    The bad sausage

It was Horrible the ham was salty just the taste made our blood pressure shoot up and the sausage was old tasted like a month old that was the worst experience ever it was horrible and the one reason why I personally think that i hope is better is because I like to get chocolate chip pancakes and I can eat the outside before I get to the chocolate chip and they still taste good my 6 year old threw up because the eggs were so bad and they had to put some Rosemary in the sausage but yeah the experience is horrible

When I'm in the mood for American food, CB is always a good choice. I've seen plenty of negative reviews about the food and the service. But that is not my experience. The food has always been good, and portion size is usually more than I can eat. Most of the servers are knowledgeable and experienced, and will provide you with good service. But again, always check your receipt to make sure it's right. There were 2 extra charges on my bill. One was supposed to be free, and the other was something that we did not order. The cashier did take care of the problem, but still, always check. Hmmm, CB breakfast tomorrow sounds good!

We usually do breakfast at Cracker Barrel's. Traveling so we had an early dinner. My entree pot roast was delicious. My husband did not love his country fried steak. Steak was not seasoned and gravy was like wallpaper paste. Greens were tasteless. Great service !!! Great breads

Melted mushy hash brown casserole. Not crispy like picture in menu.

Sadly disappointed in a new menu item. Today I tried the hash brown casserole/pot roast shepherds pie. Claimed to have mashed potatoes on the bottom with roast, carrots, and peas and a hash brown crust. Waitress was sweet and efficient. Restrooms were clean. Payout line moved okay for lunch hour.

Nice and cozy feel, walking into this restaurant on a cold Sunday morning the week of Thanksgiving! The staff were caring and welcoming. From the shop to the restaurant they were very kind. Our waiter was really helpful and checked in on us frequently, made sure we were taken care of. The food was great and yummy! Overall felt like a homey experience, like we were eating in someone's cabin. Would come back!

I've purchased almost every game in the Tiny Arcade line. Now this one is mine!

Classic timeless interior feels, cool shop with lots of fun and interesting things, nice staff, but sadly inconsistent food and drinks.

Located on the second story of a beautiful building in downtown Abilene sits Grain Theory, a brewpub and coffee shop towering over the city. It is a mixed indoor-outdoor space with plenty of shaded outdoor and cooled indoor seating. Looking at their tap list, my girlfriend and I were impressed by their unique beers to try. I started with the Strawberry Peach Tonic (Fruited Hard Seltzer) and she had a Bella Rose (Rosé IPA). Both were served in cool glasses, with mine being tall and skinny and hers being almost like a wine glass. Shocking to nobody, mine was quite fruity while her Rosé IPA was hoppy with an underlying rosé flavor. Next, I ordered their Oktoberfest (German Märzen) and she had their Season's End (Belgian Dubbel). She described her drink as tasting like a Biscoff cookie. My Oktoberfest was quite malty, and I was a big fan. To close, we both ordered their Luscent (Belgian Table Beer) because small beers are back in fashion and I wanted to try it. It was obviously very light but still had a good flavor that was very bready. Nice and easy to close out our drinks with. They also have food and coffee that we didn't try, but the food looked sensational from what we saw others eating. They also have plenty of board games and card games to play while you're at the brewery and many beers available to take to-go. My only minor complaint is the lack of TVs in the brewery. Maybe it's a purposeful decision, but Texas Tech was playing football, and it would be a great place to watch the game. The bartenders are very friendly and willing to let you try and sample as many beers as you need to make your decision. Grain Theory feels like the kind of place every small Texas city wishes it had. I am very excited to come back here and try more beers, especially with how excellent the space is. RIYL: Cool-shaped beer glasses or a rooftop bar

We also had the Wayfinder beer and a double express (yes, I had both). The fries were perfectly balanced with a touch of heat and a hint of blue cheese flavor. With the Wayfinder Pilsner, it was AMAZING! The bratwurst was traditional in its meat, with sweetness added to the onions. Mustard was mild but added the right amount of flavor. Altogether, I would eat here once a week if I lived in the community. Delicious and highly recommended!

We got a burger and fried chicken the Nashville Hot. I was skeptical of the Nashville when I saw it was a dry rub but the heat and flavor blew me away. It was my favorite part of the entire meal. If you're a spice fan, this is the move! Christin deserves a shout-out all her own. Customer service can make or break a dining experience, and she absolutely made ours. Attentive, welcoming, and genuinely on top of everything she has the kind of service that makes you feel like a regular even on your first visit. If Kristin's working the floor when you go, you're in great hands. The restaurant has large, comfortable seating that can easily accommodate groups of any size. Whether you're rolling in with a party of ten or just a couple of friends, you won't be crammed into a corner waiting for a table to open up, the layout works well for groups. Overall- This place gets it right across the board. I'll absolutely be back.

The restaurant wasn't as clean as it could have been - I think they were a little short staffed and not prompt in bussing tables. You walk in, order off the menu or board, pay, grab a sign with a celebrity on it (we had T-Pain), then seat yourself while you wait for your name to be called. There wasn't much interaction with the staff beyond taking our order, which is fine for this type of setup. There's plenty of indoor seating, a nice outdoor area, and bar-style seating as well. One of the fun touches is the pickle station with barrels of sliced pickles ranging from dill to spicy, plus a variety of sauces like chipotle, honey mustard, and barbecue. The drink dispensers are themed too, with sweet and unsweet tea featuring Iced T, and a watermelon iced tea with Harry Styles. The fries were hand-cut and very good, easily my favorite part of the meal. I did a build-your-own burger with lettuce and tomato. I missed two important things on the menu my first time ordering: they offer wagyu, buffalo, and game meats, and burgers are cooked medium-well unless you request otherwise. Because of that, my burger was tougher than I prefer, which was on me. I will say the burger didn't seem very seasoned, but I'm not writing this place off. I'll definitely be back, mainly for the fries and to try a buffalo burger cooked medium.
