Service was very slow! We were seated right away but sat for a long time before anyone came to take our order or bring us drinks. After ordering it took a long time before our order came. After we were finished, again we had to wait until I was finally able to flag down our server to get the bill. I had a "slamwich" and my wife had a bennie, the bill came to $50. Although the food was very tasty, just not much of it. This Denny's does not come close to the Denny's in the US. We probably will not go back.

You can customize your entire order here which is great. Think Chipotle for burgers. They make your burger and then you can add whatever toppings and sauces you'd like. So cool. It feels like how fast food places should be everywhere. I also got a milkshake since they had a deal for summer cold drinks and it was so good! The restaurant itself was super clean and organized. We took the food to go but we came back and ate here another time and had a great time. I am gonna have to start a petition to bring Harvey's to America. We will make this a stop on our tour of Brantford every time for sure.

I went to the restroom after ordering but when I came out, my boyfriend told me I had to pick my toppings for my sandwich. What?! So it's like a fast food restaurant but you can customize your food, which is fun. I was able to add lettuce, tomato, and hot peppers to my sandwich along with some mayo. The fries were hot and fresh and the sandwich was crispy! The burger was a little weird - it tasted like a Morningstar veggie burger. Not bad, just a little strange. There are times at other places, where I have sit in the drive thru for 10-20 minutes before getting an order. The shake was delicious, the fries were salty and flavorful, and the burger was great.
