The gentleman was very nice, but took a long time to go over all their wonderful aspects of their company. Which personally I wasn't impressed by that. You can tell me the APS really backs you up, and supports the star energy rating. Well, looking at other reviews, I'm very happy I'm not going with them. The frustrating part is the customer service; After trying to reset the system several times, I used my Tesla App to reach out to customer support, however their response time to my query was 5-7 business days. I had to wait till Monday March-16-2026 to speak to one of their team members, after ~ 30 mins of hold/talk time they enabled me to schedule an appointment through my Tesla App. The appointment currently is for April-22nd-2026. They need ~ 5 weeks to have their technician come and take a look at what exactly is the issue ! This is just for assessing/investigating the issue, most probably some hardware component of the inverter needs to be replaced, which may take more time since Tesla needs to order the failed parts. I regret my decision to go with Tesla Solar system, I did not do my research well before deciding on the vendor. This is a lesson learnt the hard way for me. After sales service is an important aspect before we buy any thing which has a high probability of failures.

When they bid the work, I found the price reasonable and inline with market expectations. When Shadrach arrived, he immediately went to work. While here, he highlighted an additional piece. I completely agreed with the additional piece and asked for the work to be done. When I received the invoice, I worked with Steven, the field supervisor, in a very amicable manner. Simply put, they know what they are doing and they are very fair and honest. If I ever need electrical work again, I will certainly call T&K Electric. I must also point out I had to ask T&K to return. After the roofing and the electrical work, summer arrived. My air conditioning did not function. T&K returned as if it was simply expected. Steven conducted the inspection. He reported his findings and said he went as far as an electrician could go. When the HVAC company arrived, the HVAC technician showed me the defective part and stated clearly why the part failed. Meaning the issue was solely a result of HVAC normal wear and tear. I found working with T&K Electrical very comforting. Even when the issue didn't involve them, they were very willing to investigate. I spent hours trying get this fixed and I have the professional version adobe - something seems fishy here. Anyhow, after thoroughly reading - and after they kept saying you can buy it out in 5 years - well not really accurate. There is a 5 year buy out on 25 years contract but its their option not yours. They could make you do the whole 25 years. Second they stated Fair Mark Value at 5 years. Well its not the value of just hardware - it states "This valuation will take into account the System's age, location, conditions, size, and other market characteristics such as equipment type, service costs, and value of electricity in your area, and any applicable incentives" which means what this could have produced. I honestly feel this company is not being forthright - I would stay away from them.
