Be very careful. Solar Sandy does not follow through with the promises in her ads. She does not follow through with much of anything. She still owes me $1400 in unpaid electric and promotion promise. My installer told me her clients complain about her all the time. I never got the promised tax rebate because she did not give me the promised information needed to file. My tax request by thee IRS was denied. Now I'm dealing with her payment company, MOSAIC, that has as bad customer service as she does. They are forcing my hand to pay in full in spite of the fact I did not get the tax rebate. So they are raising my rate. That's fine, but its all be super shady. BEWARE and read the fine print. Sandy talks about of both sides of her mouth. She does a great job for all of her "friends"....James T Harris, Clay and Buck...all her advertisers. Read those 5's carefully. I heard about Solar Sandy on 550 AM. I called her and set an appointment. She provided me with a quote and information on the process. She explained her background and her theory on why she selected the number of panels and what the target for production will look like. I have a background in Solar Sales back in 2014. Since then, a lot has changed. She provided me with information suitable to my need and so we went with her plan and signed the contracts to get this going. I debated between 4 and 5 stars based on one thing: The radio ads say you won't have a payment for one year. For us, this was not exactly true. We do have some payments now that it is up and running (This week). I inquired from Sandy on this and she explained that she created a savings which reduced our monthly bill. The savings was equal to a bit more than our total first year of billing. I accepted her explanation but hearing those ads makes me feel like it is not 100% true because payments are made in the first year. I just have a years worth of payments saved from the cost of the unit. Back to the positive. During my building of my unit from start to finish, I had some issues with the company selected to install. Mostly communication problems with them. When I had such problems I could simply text Sandy, day or night, and she would respond to me quickly and provide me with help. She would contact the install company and have them reach out to me in a timely manner. She gave me a name and number for a rep working with her on my project. That helped too. When the install company (A Separate Review for them) had a problem which set me back a few months, Sandy helped me in this process. She had the install company pay for my first bill when it was due. She also sent my wife and I a rather generous gift card to make amends for the frustration of the delay in finishing the project. All said and done, my project is completed and I am not on solar power. To be fair, some of the issues with the install were out of her and the install companies power (no pun intended). It had to do with getting APS and the County Inspector to be present for a change in my breaker box. That change also ended in a screw breaking which made the job incomplete. We had to wait a month and a half for the APS and Inspector to reschedule just to complete this needed step. Over all, I highly recommend Solar Sandy. She has been good from start to finish and very encouraging. I plan to give a follow up review in one year from now to state how on track her planned system is for our family. read more

After lots of research we had solar installed with Solar Sandy last year to mitigate the increasing APS bills. Our system was installed quickly; however, we did have an issue with our demand manager not being installed properly and shutting off the power to our master bedroom instead of the A/C unit during high demand. They came out several times to try and fix the issue, after about a year it was finally fixed. Sandy prides herself on not being like the rest of the Solar companies that take advantage of people. Turns out she is just like them. We signed up with Sandy because she offered to pay two years of our bills. After receiving three months' worth of reimbursement checks the payments stopped. When I reached out to her about it, she stated that we had to provide her with two referrals and leave a good review on Google and the BBB to continue receiving payments. This is something that was never discussed and we never agreed to. She will lie and try to turn it around on us. I told her that I'm not happy with the service and would not feel comfortable leaving a good review, she in turn said that we will not be getting anymore payments until we gave her what she wanted. Bottom line is Sandy did not live up to her end of the deal. If you do go with this company, make sure you get the promotion in writing so Sandy can't take advantage of you! First, she claimed she responds to issues immediately, but I had already contacted her staff about why I was not getting responses. I was told they were getting a whole new email system and to be patient. My issue was that the company who managed my installation was represented as a foreign company or of South Africa, SoleanEnergy, LLC, WHICH ISN'T FOUND WITH WITH THE AZCC, not even as a foreign corporation. I was then referred back to SoleanEnergy as they were the installers, because the system wasn't generating any solar power. The person I dealt with was Kevin Jackson who managed the installation, which has never been completed, but came to try to service the system after no power generation. Now I've been told by AZCC that SoleanEnergy downtime exist. When Solar Sandy personally came to my house, I trusted her right away. She took time to explain the process and offered to pay for our first two years of our solar loan. So, I heard their ad on the radio and thought I would try and see what they could offer. I completed the information on their website, and in the section I could make a request I asked for an email with the information they came up so I could review and prepare when they called and went over my quote. Never received anything back. A person called back within a couple of days to schedule a video conference to go over the quote the had. I asked for the quote to be emailed so I could review and prepare for the meeting. Still, no quote. The day before the meeting I received a call to tell me they would need to reschedule the meeting, which I understand that things come up. I didn't know when I had free time for the meeting so they said they would call in a couple of days. Two weeks later they called back. I told them I never received the quote, they are now calling after two weeks to reschedule, so I wasn't interested. I spoke with Sandy and the call went well as she answered my questions. I gave her all the information she wanted and asked for the report she said she creates. I asked for it to be emailed to me to review, however, before giving me the report she wanted to meet with me in person to go over it. After my insistence to email it to me before meeting with her, she agreed to email it to me to review before our meeting. We scheduled the day and time to meet at an agreed-upon​ Panera Bread two days after our phone call. I rearranged my schedule to make the time for her. My wife and I showed up on the day and time agreed upon. However, Sand​y did not, nor did I receive the report she committed to emailing me. While at Panera Bread I called her number and upon speaking with her assistant in her office it was told to me that our meeting was not on her calendar and that she does not email reports prior to the ​meeting. I was met with resistance upon stating that Sandy agreed to email it to me to review prior to meeting in person. It is now another day and have heard nothing from Sandy or her office and realize now that she does now seem to have the integrity of the person that I want to do business with and would caution anyone who hears her on the radio to be aware that she may be a no show if you meet her any place other than your home. She prefers to meet at your home and does not want to give you the report she talks about until she meets with you, I guess she doesn't believe we can understand it, so she has to interpret it for us. I suggest if you do try to do business with her that you get the report prior to meeting her so you can review it and form questions to ask her if and when you meet her. She likes to say that she is only educating others, however, you may find, as I have, that her approach is only the way to get into the door of your house.
