We were up in Brantford for the weekend and on our way back to the hotel, we just wanted a quick bite for lunch. We stopped here and so glad we did. You can customize your entire order here which is great. Think Chipotle for burgers. They make your burger and then you can add whatever toppings and sauces you'd like. So cool. It feels like how fast food places should be everywhere. I also got a milkshake since they had a deal for summer cold drinks and it was so good! The restaurant itself was super clean and organized. We took the food to go but we came back and ate here another time and had a great time. I am gonna have to start a petition to bring Harvey's to America. We will make this a stop on our tour of Brantford every time for sure.

I did some searching and found Harvey's nearby! We stopped in and ordered a cheap burger (some promotion they had going on) and a crispy chicken sandwich meal. I went to the restroom after ordering but when I came out, my boyfriend told me I had to pick my toppings for my sandwich. What?! So it's like a fast food restaurant but you can customize your food, which is fun. I was able to add lettuce, tomato, and hot peppers to my sandwich along with some mayo. The fries were hot and fresh and the sandwich was crispy! The burger was a little weird - it tasted like a Morningstar veggie burger. Not bad, just a little strange. The people working at Harvey's were super friendly. I was glad we got to try this place and would stop at a Harvey's again next time I'm driving through Canada!

They're friendly & prompt. Pricey for what it is. Food is decent but plain. I had a western omelette sandwich, huge amount of egg, a little dry, not seasoned. I chose salad as a side, iceberg lettuce, couple cuke & tomato slices. Husband had a Reuben & fries, said his sandwich was just ok. Fries not crispy (I sampled those). All in all, very under impressed, wouldn't bother stopping in again.

Once again, the burger tasted like a homemade burger rather than something from a fast food spot. Must be because it's better outside of America maybe? Not sure! But they were full of flavor and weren't dried out like some other burger places. But this time, I was blown away by the service at this location. We went in, ordered and within a minute of ordering, I already had my food and milkshake in hand. That is incredible! There are times at other places, where I have sit in the drive thru for 10-20 minutes before getting an order. The shake was delicious, the fries were salty and flavorful, and the burger was great. The whole restaurant was clean, and the service was amazing. A true 5-star experience which is hard to do with a bigger chain.

FOOD: We had come here on a Monday at around 12:00 pm for…read morelunch as it was the $5.00 Burger Deal, in which you would receive a Burger and Side Order for $5.00. However, it was required that you order a beverage in order to get this deal; I had settled on Ginger Ale as my beverage, and Tomato Soup as my side. In terms of the Ginger Ale, it tasted watered-down, and was a difficult drink to enjoy, because it mostly tasted like water. The Burger was actually very delicious, and tasted juicy and fresh, and it was quite large as well. The only thing that I didn't like about it was that it hardly had any toppings on it, and we had to add our own ketchup and mustard (which were on the table already). For my side, I had asked if I could have the Tomato Soup as I really love Tomato Soup, and was excited to see that it was on the menu. They had said that they would ask in the back if it was possible to have it with the Burger Deal. When they said that it was fine, it definitely made my day! However, upon tasting the soup, I was severely disappointed, as the menu clearly stated that the soup was 'homemade', which clearly, it was not. I've tasted soup out of the can that was much better then what I was served, and vowed that I wouldn't be ordering any type of soup from this restaurant in the future. Although the Burger was quite delicious, I wasn't too happy with the Tomato Soup, or the Ginger Ale, and felt that my money wasn't spent well on these items. ATMOSPHERE: This restaurant was situated in a busy plaza, however, at the time that we had gone, it wasn't too busy at all as it was midday during the week. We noticed that there weren't too many people in the restaurant, and the ambiance was quiet as there were no sports games showing on the television. The restaurant itself was quite spacious, with enough room between each of the tables, and ample room for us to move our chairs in and out while being comfortable. The décor on the walls was reminiscent of a typical English pub, with pictures of London, and other items related to sports. SERVICE: When we had arrived at the restaurant, we were greeted by a kind, younger woman, who directed us to a table of our choosing. She then came over and gave us menus, and told us about the specials for the day. We found that the service was great, as the woman came over as we were eating to see how we were doing, and was quite polite during our entire stay. We noticed that there were a few other servers as well doing the same thing with other tables, which was comforting to see. Great service all around for sure! COST: 1 Burger Deal: $5.00 (Includes Burger & Side) + 1 Beverage (Ginger Ale): $2.25 + Tax = $8.19 WOULD YOU RETURN? In all honesty, although the atmosphere and service were great for a British pub, the food didn't measure up, and it just wasn't worth the money that we put into it.
