The install was smooth and any issues were always addressed immediately. Fast forward to 2021 and we moved out of Arizona for nearly a year. Even before we got back to AZ, we called Brad directly to set things into motion for a solar system for the new house we purchased. Again, everything went smoothly, everyone I've met during this process has been wonderful. From start to finish, the whole process took 93 days and we turned our system on today! I had a terrible experience with a different solar company while I was living out of state and they were a nightmare to work with. We are so happy to be back in Arizona and enjoying another Arizona Solar Wave system.

That is a sign of a business trying to grow to fast. The solar power market is in fast motion, we get it. But more than 2 months of not responding to my email to get our 54k system fixed isn't right. When we call, the "cute" voice message says (paraphrasing) too busy to read emails, I won't even get to your voice mail, so text me. Not a great business practice. Think I am exaggerating? Try it - 480 721 4029 At the 5 year point, 3 of our 5 strings of panels failed. We were producing less than 40% of what we paid for, and the bill to us was $3,800 (reduced by their good graces). When the failing pieces were removed, not replaced, there was evidence of fire, on my roof, by their product. When I asked about the warranty, I was texted a phone number, not even a company name and told I could try if I wanted. The new solar panels I was purchasing to replace the fire damaged (from the solar power system) were clearly used. Previous mounting marks, dust and bird droppings. The pictures show the difference for how we have cared for our system and what was put in as a replacement. Changing my review from a 5 star to a 1 star.

Solar Topps Review I…read morewas very happy with the installation itself, and my sales advisor, Sean, has been great throughout the process. He's been responsive and has done his best to communicate my concerns to customer service. However, my experience with customer service after the sale has been disappointing. After my second set of solar panels and Tesla batteries was installed, I received a false heat alarm from the sensor mounted above my four Tesla batteries. I reported the issue and was scheduled for service on July 14. In the meantime, I had a mini-split installed in my garage. After that installation, my Tesla solar app began acting abnormally. Solar Topps was aware of both the heat alarm and my concerns about the system before my July 14 appointment. I wasn't asking them to fix the HVAC installation--I simply wanted them to verify that the Tesla programming and configuration were still correct and that nothing had been affected during the mini-split installation. On the morning of my scheduled appointment, I was informed that it had been rescheduled to July 17 without my approval. I immediately responded by text, email, and phone to explain that I could not make July 17 because I had already taken time off work for July 14 and had planned my day around the appointment. Despite that, they would not keep the original appointment. I was also disappointed that they declined to inspect the software or system programming, stating only that Tesla said nothing was wrong. As a customer who has invested a significant amount of money in this system, I don't think it's unreasonable to ask for confirmation that everything is still configured correctly. The installation quality deserves credit, and Sean deserves recognition for his professionalism. Unfortunately, my post-installation customer service experience has left me feeling that once the sale is complete, customer support is much less responsive. I hope Solar Topps improves how they handle existing customers because good service after the installation is just as important as the installation itself. Solar Topps - LOOK NO FURTHER (unless you have time to waste!)…read more I found Solar Topps via Google Search. I called and discussed my needs which was to remove my current solar system for a reroofing job, then to reinstall it. The folks I worked with at Solar Topps were patient and understanding. Even better, their quote was the most competitive! I really like the way it felt like I was speaking with a local business as opposed to some giant corporate owned behemoth looking to swallow my money. Once I agreed to move forward, a start date was discussed and the crew showed up right on time. The crew was very professional, VERY busy and each day they cleaned up after themselves. My solar panels (75) were stacked on pallets like they were new, with great care. My roof was completed and the time came for the solar system to be reinstalled. Again the crew was timely, professional and cleaned up EVERY DAY when done. Now for why Solar Topps should be your first choice for your solar needs - All new hardware was used to put up the panels. During the process, it was noted that the wiring for the system was not up to date and in need of improvement. Solar Topps took extra time to reconfigure the wiring to bring it up to 2026 standards. The system is only 5 years old. Also, while in the process of getting the three system inverters back online after performing firmware updates (something they didn't have to do, but did because they truly care about doing the job right), one of the inverters refused to cooperate and it refused to come back online. Neil the Engineer spent almost three hours working to recover the inverter's function and finally succeeded. He saved me over $1000, where he could have given up and sold me a replacement inverter! The original installer never told me that the inverter's performance are visible via an app, so I could monitor their function. Neil pointed out that this function is available and got everything set up for me and directed me to the app so I could sign up and log in. So not only did Solar Topps complete the job, they improved the performance of my system, updated the firmware of my inverters and brought the wiring up to 2026 standards.....all for the original price for the job!!! I am a retired Service Manager for Rolls Royce Motorcars. The dealer where I worked was in Manhattan, New York. Thermo S and another company's estimates came back close but with very different approaches to cooling down a bedroom that was always hot. In the end, we decided Thermo's solution sounded more logical. In the end we went with Thermo S because of Caden's expertise with duct work. He recommended duct sealing and adding an extra vent in addition to insulation. Day of, the team showed up on time, did the work efficiently, and cleaned up their mess. The difference was instant. The air felt cooler coming out of the ducts, the A/C comes on less, the hot bedroom is cooler, and the house is quieter. I do have bad allergies/chemical sensitivities and the duct sealing was rough but after 3-4 days the smell faded and it's been fine.
