Bacon & Egg Hashbrown Casserole Cold, stale, literally just slapped it together, $20 for this? I would've blamed it on Uber Eats but they had it to me damn near right away. I'm sorry but this was honestly ridiculous.

If you want a char broil steak please visit Cracker Barrel. Shameful. I waited 40 minutes for a to go order for a steak I could not eat. Plus it wasn't during their busy hours.

Always love the Cracker Barrel. Everyone I visit Ft. Leonardwood, I end up coming here. This time around I tried their hash brown skillet. It was good but super filling! Our service was also pretty good. I was not disappointed.

It's been years since I came here. Still the same ol Cracker Barrel and I love it. I ordered the Cheesy Bacon Homestyle Fried Chicken with cole slaw and fried okra. I ate everything on my plate. The biscuits were so warm and soft, I ate both. My only criticism is the waitress. She took forever for our waters, she only refilled once and that was the only time she came to our table. She had the table next to us and they waited way longer to get their water then they had to wait to order food. Other then that, it was a great experience. We will definitely be visiting again. The restaurant was clean and had old decorations that gave it a rustic look to it. I just enjoyed the old time feeling again.

Cracker Barrel never lets us down! Hot, flavorful and delicious food. There hollandaise sauce is our favorite too! They do not have flavored coffee creamer which does let me down every time.

He had a turkey club and I had a turkey avocado sandwich on multigrain. For sides we had cucumber salad, potato salad, and mac & cheese. A word of surprise, the potato salad is served warm, but it was really tasty. The only disappointment was the mac & cheese, which was grainy and soup-like with very overcooked noodles in it. They had no discernible shape and almost seemed like egg noodles oddly enough. We enjoyed our drinks, sandwiches and salads very much.

Followed by a Monte Cristo. The bread was so light and fluffy. The saltiness of the meat with the sweetness of the bread and sugar with a little spread of raspberry preserves delighted the tastebuds. The side of fruit was large and seasonally appropriate. You order at the counter, where I think the owner was taking the orders and the accent definitely sounded authentic German like the name of the restaurant. She was lovely. Everything is made fresh so sit back and relax and the dining area is designed perfect for that with couches, cozy chairs and comfortable seats at the tables. I looked up what the name means: "Drachenfutter" is also a term used to describe gifts or treats that someone might bring home for their significant other when they feel guilty about coming home late or drunk. True to the "gift" part of the name, you can take yummy homemade treats home with you and they do have a section of gifts you can buy. A nice gem of a place along Historic Route 66.

Pro tip: please check their facebook page for updated hours, contact information, and menu of the day. I stopped by to place a carry out order. The team was so welcoming and friendly. That perfect sincere hospitality you don't see too much anymore. The space is absolutely adorable and comfortable. When my order was ready, I was handed a bag that easily weighed five pounds! I went with the blackberry fried chicken. This is like nothing I've ever had. The chicken was super crispy like Korean fried chicken and just covered in a sweet sticky blackberry sauce. The chicken was well seasoned and juicy. Every single bite was perfect. I went with the macaroni and cheese and greens for my sides. Both came served in generous portions of deliciousness. The greens might be a little spicy if you don't like heat. My order came with two cornbread muffins. The meal was a very generous and a filling one. I also picked a slice of peach cobbler cheesecake from the dessert case. While tasty, I would have preferred one or the other. Both cheesecake and cobbler in one dessert was just a little too much for me. But delicious nonetheless. I can see why this spot comes with such great accolades for food service and hospitality.

Not only was the food amazing, but the service was also impeccable. The waitress was so nice, and she gave us history on the restaurant and her family. There were pictures of her family on the walls, and they even had a tree branch with wooden portraits of family members (family tree). It was so cool!! The food was so good!! We had the chicken wings, greens, mac and cheese, yams, and catfish. The portion sizes were huge, so we had food to go. A person in our party had the red beans and rice and fried corn and she said the red beans and rice was some of the best she has ever had, and the sauce on the fried corn was good. The cook's husband came out and talked to us at the end of our meal and gave us some background on how he was also in the military, retired and is now working at the restaurant with his wife along with his government job. Everybody was just so nice and welcoming, and it definitely was a great experience. The prices for the food was very affordable considering the portion sizes. We have to go back in January for her next graduation. We will definitely be going back to eat there. I can taste it already!!

When I pulled up to the ordering menu, it seemed to be broken because it kept repeating, "Sorry, we are closed." It took about 10 minutes for a female employee to ask what I wanted to order. She had a hard time understanding English, and I had to repeat myself multiple times. After my order was placed, there was a long wait. Twenty-five minutes later, a lady opened the side window and, in the most unprofessional manner, said my order and reached out for my form of payment. I requested a receipt, but just like every other time, their machine was broken. The reason I requested a receipt was because the price always changes, and I always order the same items. One person gave me a military discount once; after that, another staff member stated there is no military discount or that the meal value has to be $30 or more for a military discount to be applied. This time, my order was $33, and I asked them to apply the military discount, but she said they don't offer a military discount. I noticed the receipt they couldn't produce was on the counter with a tip written on it. They are giving themselves unauthorized tips. When I returned home, my food was cold. The refried beans tasted like horse manure. I noticed there was a thick glob of spit in my refried beans. Please don't order or eat from Antonios Mexican Fresh. Look at their restaurant/food reports. I am not super familiar with German food, but like to try things that are different. I wasn't sure what to order, so I ordered a Schnitzel Trio for $22.95. Pricey I know, but was here on work training and knew I'd get a per diem of sorts. They first brought out a small salad with a couple German style green beans, and other cabbage themed side dish. All was tasty. The trio came with a Cordon Bleu schnitzel, Jäger Schnitzel, and St. Maritza Schnitzel, and instead of a choice of potato, I chose the Spaetze which is like noodle. It also came with a bowl of brown gravy with mushrooms, which is poured over the noodles. All of the schnitzels were good with the Cordon Bleu and Jäger Schnitzels being my favorite. The gravy made the noodles, otherwise the noodles by themselves would not have a lot of flavor. It also came with a roll, but roll was hard and pretty dry. Overall, it was a nice experience and I left full. It is a bit pricey and not somewhere I go on my own as I regularly live on a frugal budget! I had the trio and a water and the total bill was $24.84 before tip! Great friendly service and I hope the continue to do well. It sounded like they just opened for more days out of the week.
