I've had take out from here before, but eating here is great! One thing I'm particular about with seafood restaurants is I hate when it smells like rotting old seafood. This place smelled fresh as a daisy. Everything was clean. No bad smells. The staff were friendly and helpful. Drinks and apps came very fast, and dinner wasn't too far behind. The prices are beyond reasonable here. The food was cooked to perfection. I added a lobster tail and some sausage to my pot and it was epic! I already have plans to return!

Seen this place by my hotel, and I was craving some crab. I got the Party Sack #2 (1/2 lb shrimp, 1 lb crab, 3 potats and 1 corn). They let me choose head on or head off on the shrimp, no cost difference with the sacks. I let them choose. Ended up being 3 clusters and 8-10 shrimp. With the sacks the sauce is the "crab n go" sauce, which tasted like everything mixed lol. And I got no spicy. The crab tasted really good, I started to mix it in the sauce halfway through and it was really good. They gave me no-head shrimp, so it was extremely easy to peel. The 2 working the tables always came by to check on me and make sure I was doing ok. They were very polite. I also really enjoyed their choice of music. I'd definitely come back to this place. Nothing but good vibes in here and I love places with good vibes!

Always a bit skeptical ordering crabs away from the coastline, but this place was definitely worth the trip. The customized boil option was key. A mix of King and Snow crabs, along with Black mussels, Shrimp and Lobster with the house sauce was delicious. We decided to add in the sausage, corn and potatoes to make it a meal!

Service is always good, a very calm setting with a good mix of music playing. Food has never disappointed! Prices are fair and you get a lot for what you pay for. Seasoning is always good and the corn is always sweet, which is always nice to break up all the seafood flavors. This is our go-to spot when we travel to Syracuse. When it's my husband and I we normally split a sack #8 but the sack #9 is a great one to split between 3 people.

Some places deserve a 5 stars review right away without any delay. Crab N Go is one of them. I asked for Oysters but they weren't available. But I wasn't disappointed because there was something better waiting for me! I got the half pound Snow crab legs and half pound black mussels with their special house sauce with the highest spice level. Man, it was hot and delicious!! I wasn't sure which sauce to order, but the owner (I asked her if she owns the restaurant and she said her family owns it. What's the difference lol. She was a really cute and friendly young woman) guided me very well. She asked me to try the house sauce if I liked lemon and garlic flavor. I am happy I tried it! It was the best!! The seafood was fresh. Crabs had lot of meat, very sweet and delicious. Mussels were well..mussels. I also asked for a side of Boiled Eggs in it, so they threw in 2 boiled eggs to the mix. And this comes with half corn and couple of boiled potatoes, also thrown in the mix. Overall, very satisfying meal! I will definitely go back! Well done, Crab N Go!

Great food and service, don't be discouraged by the outside of the restaurant. I assure you it is worth a try!

5 reviews? Blasphemy! This has to be one of the best Crab bucket cookouts I have had in a very long time. They are definitely doing it good and right here. I travel all over as an over the road truck driver. Have I had many buckets? Yes. Was this the best one? No. Was I absolutely blown away that here in Liverpool, NY, in my home neck of the woods, there resided such an establishment? YES! I am blown away that word of mouth has not traveled to me of this place! The portion size for the Friday special I got was perfect. Very reasonable prices on the seafood here. I thoroughly indulged in the flavors and deliciousness of the boil. Nice crab legs, smaller lobster tail that I couldn't be definitive species, delicious none the less, and about a dozen of so head off shrimps. The bag included corn and potatoes that were equally indulgent. Put a little bit of the spices from the boil on the corn and enjoy! Potatoes were perfect and of course a necessity of any good boil. I also took it upon myself to try an order of hush puppies. They were great. Hard to find good ones! Get that vinegar ready or just eat them plain, you'll love them either way. I dipped one in the boil too and used it to soak up some flavors. Yummy! This was enough food for two for a good date night. I finished it off solo, but we don't have seafood in the Midwest where I moved too. When I come to the east coast, I always eat my fill before going back! I got grub hub to my truck and my meal arrived within 45 minutes from order to Cicero from Liverpool. That's pretty good considering what your ordering, it's not fast food! This meal was epic and all I had to do was open my truck door . Fellow Yelpers, get behind these establishments before you lose out on them. Wether you like it or not, maybe something was not for you, leave a review, even negative or neutral feedback helps our community restaurants and food spots to improve. I wanna see and hear more from you all in the Syracuse and Liverpool areas... I know we have more good finds like Crab and Go.

    A1. Spring Roll

If you're looking for amazing seafood in CNY, this is the spot. This place is phenomenal! I went for lunch and had the spring rolls, fried shrimp and Friday Special (lobster tail, 1/2 pound crab, 1/2 pound shrimp seasoned with corn and potatoes)....OMG everything was perfection! I ate every last bite (of course I had to share the apps...sadly lol!). The spring rolls were fresh, hot, and crispy and the dipping sauce was amazing. The fried shrimp was outstanding, the shrimp were massive and the breading couldn't have been better, crispy and flavorful and the shrimp were cooked just perfectly. The sauce with the fried shrimp was THE BEST, seriously they know what they're doing when it comes to dips and seasonings! The Friday Special was everything I was hoping for. Every part was cooked exactly how it should be, and the crab n go house seasoning is seriously the best combination of flavors. I ate everything and still could've eaten more that's how good it all was. On top of the great food, the staff was wonderful. Our waitress was polite, funny, personable and attentive. She had amazing suggestions and honestly I have a feeling everything here is wonderful. This spot is definitely one I will be going back to and will recommend to anyone I can.

Very good! We went for a date night and it was very tasty! I got a combination of all the spices and it was good! Next time I will try the special sauce, I thought I could just ask for some on the side but apparently you have to tell them up front because the sauce is made special to order?! I thought that was strange but otherwise the food was good and prices reasonable.

Also, order of 5 chicken wings in medium buffalo and garlic bread. I ordered a lemon drop martini and my son had a Shirley Temple. We had a great time and filled our bellies with good food. Bring your own disposable gloves as they have the cheap, gigantic clear gloves that don't help much like the other establishments have. The bib I felt was thicker and better quality than other restaurants. We did like the sauce but it may not be our #1. The waiter gave a good toss of the bag at our table and opened it for us. I think this service stood out from the rest. Everything in the bag was delicious. The wings were lightly coated and sauce drizzled on. They were good and hot in temp. The garlic bread was nothing special. Hardly any garlic or butter taste. I ended up dipping it in the seafood boil sauce. Definitely convenient place when you're craving seafood. Would come here again.

My family and I recently dined at Aloha Krab to celebrate a special occasion. Unfortunately, our…read moreexperience was extremely disappointing, especially considering our bill was over $600. While packing our leftovers, our server, Nathan, picked up one of the takeout bags. It was clearly leaking, but instead of immediately setting it back down on the plate or tray, he continued lifting and moving it. As a result, the bag gave way, spilling liquid everywhere. It covered the table, my daughter's cellphone, my other daughter's purses, and the surrounding area before the bag ultimately dropped onto the floor. I understand that accidents happen, and we would have been much more understanding if this had simply been an unavoidable mistake. However, Nathan could clearly see that the bag was leaking. Instead of setting it back down immediately to prevent a bigger mess, he continued moving it, which caused the bag to burst and spill everywhere. That is what made this situation so frustrating. Rather than handling the situation with urgency or concern, Nathan simply left the spilled bag on the floor, grabbed another bag from a nearby table, and continued packing the food. He apologized, but no one offered towels, extra napkins, assistance with cleaning up, or any type of compensation. We were left to clean the mess ourselves using the napkins already on the table. The only thing that was cleaned was the floor. An employee came over with a dirty mop and bucket and mopped around us while we were still trying to gather our belongings and clean ourselves up. Not once did anyone ask if my daughter was okay or show any real concern for the damage to her phone or our belongings. When my other daughter's purses were covered in the spilled food and liquid, the only thing Nathan offered was a rag and a bottle of Windex, which was completely inappropriate considering the situation. My daughter's phone is now displaying a liquid detection warning in the charging port and may need to be replaced because of the spill. Sadly, this isn't our first negative experience with Nathan. Every time we've had him as our server, he has had an attitude and wears an earbud throughout the entire meal, which comes across as unprofessional and inattentive. Since gratuity was automatically included, it honestly felt like there was little concern about providing quality customer service. We chose Aloha Krab to celebrate with our family, but instead we left frustrated and disappointed. We hope management takes this complaint seriously, addresses this incident appropriately, and reaches out regarding the damage to my daughter's phone. After this experience, we have decided that we will not be returning to Aloha Krab. What should have been a special family celebration turned into a frustrating and disappointing experience. We expected much better service and professionalism, especially after spending over $600. We hope management takes the necessary steps to ensure no other family has to experience what we did.

Last Friday was one of those days we knew we needed to order out, but we were well on track to make a whole evening out of fretting over where to go. I don't know what it is, but sometimes absolutely nothing in the world sounds good. By some act of god, I remembered this place and our evening was saved. Their menu changes weekly, so we referred to their Facebook page for this week's options. I've only heard great things about them, so I had no question whatever we ordered would be good. No prices on their website, and money was definitely an issue on the eve of the St. Patrick's Day Parade, so we made kind of a flow chart in case pricing got crazy. Placing the order over the phone was difficult. They couldn't understand us, and they had to run every question by somebody else and get back to us. We ordered the jerk chicken and smothered pork combos, then threw in a pint of shrimp fried rice. I wish I could have tried everything; it was really tough coming to a decision. Cash only. I read so many reviews and everything they had online and didn't see this mentioned. Luckily I had just hit the ATM for the parade. The place is pretty small, take-out only. Easy parking, easy in and out. Everyone's super friendly. A lot of the appeal is how clearly they take pride in what they do. All around it just seems incredibly authentic and like nobody's cutting corners. So the food was great all around. We'd eaten garbage all week and were really going for that fresh, wholesome feeling, and they delivered in every way. The only hiccup was that they gave us Smothered Chicken (I think) instead of Smothered Pork. They labeled the box SP, but put the wrong thing in it. I was disappointed to see it because the pork was the first thing I knew for sure I wanted to get. Six seconds into the meal though, I truly didn't even care anymore. It was absolutely amazing. So tender it came right off the bone. It has to be the best I've ever felt about a chicken thigh entrée. I've only tried Jerk Chicken a few times, and mostly from a few Jamaican restaurants right here in town. I never really understood the point of it, like the taste just never amounted to anything I cared about. One bite of this one and it all made sense. Like, I now understand what they're going for with the flavor. Same perfectly tender chicken, and we absolutely loved the taste of both. We were curious about how the Shrimp Fried Rice would shake out with soul food, and it's definitely unique from Chinese takeout. Nowhere near as greasy, and it had a more savory, mildly smoky taste to it. No conflict with the beds of rice our entrées came on either. This wasn't our favorite fried rice, but it was good to have with our meals. My favorite side was the baked beans. Perfect texture, amazing taste. So soft and yet, so completely distinct. Didn't even know I could enjoy plain no-frills baked beans this much. The collard greens and yams were about average. I think for yams I'm used to a lot more butter and sugar than these ones had. Collard greens were just straightforward as well, no taste outside the greens themselves. Texture couldn't have been better though. Mac and cheese was good, but well past al dente. Super soft and didn't really pack enough flavor to make it top tier. The cornbread is standard issue - really soft and pretty dry with just the regular cornbread taste. I'd love to try some of the other things on the menu, but probably wouldn't for the price. There's nothing here I wouldn't be absolutely excited to have, but the experience wasn't profound enough to pull us back for $25 a plate.
