We were seated right away by a friendly young gal with unbrushed purple hair and an unsightly septum piercing. We sat in a booth with a pretty view in solid wood benches. I'm a bit fluffy and was not incredibly comfortable. We were served our drinks by Goth/rave girl, and waited 10 minutes for a polite young man to take our orders. We waited another 16 minutes, then our food arrived, but not at the same time. That's what I noticed about every table, 2-6 people, it didn't matter, and usually a several minute lag. Half the table would be eating, the other half waiting. Perhaps server trays could be useful at this point? At one point there were 3 empty tables and people waiting in the lobby and parking lot. I got the veggie omlet with home fries and sourdough toast. All fresh veggies. I need to start asking what type of onion is used. They use red onion and I'm not a fan so I had to do some picking before I could eat. Everything was good. My companion got the Denver omlet, hash browns, and subbed biscuits and gravy for his toast. Absolutely love this place! We've always gotten great service and amazing food with huge portions, and every time I've ordered "cremated" bacon it always comes out perfectly. We love to get takeout for our company meetings from here, because we know they were always make sure our orders are perfect and it's been a great way for us to showcase local businesses when we have guests from out of town! This is a breakfast/lunch place that just opened. There were people waiting to be seated when I arrived just before noon on a Sunday. There is an extensive variety of pancakes on the menu; I ordered the standard buttermilk cake (one) with two eggs and sausage. The over-easy eggs were cooked just right; the link sausage was the standard high-fat kind. The thin pancake covered the dinner plate and the cake tasted of cooking-oil. There were the usually syrup and plastic containers of jam available. For a "pancake" restaurant, the cakes were disappointing. On the plus side, the portions are huge. The coffee was standard restaurant fare. The wait staff were attentive and efficient. The menu includes hot and cold sandwiches. read more

We're from out of state on a road-trip. Stayed at a nearby VRBO ranch house that recommended this place so we gave it a try. SO HAPPY WE DID! FOOD: Extremely tasty and beyond plentiful. Five in our group...we each got something different and shared tastes with each other. Every dish was just as good as the next. Hubcap sized pancakes...freshly squeezed OJ that you can actually see being squeezed. SERVICE: Quick & accommodating with special requests without making a big issue of them. STAFF: Theresa was absolutely beyond amazing. One of, if not the best, waitress any of us have ever had. Our first experience here was so enjoyable there was no question where we were going to have breakfast the next day. THE NEXT DAY: We had different items off the menu this time and they did not disappoint. Plus....we got Theresa again! Yay! Finally a palace with gluten-free options and good food. I am so happy we decided to give this restaurant visit. The staff at the Eagle Point restaurant are the friendliest and most happy servers I have come across in a long time. They made my visit such a fun experience. Since recently moving to the EP area I will be sure to make this a regular place to eat. Lots of vegetarian and healthy fresh options to choose from. This place is a great breakfast and lunch spot. They are famous for their pancakes, but to be honest, I have no idea why. Pancakes are heavy and not very good other than the amazing variety and tons of sugar that is put on them. However, skip the pancakes and everything else on the menu is delicious! We've been disappointed at how long we've had to wait; not just to be seated, but to receive our food. The food is tasty, and they serve good portions, but you have to decide if it's worth the wait. We attempted to have breakfast recently and waited for 35 minutes before we finally left because there were several tables available in the main dining room (behind the front counter/desk) that could've been used and yet we (along with others that were waiting) never were seated. And several of the customers that were already seated in the main waiting room were still waiting for their food that whole time (35 minutes). So many people waiting, waiting, waiting! Unfortunately, several customers/families walked out at about the same time we did. In addition, a customer came in and said she'd been trying to call all morning to place a "to-go" order. The staff member commented, "they were busy". The woman tried calling again (as she stood in front of the staff member) and commented that the phone was STILL busy. The staff member admitted to placing her phone in "busy" mode. Oh boy, another frustrated customer! Also, there were three young men in aprons (busboys, maybe?) standing behind us for most of that time and they didn't seem to know what to do. It was a very odd experience that left a lot of customers unhappy and frustrated. read more

We ordered take out this morning this was my first time trying this place. I ordered the California Benedict with ham instead of bacon and I added a half order of biscuits and gravy in place of home fries... My meal was absolutely amazing! The hollandaise was perfect, my eggs were poached perfect, I would have liked a little more avacado but my meal was amazing I highly recommend trying it. My biscuits and gravy hit the spot! The homemade fluffy southern style biscuit smothered with homemade country sausage gravy was perfectly seasoned -the sausage they use is great! This was a wonderful combination of both comfort food and perfectly balanced flavor. My wife ordered the Chicken, Mushroom, spinach, and swiss cheese omelette which she added onion to. She was very pleased with her selection, she did say it needed more cheese and next time she will all for cheese inside not just on top. She chose home fries for her side and added a half side of biscuits and gravy. I'm excited to try the rest of their menu, they even have lunch choices that sound great. It's nice to have a breakfast and lunch spot in Eagle Point -especially such a yummy place with GREAT customer service. This was my first visit and it was so good! The atmosphere was welcoming and it was very clean (important to me). The orange juice was extremely fresh and the coffee was not overly strong. I ordered the chicken fried steak skillet and it was to die for. So much flavor.
