The biggie mac

I can't say enough about how good smash burgers are here. It's not just the food, they offer a good selection of draft beers. With their offer on steins for $10, we hard a hearty meal. As for the ambience, it took me back to local bars of Edmonton and Calgary That along with the friendly staff makes you wanna go back every weekend

Stopped by Hambrgr for lunch while passing through this town on the way to Niagara Falls. The food really didn't disappoint. The burger was juicy with good seasoning, the fries were crispy and hot, and the BBQ Chicken Choice Salad was fresh with tender grilled chicken and a nice mix of toppings. I also had a local craft beer (Great Lakes Brewery) that paired really well with the meal. The vibe of the place is casual and comfortable. One small surprise was that they charged an extra $2 just for a side of ranch sauce - not a big deal, but worth noting. The only real downside was the service: it looked like there was only one server running the entire floor, so he was clearly stressed and not as friendly as you'd hope. Understandable, but it did affect the overall experience a bit. Still, for the food and beer alone, it's worth checking out if you happen to pass through this town. Solid 4 stars.

October 3/1024: Solo lunch. This was a FANTASTIC burger. It was juicy, charred, topped perfectly (except lettuce) & on a sesame/poppy seed bun. Exactly the way I want & love my burgers. I can't comment on any other foodstuffs from here, suffice to say the service was fast & the burger was pricy ($20.00) with tip. Very cool, casual restaurant. Definitely a do over.

Great burgers! Filling and unique Was on the way from Michigan to Buffalo and stopped in Hamilton to get food. We were seated promptly and the host was very kind. I do wish they came by more frequently, but the service was acceptable. I had gotten a Le Royale with cheese and a side of poutine. My sandwich tasted like a combo of French onion soup and a burger. It was slightly sweet, but not overly powering. I loved having different onion flavors with the crispy onions and caramelized onions! Our waiter did tell us that most of the burgers are made medium (which is what I had), but it can be made well done. For the poutine, as an American, my knowledge of poutine is lacking; however, I know I've had slightly better poutines before. I will say, it did scratch that itch for this American. My girlfriend had the Matty's Damn Hot Nashville, which I shared. Overall, she did say that it could've been spicer, but overall would give it a solid 7.5/10. Overall, I would give it a 4.5/5; however, as 2 hungry travelers, it satisfied everything we wanted on our journey to New York.

Fakeshack Burgers. Fries Tatertots

The burger was delicious and very filling. We had the foot long mozzarella stick which was also very good and served with 2 yummy sauces ... spicy marinara and ranch. We did not order drinks, but I usually order their Caesar which is really yummy. Our service was very good. We really enjoyed our food. The only negative is I wish they still had the Diablo and Build a Burger on their new menu.

Should have taken photo first but it looked so delicious...

Because it's close to Aquarius Theatre (5 minute walk) ideal for dinner before a performance. We had a reservation for 4 of us Friday evening. LOVED the burgers and home cut fries and the banana desert (massive) was great ... we split it among 4 of us. Service was perfect. Thanks Vic E you were great. Fairly small place but did not seem to get noisy; we liked the atmosphere.

Double burger with with cheese and bacon... It's ok... Just ok...

I was really excited to eat here. We have eaten here twice, once as takeout this time as eat in. I had the double burger with cheese and bacon. It wasn't bad... It was good but not amazing. We also had some fries smothered in aioli I think and parmesan cheese... They were just too greasy with the aioli on there, it would have been ok maybe plain or with something less over powering. We started with Mac and cheese balls... They were just ok, actually very bland. Bthe filling was very moist which is good but quite tasteless. They should have used a stronger cheese.. So you had flavour as opposed to very fatty insides with no taste... They also had more aioli on the plate... The last thing you need to go with a very fatty dish with little flavour. My main problem with this place is that it all sounds amazing and sounds it could be amazing but I am continually let down by the flavours, or lack thereof...

Hawaiian Punch with sweet potato fries

Made a reservation for 6 on a Tuesday evening through their site and it was super easy. I really like the vibe from this place - modern yet cozy for a burger joint. They also had lots of amazing options on their menu and I had a very hard time choosing. We ended up getting the Buffalo cauliflower for the appetizer and I got the Hawaiian Punch burger as my main with a side of sweet potato fries. The Buffalo cauliflower was amazing! Did not even taste like cauliflower to me and it was just fried to perfection. I can easily eat the whole plate by myself. The burger was also super good, the pulled pork was not dry at all and the slice of pineapple added the perfect amount of sweetness. The portion here is pretty big so make sure to get your bellies ready. I'll definitely be back to try the rest of the menu!

This is a well-derived 5 star review I owed this place. Visited during patio season and still dream about their amazing burger. So we ordered BUFFALO CAULIFLOWER which is covered in sauce and jalapeños, I think it is a little bit too bufflao-y but maybe it's just because I'm not a fan of it but my friend loves this dish. Then the burger, I went with LE ROYALE WITH CHEESE which has lovely patty, crispy fries on top, sweet bacon jame and covered in melted havarti which is juicy, dreamy and extremely delicious, smoked bacon jam is so good I wanted to get a jar and bring it home. Their service is a little TOO SLOW, but we had lots of time to kill so no big deal.

I'm not a burger gal at ALL. But this place has me in the palm of their hand. I will drive to Hamilton just to get these burgers. They're so fresh and the service is so great! They have all these unique burgers on the menu with all cool toppings and delicious ingredients. Their burgers are so filling that I could have one for 2 meals. It's lit. Fries are an extra add on and they're honestly a bit salty but I don't really mind. I love that they have something for the vegan and veggie friend as well. Actually the first time I came here, I was vegan and still loved their burgers 100%! The owners are kind and sweet, they're really fast as well. Would definitely recommend to anyone passing by!!

BYOB burger

My husband and I went here for a quick date night. We're visiting Hamilton from the states, and this place blew us away. Great service, very friendly staff. The food was incredible. I tried LE ROYALE WITH CHEESE. The best burger I've ever had. My husband built his own burger. We got the half and half fries. Crispy sweet potato fries with a spicy aioli from the Le Royale burger hit the spot.

Goodfella burger (lettuce wrapped) 5/5 Avocado bacon spinach salad 3.5/5

They have the option to lettuce-wrap their burgers (no extra charge)!! And the toppings in their burgers and sides were full of textures & flavours. What's not to love ?? We got the HOT-LANTA burger. Overall meaty and good, just not amazing. Couldn't taste the coke in the pulled pork either. THE GOODFELLA burger though!! It was an absolute flavour & texture bomb!! Loved the Parmesan pasta crisp on top of the salty & juicy patty. I got this one lettuce-wrapped (bc I'm the lettuce-wrapping QUEEN), and the freshness of basically half the head of lettuce was perfect balance. I like their style of lettuce wrapping too, they don't skimp on it and kept the lettuce head dense and sturdy to hold all the burger goodness. And on the side, we tried their AVOCADO CANDIED BACON BABY SPINACH SALAD & GAR PARM FRIES. They do their fries on the thinner crispier style which I like !

Hubby and I were looking for something fun to do on a Saturday night and we settled on Collective Arts Brewing in Hamilton. It was our first time there and it's definitely a place worth revisiting. The front part is the tap room for beer sales, and if you drive to the back, you'll get to the outdoor beer garden (with lots of shade) and access to another huge indoor beer hall. We were famished and ordered from Mel's Deli - the sandwiches were hearty and flavourful. We ordered the saucy and spicy meatball hoagie and the not so hot cheesesteak, each were $19 and came with pickles and some kettle cooked chips. The sandwiches were hot, bun was super fresh and were loaded with various toppings and cheese. To pair with the sandwiches, you can order beer on top, canned beer or alcoholic slushies. I opted for a beer flight, 4 samplers of any of the beers they had on top. There are so many options that anyone can for sure find something that they'll like. And to top off the fun outing, line dancing started at 8pm that Saturday and everyone jumped in! A side note for those with kids and dogs, they are all welcome on site! I want to say that every other table had kids. If you're looking for a fun night out, whether it's date night, girls night out or even a family outing, you have to come here!

Most placed I'd been to had small selections of their own beer, but to me you have to really diversity to get to that 50 plateau and I was right. 50+ beers from all over (even back home). Steady changing selections of all craft, some local, but as varied as anyone can get around here. It's dark, small, warm, cozy, inviting, but ultimately weird. Hipster AF. I was glad to see some classic cocktails on the menu which I also tried, but there is a weird bottle neck at the chalkboard as it narrows to the bar opening which makes ordering just awkward if the bar itself isn't open. They do an interesting thing asking for your name instead of tabbing you via a card to hold, but that also doesn't seem to be a Canadian thing like it is back in the States. My pisco sour was excellent, fresh juice, fresh egg white, well shaken, though I'm more a fan of metal on metal and I'm starting to think kold-draft is a luxury as many places simply don't have it. Kold draft or even 2+ inch molded ice has a very unique clang that I like. Ultimately bad if your shaking with glass though. My friends had a few lagers and ales which Hamilton is more known for than IPA's. We sat at the back where it was quite and we could hear ourselves instead of shouting over people. They have board games which I imagine is great fun and even a back patio which I imagine goes off in the summer. The staff are friendly and pretty knowledgeable, but I'd have like to seem a little more eye in the sky control, in that regard it's more barista than bar. On any given night here you'll hear conversations of beard oil, compost, prius', and other hipster topics. It's quietly romantic and dark so no one will bother you whatever your opinions are. If a Portland hipster mated with a San Francisco hipster, The Brain would be their baby.

We found ourselves in Hamilton and decided to grab a quick brunch somewhere before heading home…read more Some promising reviews of Undefined made the decision very easy. The location is really cool, as the restaurant sits on a street closed off to cars, which meant there's plenty of space for outdoor tables. And a parking lot across the road meant that leaving the car wasn't an issue at all. Anyway, we snagged a nice table outside and placed our orders. But before our mains came, we were presented with a complimentary amuse bouche of two small biscuits with marmalade. They were delicious. Hot and fresh, they didn't have that dense taste that can sometimes plague biscuits. And the jam was terrific, too. For my main, I went with the Chorizo Huevos Ranchero ("House Chorizo | Smashed Avocado | Sunny-Side Eggs | Smoky Black Bean Ranchero | Corn Tortillas"). I've always been a huge huevos rancheros fan and this dish certainly lived up to my expectations. All the components work really well together, and I could tell that it had been assembled with care. There's nothing more annoying than a dish that's clearly been thrown together and phoned in. (I suppose if I had to make an extremely small critical suggestion, the dish could've used some kind of acid to cut through the uniformly heavy components. The whole thing is very rich and I do feel like it could've been improved by some brightness.) All in all, I loved my experience at Undefined. I could definitely see myself driving from Etobicoke just to stop into this joint.
