Absolutely WONT go anywhere else! I love everyone here and have been coming here for years, I never make an appointment as I'm so busy I just walk in when I'm available. I have friends that live farther away then Oconomowoc, so it's inconvenient for them to come here. I still refuse to get a fill anywhere else when I go with them to get their nails done. Joli has been doing my nails for about half a year now and every time they are perfect! She completely understands I'm a perfectionist, and my nails are always so long, today I got them cut short (short for me) and I love them!!! Amy is so awesome with accommodating big groups and coming up with awesome ideas for nail designs, she always bubbly and happy to help with anything you might need, remembering almost every returning customers names, which makes you feel so comfortable when you walk in! Making an appointment is a breeze, and understanding them is a breeze (important to some because some accents are hard to understand, and makes getting your nails done awkward). My mom and I went in today and I was not disappointed! She is so indecisive so picking a color is hard for her. She left it up to Linda who came up with a BEAUTIFUL summer marble color design! 10/10 I recommend this business over and over again! I have been going to this salon for months. I thought I was a valued customer, but found out today that my business means nothing. I had an appointment at 1pm, that I scheduled. I got there on time and was left sitting for over 30 minutes when I approached the manager, Molly, asking what was the delay. I got a blow off answer, and was told it will be a bit longer. at that point, I was angry, because my time is important to me and I don't have all day to wait for their poor scheduling. Angrily, I went back to my seat and another employee,Sam, approached me and basically said that if I wasn't happy with the way things are, I should leave and go somewhere else! I thought, really! My loyalty to this salon meant nothing after years of service. I left there, and was crying. I cried for a long time after knowing that months and years of service to this salon meant nothing. Beware, people, your loyalty means nothing. I will never walk into this place again. read more

I will never go back here to get my nails done. After less than a week I had cracking. I went back to have the multiple cracked nails fixed. The. After another week almost all of my nails had chipped and a layer of some kind of clear polish over the dipping was falling off. I went back to say I want them taken off at no charge especially being that 3 of the nails were just done a week ago. The guy blankly stared at me. I said if you are going to charge me I will just go somewhere else and give them my money to do so. He just stood there and let me leave so it is beyond evident that cq does not care about their clients satisfaction. We came in for full sets and a pedicure. 1. The girl doing the pedicure was the only nice thing 2. My lady didn't talk, was very judgemental by my daughter getting nails (made comments constantly about how she would never and she's too young and "that's not good". 3. Took almost 2 hours to do a set on my daughter and he never even put the acrylic powder on. Just glued and dipped about 30 times. At first my daughter showed him a picture and he did the very opposite then was mad that he has to start over. She showed him a picture for a reason The staff would give each other manicures during customer time. Looks bad. And they are constantly on their phones. Even during appointments. read more

I was a regular customer until tonight. I needed a couple of nails fixed with shellac, and the guy who had to do it seemedlike he was so pissed off at me. He kept nodding his head, sighed extra loudly and kept rolling his eyes. On top of that he didn't even bother matching the colors so now I have a few completely different nails. I've never felt so unwelcome there before and I just can't go back after that. I'm really sad and wish things would've been different. The customer service was really friendly and fast but the nails didn't turn out quite as good as I'd hoped. I definitely wish I didn't have to pay as much as I did because it was kind of a waste. They have incredibly fair pricing here, especially for what you get. Their pedis are phenomenal and I love the massage and extras that you can choose from. Service is fast and the nail techs are personable. I won't go anywhere else in the Lake Country area. read more

I had two appointments scheduled prior to walking in and giving CQ Nails a chance, I'm so glad I did! My nail tech "Sam" was not only friendly but was not at all bothered by my questions and wants of what I wanted and helped me get exactly what I was looking for. The atmosphere was very friendly and the salon so clean; the receptionist was very attentive in greeting and attending not only to my needs but the many needs of other customers around her. I highly recommend coming hereto anyone who is looking for quality with affordable pricing and unlimited options with the talent here.The level of customer service from all the staff and the beautiful work Sam providing today for me has made me a loyal customer. I would love to give this place a good rating but more than once now they have kept us waiting 45 min or more past our appointment time. They tend to do a good job if you can ever get seated but they always overbook themselves and have no problem having you wait a long time to get seated. read more

The woman who handles the reception area is so rude. On numerous occasions she has been short with us and not polite at all. I'm not sure where she learned her manners, or should I say lack of, but she needs a recap on how to treat people. I think from now on I'll avoid this place until she gets replaced. Also you get better service when the owner is there. When she's not the service is hit or miss. read more

I have been here before and had good service. But this last time I walked out because I was 8 minutes late for my appointment and after being told I just had to wait 10 minutes, I waited for 45 minutes. I know that I was late but don't tell me 10 minutes if its 45. They overbook all the nail techs. I don't think I will be returning. read more

I got my nails done here a couple weeks ago with a friend. I got a full set of acrylics and she got hers filled. My acrylics are bumpy and uneven. The day after we got them done, my friends nail broke, that shouldn't happen. I had mine on for only 7 days and the whole acrylic nail fell off randomly, not just on 1 finger on multiple! I've never ever had any of my acrylic nails fall off! I would not recommend getting your acrylic nails done here! WASTE OF MONEY read more

First of all I got a guy that could barely speak or understand English. Makes communicating your wants next to impossible. When I walked out, I took a good look at my nails which I had been growing out for this occasion. He had filed them down below my fingertips. There was polish on my skin that he did not clean off. AND he did not cover my entire nail in polish. When I complained, the manager said " That's the way it's supposed to be. It looks elegant." ELEGANT? It looks like crap. My 12 year old granddaughter could have done a better job. NEVER AGAIN!! read more

Pedicure was the worse I have ever had. I took my husband with me so he could have a pedicure too. When the next customer came in the lady at the front desk must of said something about us. They all looked our way and laughed. And to top it off she overcharged me. read more

It made me give this place one star to post this review but that is completely false. If I could give this place negative stars I would. I only went there twice and both times were a horrible experience. The first time I went there to get gel nails. When I got there they moved me through very quickly, my nails were un even in length, and some were crooked. I went back a second time hoping the experience would be better. But the second time was worse. I asked to have Crome powder on only 2 of my nails and she still charged me the full $10 extra, and on top of that the lady doing my nails put on the wrong color. And when I told her this she got very upset and argued with me about it. And then proceeded to snap at me and be extremely rude and unpleasant. It was the worst experience I have ever had getting my nails done. And when one of the nails popped off about 2 weeks later, my real nail underneath was a dark nasty brown. I went in to a different nail place and had them all taken off, I now have a fungus ON EVERY. ONE. OF MY NAILS. The nail techs proceeded to tell me that whoever had done my nails the last time had not bothered to take off any of the old nail besides the polish (which they also said wasn't gel) and they just put more product over the old nail and didn't bother to check for lifting or anything. So now I had to get all my nails taken off and deal with a nail fungus which I have never had before. I will never come to this place again and I will make sure I let other people know not to come here as well. -20 stars.. read more
