When we arrived ~9pm, there was a super talented and funny performer who sang, wrote her own songs, played the piano and music pad. Seriously a one woman band! She interacted with the audience too which was neat. As for the food, I ordered their ARTIC CHAR and it was *chef's kiss* cooked to perfection and all the roasted Brussel sprouts & orzo worked deliciously together. My friend got their SEAFOOD LINGUINI which she liked. Definitely would love to return here for a family night out or date night, I already have my eye out on their pizzas :) ALSO, Shout outs to the owner of the restaurant. She was sooo welcoming and noticed right away that we weren't their regulars and came to introduce herself. Made us feel like we were part of the family/town.

The underground setting, live swing music, and overall atmosphere make it feel like you've stepped into a different era. We ordered the charcuterie board, grabbed some drinks, and ended up having one of the most memorable nights I've had in a long time. Danny B and his band were incredible. They had so much energy, and by the end of the night the entire bar was singing along with them. It just felt like the kind of place where everyone was there to have a good time, and it made the whole experience even more special. If you're looking for something different from the usual bars in Toronto, I can't recommend Reservoir Lounge enough. It's a place I know I'll keep coming back to, and it's a night I won't forget.

The guests were a pretty discerning crowd, and I can't say how many people told the family of the bride/groom that they had the best band and the best dance party they had ever been to. Good vibes, good energy, good music. I would recommend her for all your music needs.

We arrived on time for our reservation and were reminded about the $20 per person cover charge, which was fine by me since it goes directly to the musicians. We were shown to a table that was very close to the stage, which was cool, but the way the table was placed meant that my back was to the stage, which meant I had to keep craning my neck to get a decent view. It was uncomfortable, to say the least. Add to that the extremely loud music and a lack of proper air conditioning and I was just suffering in my seat. But I was trying to be a trooper about it, so I ordered a Manhattan. The drink was pretty decent, but I was just so hot and so uncomfortable that finally I threw up my arms and requested the cheque. Our waiter was very apologetic but we were charged the full cover, which meant that with the drink and tip the bill came out to $77. $77 for a 26 minute experience is a little ludicrous. I can't say I'll ever return. One thing I'll say is that there's a reason jazz clubs usually have round tables. It's so unpleasant to have the band at your back, and I'm shocked that's the layout they're going with.

I am giving the food at the restaurant 3 starts, however, the speed of the kitchen gets ZERO!! The servers get 1 start. The food: the selection is not vast but it is nicely put together. There is something on the menu for everyone. Beef, chicken, gluten free which is rare to see on a mine so good for them. The servers: I was here two separate times for dinner and every time it seemed that they were understaffed. While the servers are friendly they wait so long to come and greet you or to take your order. The restaurant was never full but the service was always slow, slow, slow. The Kitchen: they take the cake and the icing. We waited 25 minutes for a Cesar salad! The lava cake desert which looked like it was frozen them microwaved took almost half an hour!
