Be prepared to wait a while. I just sat at the drive thru speaker for 4 minutes. Nobody said anything and nobody was in line this time. Last Saturday I waited in line for 20 minutes to get a sausage gravy biscuit. I would have said no thank you and just left but I at the part of the line that you can't escape from because of that curb People are nice just short staffed and slow. Really good biscuits! We had the large ham egg and cheese... a nice thin sliced country ham, not too salty! The eggs were fluffy, and the biscuits were perfect, and quite large (they have two sizes) We also tried the sausage gravy... very good. The sausage they use has a strong sage flavor. A couple miles off 75, but well worth getting away from the interchange. We visited on a Sunday morning, and were pleased to see that the local fire department eats here. We ate inside. Order was filled quickly. My biscuit platter with eggs and chicken was tasty. The hash brown was oily. However, the place was filthy. The absolute worst service I have ever had at a restaurant in the past 20 years. Drove over two hours for a wrestling event, and found out Cartersville had a Martin's, I was so excited because the other locations of Martin's that I have eaten at in the past have been amazing. However, the one in Cartersville messed up my order when I bring it to their attention, they called me a liar swore they put my food in there so I end up spending $13 and some change for a Dr Pepper and some onion rings that were so greasy I could not even stomach them. The people who run this business are horrible at what they do. I pull in around 9am and wait literally 25 minutes to get up to the speaker only to find a hand written cash only note. How frustrating. Hey geniuses why don't you put a sign up in front of the store so people do t have to wait 25 minutes before being turned away. What would chick dial have done in this case? Well here's is what they did recently they gave everyone who wanted to pay with a card their meal for free. Martins you could learn a lot from chick dial. Your customer service sucks. Get better managers and start caring about your customers and do something about those damn long wait times in line. read more

Be ready to wait 30 minutes at the drive thru for one of their famous breakfast biscuits. Alas, I had to try one when in Cartersville. Place looks tiny & more like an IHOP (see picture). The line of cars was out onto the main road and ppl were trying to cut in from the gas station nextdoor so things can get awkward bc ppl get hangry. Others used the walk up window but not sure that's any faster. All in all the prices were fair and the order was accurate. The egg biscuit with OJ was delicious but not worth my time really. Today was my first visit, and sadly my last. I went inside the establishment to look through the menu and place my order to-go. I waited for twenty minutes while the staff argued about my order. When my order was complete they verified my six total items. I got all the way home and they missed an entire meal. The food I did receive was disappointing to say the least. Fresh should not be used as a ploy to get people in the door. If the staff would pay more attention to orders and not whose turn it is to get a cigarette it might help complete orders. read more

Very unimpressed! Heard so much about it even saw the advertised picture of a big fluffy biscuit ! I ordered two biscuits and upon opening mine saw a flat biscuit that was granted quite big. But that's where it stops. No fluffiness at all. It looked like it had been smushed in order to make it bigger. Then it was a ham egg and cheese biscuit. When I opened it up I could not believe the amount of egg. There was so little egg inside that in order to get it to cover the bun I had to spread it like jelly! And still it would not cover the biscuit! The ham was so fatty that I constantly had to chew and pull fat out of my mouth! It was so difficult to eat that I finally gave up. My daughter came down to get her biscuit and I told her about what I was experiencing with mine. She had had one before so it was very surprised at the little bit of egg that was in mine. When I showed her she was in shock so she said let me check mine. When she opened hers had double the egg that mine had no problems with hers at all! She had a steak egg and cheese biscuit which she said was fine but she could see my complaint that it was a flat biscuit. She said it did look as if they mushed it to make it bigger. It was definitely no fluffy biscuit. I won't be going back here I'm very underwhelmed and don't see how there's such a long line for this biscuit. I will go back to several other places for biscuits that have nice big fluffy biscuits but never will I return here for a biscuit with egg to the amount that I have to try to spread the egg with a knife to try to get it to cover the biscuit! read more

terrible! the customer service was awful. we waited for over 15 minutes for luke warm food for them to tell us they don't do refunds. then i seen a worker use the restroom, has gloves on, came out with the same gloves and didn't change them. to add on top of this chum bucket they have a 81 from the health department and everything was dirty on the inside. awful experience overall! read more

I normally don't do reviews but considering I used to work for martins and love their biscuits I wanted one. Well convenient I moved right down the road from one. I stopped order smoked links and a large steak on a small biscuit. Nothing to extreme well I pull out I get 3 miles down the rd start opening my food. My links were practically raw and I have a small tenderloin biscuit. I'm very disappointed after sitting there for over 10 minutes already running late for work. Always loved Martin's always will. If there's no line wrapped around the building something is going wrong. Didn't want to sit and wait for drive thru so went in and is way smaller than any of the other locations I've seen but even with a line out the door waiting 15 minutes to place my order and receive my food before I could finish adding cream and sugar to my coffee is good for me. I have been here twice mainly because my wife tried it with a friend and liked it so we went together and got some breakfast. The food is really cheap. I have tried the breakfast mixer bowl and a bacon egg and cheese biscuit. It was ok. They have a food safety score of 82 B. There is like one small table inside if you want to eat there but chances are someone will already be sitting there. If you want a cheap ass breakfast this is your place. The drive thru line gets backed up quickly. Good luck trying to find the end of the line. Dont even think of sitting inside at their one table unless you show up when they open. Update : 12/1/17 Food safety score is now 90A. The cashiers suck. I was in there for 10 minutes trying to buy a small coffee. This place is not very efficient at all.
