Ive loved this place since the day I discovered it. The food is always good, the pancakes are amazing. I drive all the way from South Medford to Eagle Point because I don't care for the Central Point location. The service in CP is questionable, the servers aren't friendly so I choose to drive out to EP. I'm not sure who the male is out at this location but he is on it. Food comes out quick, order is alway right and he's very attentive. The other servers aren't so much. The food has been going downhill though and each time I eat, I immediately feel sick and end up in the restroom afterwords. I will stop in a couple more times in hopes that they work out some of the kinks because the food is good, just not sure why I always get sick afterwords... read more

We have been waiting for a while to finally go eat here. 70 miles we drove only to find the food was no better than a Denny's. The service was good the place was very clean, but the food, well let's say, was just a typical frozen food café. I thought we were going to get some good ole home cooked breakfast. We had the country fried steak, but we still do not know if it was beef or something else. The gravy was like paste with no taste. The coffee was made with water that was treated with bleach. (we could taste it) In closing I'd like to say, I just hate giving a bad review to ANY business, but they should know what people are thinking and not saying. I think all this can be fixed. Wow! The Denver omelette is A-MA-ZING!! It's made differently than what I'm use to but very delicious. I typically never finish all of my food but I did today! The wait was a bit long but well worth it, the food was freshly made. My toast had a spec of mold but by the time I got to it I was full of protein and didn't have room for carbs. I've been to this little gem several times and it hasn't disappointed! The food is American diner style with w little southern Oregon flair infused. We are typically seated quickly, unless the place is packed then it'll be a few minutes, which is worth the wait. The staff is pleasant and mindful. They do their best with substitute accommodations and do well at checking in during our visit. The portions are hearty and the average person shouldn't leave hungry! I appreciate the location as it is few and far between decent restaurants in the area. If you want great food, awesome service and a charming atmosphere come on down to this place. Parking can be a challenge but for being a "hole in the wall" type of place, that can easily be overlooked. read more

Went here for to a go order. Spacious restaurant with pleasant staff. Prices are reasonable, portions are huge and wait time was super quick to get my order. I got the chicken strips which were delicious and did not seem like standard frozen pre-made chicken strips like someone mentioned about the food. I'm pretty picky about that kind of stuff. They were just a tad too salty. Not a huge fan of their soft French fries. Not even a little bit crispy. Will be back to try pancakes. They have every kind of Pancake you could ever dream of. I wasn't impressed. I ordered the traditional eggs Benedict, and my eggs were undercooked! I was starving, so I ate one and left the other. The potatoes are dry and over cooked. The waitress was nice and took the eggs Benedict off the bill, when I complained that the egg was under cooked, so that was good. My dad said his fried eggs were slightly undercooked as well. We had the Meat Lovers Skillet and the Pork chops and Eggs, both were Excellent Large portions! Coffee was Really Good. Great staff and prices. The only thing was the hard bench seats. The booth seats were made by a local carpenter and while the look of barn wood is cute it's not the most comfortable. I was told they will soon be upholstered. The food here is a five, but the whole experience is what I'm rating. We drove into the parking lot to find it full with NOWHERE to turn a truck around. Three people followed us in and we were trapped and could not back out. EVERYONE had to back out and the last guy was brain dead. So in all we fooled around for at least 15 minutes trying to get out of there and find other parking. Who builds a one way parking lot? I went in and asked for an approximate wait time and was told about ten minutes. A half hour later we finally got seated. We shared eggs Benedict. We are old and can't eat so much. Most restaurants divide the meal for us, but this restaurant didn't. They gave me a plate the size of a coffee saucer for my half. I don't think they like people who share. So, while the food was very good, we most likely won't return. read more

I ordered a cheeseburger and my wife order a two egg breakfast. The food here is all bagged/boxed/frozen food from Costco or restaurant supplier - cafeteria fare. If thats what your after well then your in luck. Hash browns from a bag or box that taste like soap. Pre made burger patties. Standard frozen fries from a bag. The staff was attentive and nice. Everything prepared as ordered. If you check the menu their prices are identical to the 62 Diner, so I will go there and get a much better burger (Oh and check the 5 star reviewers. One RM. left a review for sushi place in Tokyo and a beer hall in Cologne Germany hours apart and a review of the Medford OR Mens Warehouse. This is about Crackin' & Stackin" in Central Point...had lunch there yesterday and left half of a tri-tip dip sandwich on the table when I left as the meat was so spicy hot it burned my tongue & the roof of my mouth plus the dip tasted like 100% salted soy. The potato salad was dry and had little or no flavor.
