They have early dinner deals between 4-6 on weekdays that none of the staff mentioned. It seems like it would have been a nice option to point out. I upgraded one of my sides to a dinner salad for $3.19 more. It was a very sad salad that didn't exude freshness. The bacon looked flabby and raw. There weren't any tomatoes either. I sent it back, which is something I never do, and requested the hash brown casserole instead since the server recommended it. I was brought the one with a slice of American cheese and bacon. I didn't ask for that. I wanted the regular. The bacon and cheese looked unappetizing. He obliged. The chicken tenders weren't fresh and they were pretty small. I had to ask for our biscuits three times. The onion petals were successful. The biscuits were good with the jam. You can request apple butter. They no longer bring it out proactively or offer it as an option. The food preparation here leaves a lot to be desired. The people working in the kitchen should not be in food service. At least my server made it right. He was very inexperienced and kept on forgetting stuff but at least he was nice. This is a great place for holiday decorations though. read more

Let me break this down to a simple rule when considering this New Neighborhood Restaurant. When you are looking for a Southern Comfort Sunday Evening Dinner - DO NOT think of this restaurant! I visited at 5:30 pm this Sunday want some good ol Fried Chicken and the works, what I got was dried, over-cooked and cold chicken (outside hot/inside cold), small disk biscuits and hard corn bread muffins! The wait staff was very apologetic and embarrassed saying she would be happy to have the cooks fix a fresh batch, but its now 30 mins later and I would have to wait another 15 mins! Needless to say, I ate my side salad and paid $37 for a meal I never ate nor did I have the manager come to speak to me and my guest!! Times are hard and I get it, but seriously CB establishment please pay attention to the food coming out and make sure you live up to your motto of Fresh Home Cooked Food - my momma never would have served us this food for Sunday Dinner!!! read more

We had such a great experience at Cracker Barrel! Our waiter, Talbert, was amazing--so friendly, kind, attentive, and quick. He really made our meal extra enjoyable. The food was delicious too--we had the sausage, egg, and cheese hashbrown casserole, sugar coated ham, and also got a couple of meals to go, and it was absolutely perfect. Oh my gosh Noooo! We've been going to CB for years, this is not bigger, they did away with the solid wall in the middle of the dining room which mean nothing to deaden the noise - waaaayyyy too loud. They downsized the hearth that now skirts the floor trying to trip people and took out the checker table to stuff a couple extra tables in. The food is standard CB fare at least. Some of the servers need a lot more training. Everybody asks you if your visit was pleasant or the food was good but you can't really hear them to have a conversation so you just nod. We were pleasantly surprised by the food at Cracker Barrel. For a chain restaurant, it was surprisingly good. The portions were too much, but the value was terrific. 5/5/25-So utterly disappointed in this new location. The Crackerly Barrel failed the community by building the smallest location I have ever seen. Our first experience was having trouble finding parking in a super small parking lot. When we got in we quickly got a seat because there were open tables. This means that they didn't even have enough parking to be able to full fill their restaurant let alone to be able to handle the weekend rushes that happen. Even the store was lacking in merchandise on the shelves due to a lack of space. Service was sub-par, like our waiter not even checking to see if our food was right before bring it out to us, which it wasn't. They didn't give us issues about fixing it, but it shouldn't have happened in the first place. Then the prices had jumped up with the quality going down. Like I ordered the white gravey on my mashed potatoes, but it was bland and floury when it used to be smooth and peppery. This place failed on all accounts. They need to close down and expand this location, because the area needed a full sized or super sized location with a lot of parking. The Cracker Barrel Corporation has no understanding of the Denver Metro market and failed. Just make the drive up to the one on 120th Ave. since this location is useless. read more

I ordered for delivery from the website. Never received the order. I sat outside my building for 20 minutes waiting for my order ($50). Then received a message it was delivered. I called Cracker Barrel and was told they could do nothing and to contact uber through the app. I didn't have the app as I had ordered on Cracker Barrel website. The hostess staff were pleasant, but I was dining alone and was seated at a two person table right next to the kitchen with a five foot wall right behind my chair. It was dark and noisy. There were only about ten diners in the entire restaurant. The location has the new decor which was ok. I ordered unsweetened tea but was served sweet tea. The food was ok but not up to the Cracker Barrel standards. The location was very hard to find, hidden behind a huge car wash and gas station. There was only one tiny sign at the street access. Even the hostess told me other diners had trouble finding it. I don't think I will go there again. This is the Central Park Denver location. read more

The host and manager were so amazing! But our server Hannah had an attitude and barely checked our table. About halfway through our meal, my husband witnessed her hitting her vape indoors on the way to the restroom while going to take our son potty. I'm disappointed that in the food industry you have servers hitting a nicotine device indoors, especially around children. Poor service, poor attitude, and vaping indoors all from the same server. We will not be coming back to this location again. I would rather drive to Northglenn than eat at an establishment where servers vape indoors around my toddler. read more

So this is a much cleaner design then the old lattice work restaurants. The food is better, but the portions are still too small compared to pre-covid. I don't know what happened, but it has gone down hill since then. Asked for biscuits, asked for green beans in a side container... delivered without. He even wrote it down. It wasn't just a one off. She made me cry in front of guests, then forced me to take my 10 to calm myself down. She has absolutely no respect for her employees, everyone gets treated like shit! This is a new location, and it will take time to get the restaurant humming so to speak. It is a clean, very nice restaurant and both the food and service were excellent. I would recommend eating at this location. I love Cracker Barrel. read more

Super excited to try this new location! Our excitement quickly turned into complete dismay, disappointment and frustration. 1. Parking lot is not big enough to accommodate the restaurant. The lot is completely full and you have to park on the side street. But when you go in, the restaurant is about half full. 2. People Traffic jam as soon as you walk in the front door, you take a few steps to the left to see the hostess and it quickly creates a line to the door. 3. The dining room is literally crammed over stuffed with tables and chairs. So packed it is not comfortable or possible to be comfortable when seated. We watched several people ask to be seated somewhere else. It's too small, CB needs to take out about 1/4 of the tables and chairs! The servers are not able to get around the table to serve drinks or food so the customer on the end of the table is handed drinks and food to pass down to the rest of the table. Totally unacceptable! 4. Service, was very sparse . Our waitress Littlebit took our order and never came back. We sat for 40 minutes, we saw other tables getting their food before us. We had to ask 3 different times for our waitress or a manager. We watched them both come out and go to the table next to us, they clearly were eating and it was funny to watch the manager apologize for them not getting their food. The man at the table chuckled and told them wrong table. Literally the waitress and manager looked at each other, looked at us, apologized and said our ticket was lost but they had to put it back in and it was a rush request. After 45 minutes our food came out. Plates were sloppy, food was warm but not hot. 2 of us ordered the same thing and the portion sizes were completely different. 5. We asked for extra napkins and a plate when our order was taken, we never did get either despite asking 2 different people. 6. The biscuits were good but the gravy was so inedible, it tasted like flour paste. 7. The manager never came back to check on our table once we did get our food. The waitress did stop by after our food came and left the check without saying anything. So many things went wrong, service was poor, food was not hot, manager really lacks customer service skills! Visited very early on my birthday. Was 95% empty. Requested a specific table but was refused as I was told it was intended to hold 4 people and therefore not for me. I requested yet another table... again was refused and then I was seated literally WITH A FAMILY OF 6 STRANGERS as if I was to join their family breakfast. I refused and told the girl no. She was unable to adapt basically telling me it had to be at that location. Finally, she had me walk all the way back to the lobby where she picked a different location in another section. That half of the restaurant was completely empty except for one group at a particular table. Naturally, she assigned me to sit right next to that group. So, again, I requested a table a bit further away by the window or perhaps even a few seats further. I didn't want to disturb the other group nor them to disturb me. I was again refused and told it had to be right there at that specific table. Note that that entire half of the restaurant was completely empty except for the one group. I reluctantly accepted and sat down. Ironically, this was a table intended for 4 people - not the two-person table I'd requested by the window. The idiocy of this continued as the next visitors to come in where then seated at that table by the window where I had been refused. And, before I had even received my order yet another group came in and was seated at the other table I'd requested. I guess I didn't know the magic word. The waitress was great and did what she could to alleviate what had become an unpleasant and insulting experience. (note: do NOT order the sausage patties. Not edible.) Haven't been to this one yet but find that certain food only available on certain days is already a turn off. Also the review of one person finding HAIR in their food and the "replacement" also had hair in it? OMG. NO thanks. Another saw a server vaping in the hall by the rest room. This already sounds like a circus. Yes, the place has changed. the building looks like an AUTOZONE, the interior tries, but is not the same. Has nobody there heard of BUD LITE 2.0?? It sounds like they are trying to bring this chain to an end, rather than improve their profits, their business. Truthfully, I eat out as a treat. I want to see items that I can't make at home or can actually make better. Why pay this much for something inedible? There is nothing here available every day that is much better than what I can make for a lot less money. I will go to check it out... Once,.. We'll see. Not optimistic from the negative reviews. Hair in food? Really? Well - just got back and will not go again. Over an hour to get our food which was mediocre.
