Wonderful experience on my wife's birthday! On a very busy evening in the Duomo due to a concert, they graciously seated us within 10 minutes. Although we had some communication issues with the hostess, she was very attentive and wanting to get everything right. The good/great...the antipasto dish with the egg and fish was outstanding, and the filet mignon also perfect. The misses were the margharita pizza (big doughy on a weird wheat crust), and the lamb dish. When I mentioned the birthday, they brought out a special cake with candle to top off a magical night in a magical city!

Looks like someone just threw this together. Sloppy.

Really? Named one of 50 best restaurants in the world? TWO Michelin stars??? Bologna sausage! This place is way way WAY overrated. The staff didn't allow us to order a la carte and a tasting menu so we opted to order a la carte. Dishes were uninspiring and presentation was poor. Atmosphere was stuffy and service was not up to par. Added one star because we did enjoy one of the dishes. Save your money.

Art Deco gem in Milan.

Creative food, out of the ordinary. Amazing flavors. Service could be improved, but still quite close to 5 star. Great experience.

In town from the USA looking for solid Italian food near City Center Milan. Picked this due to the…read moreover 4 stars albeit several of the reviews were over 7 years ago. Seated very quickly, nice clean restaurant and nice waiters although language barrier made ordering a bit clunky. My wife got the ravioli while my friend and I got the bolognese lasagna. My wife said the ravioli was good not great and our lasagna was very tasty but room temperature. I like my food hot. The other person at our table got salmon and it was way overcooked and very tough. Not sure why our other party got Salmon at an Italian restaurant in Italy but to each his own. If you want a glass of wine you only have two choices, white wine and red wine. No other available. This is probably because the restaurant doesn't carry large inventories of wine due to their small size and cost. Overall no way is this above an average restaurant. It's just okay. Heat up your lasagna better, teach your chef how to cook Salmon and expand your glasses of wine selections.

Excellent cafe about 5 minutes walk from the Duomo, and La Scala, and right near Piazza Cordusio…read more Offers a great selection of pizza, pasta, and more for a reasonable price. You could easily pay twice as much for something not as good as that at Bellavista Cafe. Great spot if you want to experience some quality local food and not break the bank. At lunch the place was filled with locals so the food must be good and the prices fair. Well worth the trip!

I would recommend making a reservation during prime hours and sitting outside if they have space there. The pizzas are the thin crust Roman style and very solid - the classic Margherita is the one to get as the execution is fantastic. You get the flavor of a NYC slice made with better ingredients and with a great thin crust. This reminds me of Marta in NYC which closed during COVID. The classic entrees are made in the comfort food style - solid flavors, generous portions, and good ingredients. Be sure to try the costelleta or ossobucco. The cutlet is perfectly tender with a crispy crust served with fantastic roasted potatoes. The ossobucco itself is just okay but the risotto is very satisfying especially with the bone marrow. If you are by the Duomo or Galleria and want comfort food this is a great option.

Prices were fair, and the staff was very attentive. We were able to get some good Italian music and food here. The four cheese pizza is the da bomb. They even give you some free stuff for dessert and a little mini appetizer. However, there is a four Euro tax per PERSON, that might knock the wind out of you. Still, enjoyed the place.
