things could be fixed. Came back a few days later to see that it was a little better but not perfect. I decided to take my prints and move on before they get worse. I wanted to support local and give this business a chance but I should have just taken my prints to Downtown Framers in LA. They always do a great job. I won't be back and will advise others to not take their work here.

It is your choice on how big or small you want it and how you would like to paint it as well. Just note that you should not paint the bottom of it so when they can bake it, it will be ok. Overall the session was fun and yes your hands will be a little messy from the clay but you can wash them, inside of the studio towards the back. I came with a party of four and all of us came with something unique and different. I would do this again and can't wait for my next projects. Oh yeah, you will not get it right away you have to let it stay a few days and they will leave it outside with a locker code so you can pick it up anytime after it gets baked in the oven.

During the lackluster consulting process for two pieces of art I brought in the representative said her shift was over and walked out and I had to wait for someone in the back to come out and finish. I should've known then to go and find some other place. When I came in to pick up my artwork, I waited for about four minutes before the person behind the counter looked up and acknowledged my existence. The prices were very high and the quality of work mediocre. You can see small white nicks out of the black frame where they cut the corners to fit. They could've touched that up with some black paint or something so at least it wasn't so noticeable. For the several other pieces of art that I need to have mounted and framed, I will definitely look for quotes somewhere else
