My daughter enjoyed her peaches and cream kids pancake (seasonal). Kids portion was huge!!! 3 large pancakes. The kids meal with meat, potato, eggs was a little crazy with the potato portion. There are way too many potatoes compared to everything else. They had once slice of bacon which was a little sad looking. Food is good been there lots, today they were really busy with big parties( 10,12,11) before us. We always use the waitlist. Arrived, checked in, were a party of 2, told it would be 15mins. 35 minutes go by and we're only 5th in line with 3 parties of 2 before us. I asked a different host that we've been waiting for a while when told 15mins. I don't know the protocol or logistics of sitting big parties or how those are prioritized over smaller parties. My favorite breakfast/brunch spot is Breakfast Republic in San Diego but CRAFTkitchen definitely stole my heart this morning. Today, we tried their Chicken Tinga Huevos Rancheros, Craft Benedict, Smashed Potatoes and Crème Brûlée Stuffed French Toast! I enjoyed everything we ordered. The entrees, were for the most part, flavorful and the presentation was lovely! My least favorite though was the smashed potatoes. It did need some more seasoning, in my opinion, but was still good and filling! My favorite out of everything was of course the Crème Brûlée Stuffed French Toast! I love anything Crème Brûlée, but this French toast blew me away. The inside is so soft and pillowy but has a crust of caramelized sugar. I think I teared up when it first hit my tastebuds, lol. It's so good! Aside from the amazing food, the service was amazing. Our waitress checked in on us frequently and the food only took maybe 5 minutes before they started coming to the table! We ordered iced tea and passion fruit iced tea, and we shared the Veggie Goat Cheese Frittata, side of toast with jelly of the day, and sweet potato fries with maple bacon dipping sauce. The food was great. The iced teas were fresh. The homemade jelly was strawberry and was so flavorful...loved it! The frittata was wonderful - it had goat cheese, asparagus, caramelized onions, sun dried tomatoes, and potatoes topped with arugula and a goddess dressing. Very tasty! The sweet potato fries were great...not all places make a perfect crispy outside, soft inside, perfect salty fry, but these were! The maple bacon dipping sauce was ok....not a total big flavor to me. I had the pork carnitas omelet and my dad had pancakes and bacon (that I tried some of). All of it I would highly recommend. The salsa and cream sauce on the omelet made it perfect. There can be quite a wait, as it is a smaller inside but they do have a waitlist on Yelp which you can track when it's your turn to be seated. Now down to business The food was clean- homemade ingredients, lots of vegan and gluten free options. I had the chicken and waffles with a coffee. The coffee beans were grinded in house and the cream was fresh - added some brown sugar and it was one of the best coffees I had in a while (hint if you think Starbucks is good coffee - think again ). Now the waffles were light and fluffy- three 3- inch waffles. The chicken strips were fried a golden brown - but were dry and unseasoned. We started coming into Craft Kitchen years ago for their brunch, and it's always been amazing, but since they've opened up their full bar and Dinner hours, this place has become my favorite restaurant in the Valley. The food is amazing. My favorite dinner entrees have been their steak (the chimichuri is to die for) and their Chilean Sea Bass (it's so buttery with the perfect touch of sweetness). The sides are large and can easily be shared by 2-3 people that got their own entrees. I recommend the smashed potatoes and the carrots, but I haven't had anything I've been disappointed in. All of this delicious food is capped off by their amazing bar staff. We always sit at the bar top, and Gigi is one of the best bartenders I've met. She's super kind and her drinks are always on point, as is her service. If you enjoy Old Fashioneds like I do, get the Gigi and ask for it smoked. If you come for brunch, Todd and Danny have also taken great care of us, and the chilaquiles are great. I'd love to give more brunch suggestions, but I always end up getting the chilaquiles because they are just that good. Overall, this place really stepped it up since their expansion. CRAFTkitchen in Henderson is SO GOOD!! We ordered the Ube flavored Kouign Amann, Chile Relleno Omelet, Croissant Sammy, Lemon Blueberry Pancakes (seasonal), and Organic Coffee...all for two people. Haha. After a few bites in, I wished that I had visited much sooner. Every bite was memorable and now I'm just craving for more. Surprisingly, the sweet dishes look rich & sweet in photos but are actually neither. We cleaned up those plates pretty well. I could only finish half of my savory selection, Chile Relleno Omelette, and still enjoyed the leftovers a day later. On Memorial Day holiday, the wait was approximately 1-hour. The Yelp app made life a little easier by offering a "Waitlist" button on the CRAFTKitchen page. So, while I was in the comfort of my home, I was "in line" and took the dogs for a quick walk. I've been here several times for brunch. There's always been a wait for a table (which is a good sign). This visit at 10:45a on a Tuesday required no wait. The food was lack luster. The salmon Benedict on potato cake was plated on too small of a plate. The poached egg toppled over and oozed on the table. The potato cake was burnt and black and there was entirely too much hollandaise as an attempt to cover it up. The chorizo breakfast burrito wasn't as good as it use to be. My hungry husband left more than half of it. Truffle fries saved us from having an appetite when we left. I won't be back anytime soon.
