We researched a number of Solar providers and selected Simple Solar for our project. They provided a number of different options (system scale, size, panel locations) until we settled on the final design. They use top quality components and I preferred their solution for sealing the roof penetrations compared to the other companies we spoke with. They provided a turnkey solution, handling all of the required paperwork including working with our HOA to get the project approved. Their communications were great throughout the entire project and their post-installation follow-up has been good so far. The performance is guaranteed and the system is producing to expected levels. The APP on my phones gives a good overview of the system health/status. To avoid huge electric bills each month, we decided to look into solar panels for our home in the Phoenix area as well as a second home we purchased in Prescott. Based on recommendations from some friends, we talked with Garrett at Simple Solar and he was helpful and knowledgeable without being pushy at all. He followed through quickly with some designs, quotes and timelines and we found the price quoted was reasonable. After talking with him again, we decided to move forward with solar panels for both houses. We really liked and trusted Garrett and his professionalism, and also liked that the company could install solar panels on our house in Prescott as well as our house in the Phoenix area. Everyone at the company from that point forward was awesome - from Joe who came out to each of our houses and walked the roofs and came up with designs that would work best with each house, to the installers themselves, to Craig, who followed through with the nuts and bolts of moving the installations forward for each house. We had one snafu in our Phoenix house, where the installation apparently pressed into one of the electrical wires going into our kitchen, cutting off our lighting in one area of the kitchen. We called Craig as soon as we discovered the problem and he had someone from their company come out the next day to check into the issue. When that employee couldn't solve the problem, Craig hired an electrical specialist outside the company to come over to our house the next business day. The electrical specialist figured out the likely source of the problem and fixed it. What impressed us about the company's integrity was that they handled the problem quickly and paid for the specialist themselves, even though we couldn't really prove that the problem happened during the solar installation (the wiring was inside a wall). (We were not there when the panels were installed, and didn't realize the problem until we returned to our Phoenix house a month after the panels had been installed.). It would have been easy for the company to nickel and dime us but they didn't. Bottom line - we have been thrilled with our decision and the results - it's great to now get cash credit back from APS each month rather than paying hundreds of dollars each month in electric bills. Also, the jobs were not only completed within the timeline Garrett initially provided to us, but were completed well in advance of the timelines. Highly recommend this company. read more
