Black mussels, shrimp and plenty of garlic/butter with more on the side. Also had the steamed oysters. So delicious, all of it.

Amazing lunch special. Great price and excellent taste. I'm definitely coming back. Thank you for being there

This was truly amazing! I did a walk in order, and the service was so fast. Upon entering you are greeted by the cashier who answered the phone also. I did see hand sanitizer near by. The place was very clean, and due for the week entry, there was only one customer. But they had plenty of orders for pick up. This food was amazing, I'm not really into seafood but I would come to Crab's Landing for it anytime! The sauce is actually inside with the food. Now I'm not much of a seafood person so that was new to me. But if you are ever downtown and want to actually get full while eating seafood, I recommend this place anytime!

This spot just opened. It was so good. The breaded fried chicken and hush puppies were beyond amazing for appetizers. The boil was definitely an added touch although I was stuffed!!

I've been twice now, both times getting standard butter only boils with shrimp and mussels. Everything is nicely cooked and I've been happy with my food and will go again. I tried the green mussels this last time and they are very large, but I think I prefer the black. Shrimp is excellent. Sweet potato fries are just ok.

I'm so disappointed! I will go back to try something else but never will I get the catfish again. I was so excited about this new restaurant near my home but unfortunately the catfish was seasonless. It was not cooked long enough and so unsavory

Shrimp, crab legs, corn, red potatoes in garlic- butter, Cajun sauce.

Don't judge a book by its cover. This place is amazing and best crab legs I've probably ever had. Fried fish was really good too.

The cook told me I would like it, and he was right. Soup- Didn't really care for it, honestly tasted like can soup. Service: A little slow, but to be expected. Similarly to the other restaurants in the Foundry, employees are either on their phone via bluetooth or seems like not looking for business. We were waiting to place an order but the person who was taking the order is also the same person cooking. I think he was focus on cooking and talking with whoever was on the phone. A second employee came from the back to assist once more customer started to come. Honestly service got better once I started to snap photos. Ambiance - LGBTQIA flag being displayed. Welcoming Areas for improvement: I don't think think their menu does any justice in explaining the food. I saw a couple orders that looks really delicious but not how I had imagined it to look. * Greet customer and let them know you will be right with them. *Consider adding rice dishes, especially for take out orders. Fries doesn't travel well. Recommendation: Try them out the next time you are in the Foundry!

First I have to pint out that the customer service in reference to the employees acknowledging customers standing in line is HIGLY LACKING. We watched as groups of customers ahead of us and after us stood at the counter and were NEVER acknowledged but still waiting there in line to place an order and eventually just walked off. Which is sad and disappointing, but OK I guess if your business generates that much business to make-up for lost revenue. Also, you really have to be paying attention even if you are standing right there at the counter when your food is done because they way they are calling out completed orders is so inaudible it's ridiculous. ONLY because I watched the creation of our order from beginning to end and slightly heard a resemblance of his name that I was able to determine our order was ready, but I also had to ask at the end of the counter as well. Now once you get past the lack of customer service and ordering, the food is AMAZING!!!! Incredibly delicious. We ordered the gouda smoked grits with catfish, shrimp and crawfish I also forget the name of the dish itself. But he really wanted catfish and grits. We watched as the man made our order, completing each induvial section, layering flavor upon flavor for everything to be combined in one container. OMGGGGGGG, utterly mouth watering. We literally just walked to the table to the left of their stand to take pics and try. People kept asking us where did we get our food, what was it and how'd it taste. The grits were thick and seasoned to perfection poured over top the catfish, which we would get on the side next time so as not to hinder the crispiness of the catfish. But everything was perfect!!!! Made to order, hot-n-fresh. We would definitely return......

It's not really creepy creepy. And the food is extraordinary. I ate here last weekend with friends and we pretty much ordered the menu. We love Cajun and I just wanted to know what the deal is with this place. So let me just say this. It's real. It's Cajun. It's like eating in Louisiana. Personally I don't like gumbo, but that's not because of gumbo 2 geaux. Everything else I ate I loved! Check out the pictures and I think you'll see why. Anyway, if you love Cajun food, thank God you live in Alton. It's almost like you can smell the salt water from the gulf from this place.

Since there were no clams, I went for the Catfish Basket. The Catfish Basket had multiple catfish fritters, steak fries and two hush puppies. They also provided a cup full of sliced onions and pickles. Plus, a small serving of Remoulade. I enjoyed the cajun breading on the catfish, it had a flavorful spicy kick. The steak fries were cut fat and thick and I liked the seasoning. For me, they could have been crispier. The Hush Puppies were good, but I was disappointed when I saw a box of Classic Hush Puppies being delivered by their supplier. Homemade Hush Puppies are so much more flavorful. They've been promoting, Barq's Creme Soda on FB and Creme Soda was a favorite when I was growing up, so I couldn't resit ordering one. It was cool, refreshing and brought back flashes of memories. Oh, it was also a great accompaniment beverage to my Lent dinner. Customer Service is good, because chances are you will be waited on by one of the owners. They are true hands on owners and big supporters of the Alton community.

Now listen... for me, the flavors didn't quite punch me in the mouth the way true Cajun food should. I wanted a little more "who made this roux and how long did they stir it?" energy. BUT -- and this matters -- everything was fresh, well-cooked, and genuinely delicious. No frozen-tasting foolishness, just good seafood done right. I just wanted the seasoning to turn the volume knob up a notch or three. The seating situation started off a little sideways, like a crawfish running from the boil, but we got it wrangled and after that the night smoothed out just fine. Let's talk sides. Baby... these sides were small for the price. And look -- St. Louis has so many great spots where you get quality and value. The county can be tricky like that: the food delivers, but the prices sometimes think they're partying on Bourbon Street during peak Mardi Gras. Now I gotta say something that stayed with me all night -- that fish tank broke my heart. Those fish looked lonely. If you're gonna have a tank, give them some friends, some sparkle, maybe toss in a bead or two -- make it FUN. Right now it's giving "sad aquarium waiting for parade season." Tonic report from the bar: whew -- that tonic was way too sweet for my taste. My gin was confused, I was confused, so I tapped out and switched to iced tea, which did me just right. One thing I truly appreciated -- the owner is very personable and stopped by our table to say hello, which always earns major points. That kind of hospitality matters and adds to the experience. And here's my loving suggestion: lean HARD into Mardi Gras season. It's a BIG deal here in the Lou, and this place is perfectly set up for it. Beads, music, specials, colors, chaos -- give us a reason to yell laissez les bons temps rouler before the appetizers even hit the table. BUT HOLD UP -- because the real star of the night was our server Brittany, and baby... she was an absolute QUEEN Warm, fun, attentive, and made the whole night feel like a party. We laughed, we relaxed, and we had a blast. Brittany is the kind of server who makes you want to come back -- and maybe order dessert even when you swore you were done. All in all, Gulf Shores brings fresh seafood, good vibes, and Cajun-adjacent comfort. Turn the seasoning up, give the fish some friends, lean into Mardi Gras, rethink the tonic -- and if Brittany's in your section? You're already winning.
