I was visiting Paris with my partner for the first time, and we read that this place has good food and good vibes. Before arriving, we made a reservation for dinner, so that we can have a nice dinner for our first day in Paris. When we entered, we were warmly greeted by a friendly young man at the front desk. He confirmed our reservation and directed us to our seat. Then our waitress came to our table to welcome us and left to get us some water. There were lots of items on the menu, so it took some time for us to decide what we wanted to order. My partner ordered Chicken Curry Poutine and I chose Coconut shrimp, Cranberry and Feta Wrap with french fries. A few minutes later, our orders arrived hot and fresh. We were surprised by how large the portion size was! Plus, the food was delicious. During our meal, our waitress came by to check in on us. Delicious food, friendly service, and fun vibe. Wings are always great and plenty of beer options. A little crowded but a great pub option if that's what you're looking for.

I have been here three times, the only decent thing on their menu is the nachos, the beef dip was just ok, the fish and chips seemed like they were wet, the French onion soup was awful and the same waitress we've had all three times was not friendly at all, she treated us like we were an annoyance. Absolutely fantastic food. I ventured into Cobblestone Public House for a pint and an early dinner recently - opting for the Beef Dip Sandwich with Waffle Fries. It was just what the Doctor ordered. It was so good in fact that I returned with my wife a few days later and our meal was equally as good. I had the Buffalo Chicken Sandwich and she had the Brie, Chicken Sandwich. Stopped here on the way out of the city after visiting The Butter Tart Festival for lunch. Despite being very busy, we were quickly seated, our order taken, and served our food quickly under the circumstances. The servers were efficient and friendly. The food was very good and the prices not too bad (a tiny bit expensive). What did not impress me was that when food was ready to be taken by the servers to the customers, it was placed on a counter that is in the main thru way from the front for to the dining room. The food is exposed to customers walking by. The food is right there and can be touched or otherwise contaminated by any customer walking by (ie coughing, sneezing, or even just catching their head). Even Buffetts have "sneeze guards". Not here. This alone is why I can not recommend to try this place if you are in the area. Three stars for service, food taste, and price. read more

It was the Friday of Labour Day weekend, and Lee and I were heading across to Michigan. We decided to have a late lunch/early dinner so we didn't have to figure out something mid drive. We had stopped to pick up some cash while at the bank in town, and I cast about for a likely looking dinner spot. This came up as being well reviewed, so we decided to give it a shot. It's more or less your typical small town pub, a little bit gentrified with a nice atmosphere: lots of dark wood, large bar, and so on. We were led to a small table, and it looks like we'd gotten there just before the dinner rush. We started off with some Buffalo Chicken Cheese Balls, which were pretty tasty: Think of a cross between chicken wing dip and a mozzarella stick, in spherical form. It was Friday, so they had a Fisherman's Platter special: perch, haddock, and fries. The perch was the best part, from the lake, dusted in cornmeal, and nicely fried. The haddock was beer battered and a little bit on the greasy side. Lee got some pork schnitzel, which he enjoyed. Service was a bit slow, particularly once the dinner rush came on, but we had no real complaints. Overall a good place to stop when you're in the area. read more

What a great restaurant! The patio looks over the river, and it's beautiful. They had a large selection of sandwiches, burgers, and entrees. We started with sweet potato fries for the table. They came with a spicy wing-like sauce -- yummy! For lunch, My boyfriend had the peppercorn burger and I had the French Connection (side salad, french onion soup, and garlic bread) off the lunch menu. Both were delicious. A rare noted thing about this establishment is that they serve breakfast a weekend mornings!! Paris has about five other breakfast designated restaurants which are always packed with people. Go to cobblestone where they will serve you a big tasty breakfast with lightning speed right by the river (Only available on weekends) The only downside to this place is the size it is smaller in size compared to other establishment so dinner may be a little crowded. But all in all 4 stars for the food there and breakfast gets 5 stars! read more

Very solid place. Burger was better then average. I had the hangover which has a Friday egg ( is a burger really a burger without a fired egg anymore?). It was very tasty...buns was moist (sorry for the word choice) and the meat was juicy which makes a pretty good combination. I did opt for the side house salad versus the fries which actually had leafy greens and not iceberg! Also there was actually Cucumbers and tomatoes on the salad which is far and away beyond what you typically get from a pub salad. Very respectable. The ambiance and decor was lackluster and I was not able to give it 5 stars....it is the cobblestone so the bar is sealed river rock? And the stools are too high for the bar...not a comfortable sit...food solid but if you are looking to rent space at the bar there has to be a better option. read more

This charming little spot is the highlight of Paris. The town itself is scenic and quaint and located on the Grand River and gorgeous nature trails! Our group had a terrible experience with Grand Experiences (don't use), however, this stunning pub made everything better. The price is right, less than $12 for most hamburgers and they are so inventive! They come with a side, and the portions are generous! My burger was incredible, definitely the best I have had in a long time! My friend had the Perch battered fish burger and said it was amazing! Perogies were amazing! The service was wonderful, very friendly and prompt. The décor takes you back in time with high ceilings with the stamped metal tiles, and exposed brick, a beautiful view out the back, and a long heavy wood bar with black leather seats!
