This Cracker Barrel food and serviced was pretty amazing. We joined the wait online while we were driving about 10-15 minutes away. It was a Sunday morning so it estimated us at about a 30 minute wait for a group of 3 people. Once we got there we checked in, and it took about 10 minutes or so for our table to be ready so we walked around the store. They called our name and sat down at our table. We ordered our drinks and soon after we ordered our food. The food came out pretty quick and meanwhile they kept coming by to make sure we had enough coffee and gave us refills. They were very packed that morning and still had amazing service. By far, one of my best Cracker Barrel experiences.

Always good but always busy. They seem to be embracing more change adding alcohol to the menus and new food choices, but is that really why we come to Cracker Barrel? Just pass the biscuits and keep things fresh and good. This location gets a lot of interstate traffic and the parking lot is difficult to get in and out of. We were seated after a short wait. Service was slow but they were slammed on a Saturday morning. The new lighter breakfast specials seem to be a good value. My wife got the egg sandwich and I got the smokehouse breakfast. Longer than expected wait for food and my coffee cup stayed dry, but like I said they were packed and the wait staff were all working hard. When we finally got our food it was good as we expected from CB. A nice Saturday morning date with my sweetie.

20 minutes before we ever seen a waitress after placing the order 52 minutes to get food food was cold food was wrong. Carrots were completely Rall you could not bite into them. We had to ask for syrup for pancakes three times we had to ask for A1 steak sauce three times we had asked for our bread three times, probably the sorriest restaurant experience we have had in a long time the manager comped our $70 food order the manager also comped the $200 order that was sitting behind us. He then comp the $35 table to the left of us, and when we left, there was people at the Rakesh register, raising Cane about their food as well. What a crap night.

I was on a road trip to Alabama so if course we got hungry. I was craving a pancake and Cracker Barrel are the only ones that I will eat other than my own. We right in and were seated immediately. No waiting. That's a good thing. Our server was kool. We gave him a pretty big order and he nailed it . I had Uncle Hershel plate. It was perfect and so was my one pancake. Nice and crisp on the edges. It's the only place I know that make pancakes with crispy edges and the best syrup. For me there were no cons on this visit.

    Happy Birthday !

Thick, tender corned beef, perfectly melted Swiss cheese, tangy sauerkraut, and a rich house-made Thousand Island dressing, all pressed between buttery, toasted rye bread. Every bite was balanced, hearty, and packed with flavor--easily one of the best Reubens I've had, sports bar or otherwise. Add in a solid beer selection, well-made drinks, and consistently great food across the menu, and this place earns a true five-star rating. Whether you're here for the game, the food, or both, this sports bar delivers on all fronts. I'll definitely be back.

So we thought we would treat our son and his wife (new parents of a 2 month old) for a nice dinner out as a family (sans baby). Service was slower than normal, but that wasn't the real issue. Our entrees were delivered before our soup and salads. They offered to take our entrees away and "keep them warm" until after our soup and salads came out. So we agreed. Our son's French onion soup was delivered just luke warm - not even hot. The salads were fine, though. Our daughter-in-law's steak was ordered medium rare, but it came out rare so it had to be sent back. Our son's chicken fingers were also undercooked and had to be sent back, but only after our son had already eaten some of the undercooked chicken. I ordered the signature "Appalachian Grill" dish and the potatoes were burnt. At this point there were so many issues that we asked to talk to the manager and he offered to remove the signature dish from the bill. Our son and his wife were so turned off that they couldn't even eat their "corrected" entrees. The bill came and it was over $150. The only food that we actually ate was the Pickles and Pups appetizer and 3 salads. I asked for the servers and managers names and made it clear that I was going to write a review and that we would not be coming back. After we placed our credit card on the check, the owner came out to our table and began to cuss us out. When I told him I would be writing a reivew, his response was "I am the king of 1 star reviews" and asked us to leave. So we grabbed our credit card and proceeded to leave. After we left the restaurant he approached us at our car and proceeded to threaten us and even called me a "punk ass bitch." I should've called the police becasue we were already outside at our car and it looked like he was going to physically attack us. Our son and his wife were waiting for us outside and witnessed his tirade. Our daughter-in-law was terrified that the ower was going to get physically violent. There was no reason for him to follow us outside and continue to berate us at our vehicle as we were in the process of leaving. Either the owner was intoxicated or he needs to go to anger management. I regret not calling the police.

They no longer leave carafes of water on the tables as a regular customer complained it was unsanitary. A shame. They should just wash the carafes after each use. Anyway... I ordered a burger with an extra patty. No bun, with cheese, onions and mushrooms as I recall. Here were the two oddities. The meal was served with a single patty and the second patty came out 5 minutes later. Made me think they forgot. Also, the 2 patties were different. One was cooked perfectly and moist. The second was cooked a bit more (but not terribly more) but was dry. The asparagus was fantastic. I do recommend though. Cool spot.
