The food was great, but service from our specific server was lacking. We dined in with our allergy baby, perused the allergy menu and had to clarify multiple times that our daughter cannot have milk along with other foods. We specifically requested a water for our child and had to wait for straw for everyone (especially the kids cup) and received only two straws leaving us missing one. Our server was not very good. Drinks were left unfilled and we had to ask for coffee refills and have it filled by another server. The food was good ol' Cracker Barrel quality. Pancakes were perfectly sized and with crispy edges, fries were piping hot and the bacon was delightful. The store was stocked beautifully with cute trinkets and treats and Janet was helpful.

Came by here before hitting up Dollywood and had a real Hardy breakfast. We were sat instantly, and I entertained myself by failing miserably at the peg game that this restaurant is known for. Our server was so sweet, we all had the same meal, the grandma sampler and it was divine. We also had an order of biscuits and jam. Everything was cooked very fresh, of course lots of butter, syrup and sugar, but delicious nonetheless. The iced coffee was also made just right, when I asked her for a to go cup to take the rest of mine, she brought out an entirely new coffee. Everybody was really sweet! I loved it here, when I come back to Tennessee, I'll be back again.

We like the cracker barrel experience. Get breakfast, look around the shop for cool knickknacks, candies and such. Food was just like any other cracker barrels'.

This store is conveniently located and easy to access. The merchandise/shopping area is much larger than average CB locations with a great costing selection. Courtney was my waitress and was very pleasant. I was pleased with my experience with her. The Broccoli Cheddar Chicken special was fantastic!

Chicken n' Dumplins

dumpling were good the chicken was DISGUSTING. DONT get them or you will regret it. do not recommend it.if i could give this place zero stars i would. dont know what i just ate.

That is the gravy, it's cold and a jello like substance.

This was the worst food I've ever had from Cracker Barrel. I am from out of town and wanted something good. So naturally, my first thought went to Cracker Barrel, big mistake. I have eaten at so many and never had 1 complaint. I ordered the same thing I usually order, Country Fried Steak, sweet potato, and baked apples. The gravy was like pudding and cold, disgusting. The steak was over fried, dry, and hard as heck to cut. My sweet potato was cold, as was the baked apples. Also, no butter for my potato. We also ordered 2 Country Fried Steak Meals and another meal . We only received 1 Country Fried meal. This whole experience was horrible. I had to mark at least 1 star to be able to post this, that's the only reason.

8/8/20 I came here for breakfast with my friend. This is my favorite chain restaurant of all time. We were seated quickly and taken great care of by our waitress. We both ordered the big breakfast and everything came as ordered. I will most definitely eat here again. Thank you for a great experience!

The service was the best ever. The rolls were magical. I didn't prefer the country fried steak. It just wasn't to my taste. I can't specify the real reason. It was a consistent pleasant experience. I would return again. No real complaints at all.

My first time at a Cracker Barrel, my husband got nostalgic seeing one next to our hotel, reminded him of his college days, so we had to come here for breakfast. The place was extremely crowded Sunsay morning for brunch, had about a 30 min wait, that I happily spent in the store. After we were seated, it took us sometime to decide what we wanted, they have an expansive menu, but our server was friendly and helpful. My husband got the Sunrise sampler, and I got the Egg-in-the-basket. We loved both the items we ordered, specifically liked that we got to try a bunch of items with the Sunrise sampler. The biscuits and gravy were so good. I had not had fried apples before, I liked it a lot. We also got lemonade, perfect refresher on a hot summer day, it was so good. They gave me a refill in a to go cup as we were leaving.

Mama's Farmhouse - Fried Chicken Salisbury steak pork tenderloin

From the moment we sat down, the food just kept coming . fried chicken that was crispy and juicy, fluffy biscuits, creamy mac and cheese, and sides that tasted straight out of someone's grandma's recipe box. Nothing felt rushed, and the staff was genuinely warm and attentive the whole time. And they had fun games to play outside while you wait. We played cornhole and ping pong. It was alot of fun. What really made it special was the atmosphere loud in the best way,we all were going back for seconds. You don't leave hungry, and you definitely don't leave disappointed. If you're in Pigeon Forge and want comfort food done right, this place is a must.

The online menu gave plenty of eye candy and we were absolutely starving by the time we arrived Friday evening. The staff was very attentive and kind. It's clear that this place is fully operated by word-of-mouth and return guests. It's a huge establishment with several rooms by big fireplaces and Lazy Susan's to pass around the family style meal. The menu was a little difficult to navigate so many options laid out, but only certain options available per day. So ultimately, we were not able to order exactly what we wanted, but we ordered what was available for Friday, which was the Salisbury steak, fried fish, and fried chicken. All of these meats came in a small portion to split amongst our three people, and with unlimited sides. Some of the sides were pretty impressive. I would have to say my favorite side was the broccoli casserole, followed by the mashed potatoes and gravy, which were real potatoes! The mac & cheese was more on the creamy side versus the gooey cheesy side. Unfortunately, some of our chicken was undercooked, and the skin was very thin and not too crispy. The fish was decent, not dried out whatsoever, which is a pretty good compliment. While my coworker said that the chicken and dumplings were her favorite, I failed to enjoy them :( All in all, this was not our favorite restaurant from our trip this weekend and it appears that big groups and big families really do enjoy dining at this establishment.

From the moment the apple fritters and apple butter hit the table, we knew we were in for something special, they really set the tone for what turned out to be a great meal. Her tone, attitude, and the way she spoke to me made me feel uncomfortable the entire time. It felt like we were a burden just for being there. I ended up completely losing my appetite because of how mean and cold Marsha was, and I actually left the table crying over it. (I work in healthcare so I have thick skin). Going out to eat is supposed to be enjoyable, not something that leaves you feeling embarrassed and humiliated. I understand everyone can have bad days, but there's no reason to treat customers with that level of disrespect. I was asking a simple question of getting an order to go and about the lunch. I really hope management takes customer service more seriously because no one should leave a restaurant crying and feeling the way I did.

Chubby's Restaurant - Smash Burger!!

Chubby's Restaurant

Chubby's is a classic restaurant that offers American comfort food. The great dinner feel of the…read moreplace is an excellent representation of the bygone era of the traditional dinner. It has a real down home feel. The place offers burgers (Mushroom Swiss, BBQ Burger), sandwiches (Cheesesteaks, Reuben, BLT, Chicken Sandwiches with Ranch/Buffalo options), and hearty baskets with fried chicken, cod, or shrimp, plus breakfast served all day, desserts (chocolate pie!), and options like pork chops or steak. They have someone thing for everyone. Everything is cooked to ordered. We started off with deep fried deviled eggs. My wife had the Beef Stroganoff. While I had the House Smash Burger. The stroganoff is served in a wide, shallow bowl that showcases the sauce's glossy sheen and the generous scatter of sautéed mushrooms. Steam carries a rounded, savory bouquet: beef-forward notes, toasty browned butter, and the faint acid of a finishing touch -- likely a splash of vinegar, wine, or lemon -- that hints the sauce will be bright rather than cloying. The presentation is simple and effective: no unnecessary frills, just clear evidence that plate composition exists to showcase the food's strengths. The sauce is the star: a glossy, velvety emulsion built on a brown stock backbone, enriched with sour cream (or a light cultured cream), and tempered with mustard and a touch of acidity. The mushrooms are properly caramelized, offering an earthy counterpoint and slight chew that complements the tender beef. Onions are present but not intrusive; garlic and a whisper of thyme or parsley frame the dish without flattening the primary flavors. Chubby's pairs the stroganoff with broad egg noodles -- they're al dente-yielding and capture the sauce in their folds, which makes each mouthful a composed, layered bite rather than separate elements awkwardly forced together. The Smash Burger was an equal masterpiece as well. In an era when burgers can feel formulaic and predictable, the SMASH Triple Burger with Chubby Sauce at Chubby's Restaurant stands out not just as a meal, but as a culinary statement, mine was constructed of three thin-pressed beef patties -- each seared to achieve that iconic lace of caramelization -- deliver an intoxicating aroma of grilled beef that primes the palate for something special. The smash technique here isn't a gimmick; it's a masterstroke that intensifies the beef's flavor while maintaining juiciness through every layer, a testament to precise heat management on the griddle. The Chubby Sauce, a house specialty that earns its name with rich, tangy complexity, serves as the burger's soul. It marries creamy umami with a whisper of sweetness and a balanced acidity that cuts through the savory heft of the triple stack. This sauce is not merely a condiment -- it's the architectural glue that binds texture and taste, elevating each bite into a chorus of complementary notes. What makes this experience remarkable was how it balances bold indulgence with thoughtful restraint: the trio of patties makes a statement, yet the burger never feels overwhelmingly heavy. Each layer interacts harmoniously, and the Chubby Sauce is nothing short of inspired -- tangy yet creamy, bold yet nuanced. We topped it all off with pie. My wife had the peanut butter while I opted for the Apple pie was our desert. Dessert at Chubby's often arrives with the quiet confidence of a house specialty, and the both the Apple & Peanut Butter Pie is no exception. If you think you've had every version of apple pie, this one will surprise you. Chubby's Apple Pie is warm, comforting, and brilliantly balanced. The apples are tender and spiced just right, the crust is buttery and flaky. The peanut butter pie has a subtle, savory richness that keeps the dessert from being overly sweet. It's indulgent without being heavy and memorable in the best way. An absolute must-order if you save room for dessert. This was a great dining experience and in a tourist dominated area, this place stands out as real down home cooking that your grandmother made. Highly recommend, this is one the most stop sites if you are in the area.

It had been awhile since we were there so I called to see an outside table was available. They told me probably in 10-15 minutes. Knowing we had been there earlier and we had dogs, they wouldn't hold it for us. Food was great. Their tenderloin could easily serve 4 people. The fried deviled eggs are excellent!

But that's just my preference. - I kinda changed my mind, the fries are pretty good - the water is flavorless, which was very disappointing.
