Overpriced roofing with poor installation. I had two representatives sell us an Owens Corning roof which they claim to be the best in protection and quality. After the first heavy rain in winter, our ceilings were DRIPPING IN WATER. The representatives no longer work there due to misconduct, client complaints and unlicensed sale representation. After repeated calls & texts to CPR, they finally came to fix the roof. Unfortunately, the roof KEPT LEAKING!! They finally came after multiple repeated calls and texts again. I added another star in to this review because they finally came to fix the roof again, added anti-septic/beach (?), and repaired my ceiling. Let's see what happens after the next rainfall, but for an overpriced roof, don't understand why they couldn't have done it correct the first time. AVOID CPR!! read more

CPR Home Solutions - Leaking ceiling after "new roof" - Roofing Near Me

I want to potentially save some one from having the same experience I had. On 9/28/2024 I made a contractual agreement with CPR for all new windows. The timeline of the contract was "4 to 6 weeks". On 1/4/2025 over three months later the windows were finally completed. This was my experience: 9/28/2024 Anthony came to our home with another team member "in training". We went over the specifics for Black Vinyl Windows and he walked me through the contract and timeline. And of course, the cash deposit. 10/1/2024 Anthony contacts me to do the re-measure for the windows to submit for order on 10/1/2024. 10/8/2024 Anthony contacts me to contact me for 2nd Payment which was in the contract. I paid. From 10/8/2024-11/8/2024 There was NO COMMUNICATION. This was at the 5-to-6-week mark. He let me know windows "would be ready Friday". Which it already was Friday implying installation would happen the next day which would be 11/9/2024. I called him on the phone, and he let me he would call me at 8am as the window team would be at my home around 9am. 11/9/2024 We wake up early to get our home prepped for the windows, but we didn't receive a call. Once again, it was I who had to reach out. I made contact with Anthony who informed me they were "running late". Within the hour he calls me back to let me know there was a mistake with our windows and that they were made in white and not black. But "If I wanted them, they could install them". I let him know that is not what we agreed on and the windows were supposed to black to match the aesthetics of the home. He said he was going to look back at the order and contract because "the manufactures drop the ball, so this falls on them" which I was very disappointed because the lack of communication was from him and CPR. He explains he is going to look into this and apologize and that he would contact me by end of day and provide me with the order receipt. 11/14/2024 I make contact again. He's apologetic and he then confirms "windows black on the outside and white on the inside, right?". At this point I am extremely frustrated because this means all black windows, I trusted them to order have not even been prepared and we are past the 4-6 weeks contractual agreement. I could have been asked them when I gave him the deposit and second payment. He was once again apologetic and did offer to match the other companies that made a bid for windows on my home. 12/4 Installation date. 12/5 I notice one of the windows is defective. I take a photo and send it to Anthony. He wants to come look at the window. But we don't schedule a date. 12/7 Anthony texts me, not to follow up on the window but because "Ryan's Partner" is asking for the FINAL PAYMENT. I let him know we have not done a final walk through; I have a defective window and I yet to receive the warranty information for the windows. I then let him know "Ryan's Partner" can contact me directly and he provides me "TANIA'S" number. 12/7 I text her directly regarding all the issues and all she is concerned about it getting paid. She wants to schedule on her time so she can collect the final payment. I let her know I needed the walk-through and the warranty information. We schedule an appointment for 12/14 at 6am. 12/14 at 6am comes and of course her and her team are running late. The lack of consideration of someone's time especially when she knows I am not happy with the delays and lack of communication. They arrive, they do the inspection and confirm the window is defective. It needs to be replaced which means the job is NOT COMPLETED, Tania still has the audacity to ask for FINAL PAYMENT. I put my foot down and let her no, NO! Especially, since I still hadn't received warranty information. Instead, I paid her 75% of the balance which left a balance of $1,000. She agreed. 12/15 We finally receive the warranty. I also sent her a video that some of the trim on the window was already falling off and she let me know she would send one to repair which she did, and they repaired on 12/21. 12/30 I reach out for status as I had not heard anything, and she informed me it was not ready but should be ready the following Saturday, but she would let me know as soon as it was ready in order to schedule an appointment. Once again, it was always me reaching out for updates/status. 1/4/2025 I received a text in the evening from "NELLY" who confirmed her team was there, at my home, unannounced and that they had installed the new window. I was never made aware of this. 1/6 Tania texts me letting me know she was aware the window is done and wants to know when she can collect final payment. DON'T GIVE THEM ANY MONEY UNTIL YOU HAVE IT IN WRITING. If I hadn't held the money, I believe they would have never completed the job. TWO Stars because the windows to make the home look great. I just wish it would have been a better experience. I appreciate you making it this far. read more

In the beginning all was good but.......when the project began on my roof there was no communication. I had to call to find out where it stands. When they would be out? When inspections? Roof torn off and then rain and no coverage. I called and they sent someone out and brought the wrong material. They broke one of my window awnings when tearing off the roof. When job was done I had to call them out several times because things weren't done. They left hundreds of nails in our grass that we had to find before one of the dogs would step on them or the gardener would run them over and get hurt. The last thing was we had a fascia in the back of our garage that they removed and never put it back. I called many times, they came out and never did anything. They said it was not there before. I sent pictures it was and still nothing. I will never do business with them. Oh, I also asked them for an invoice of completion and it took forever. The employee attempted to BREAK INTO MY HOME A Male Hispanic between 5'9"-6', mustache and beard, between 35-45 years old, brown complexion, wearing a white hat and a dark shirt with the CPR Home Renovations logo on both approached my front door. He noticed no cars were in the driveway nor parked in front of my home and made his way to my front door. He rang the doorbell, knocked on the door and twisted the door knob several times to see if the door was unlocked!!! As soon as he saw my neighbor across the street, he took off. As a solicitor #1 you are not welcomed at my home! #2 all this happened in a matter of 3 seconds, #3 I got you on camera you POS! Who sends out their employees to promote their business in this manner?! Who trains these employees to ring the door bell, knock on the door, and try to force entry by pursuing to twist and turn the doorknob! I honestly hope this place falls to shambles and goes bankrupt. I will be contacting local authorities with the surveillance I have as proof and reporting you! I'm glad my door was locked because if it wasn't, I'm positive he would have gone in and ransacked my home and stolen everything I have. Fortunately, my neighbor was across the street who probably made him nervous and he left within seconds. Figured he wouldn't get anywhere with our neighborhood watch. Save yourself the headache and hire a professional roofing company. CPR Home Solutions does NOT care about what your house looks like when they are "finished". They damaged other parts of the house and were reluctant to fix them. I had to patch in the hole in the interior ceiling that they mistakenly made, nails popping through the interior ceiling. They have no pride in their work/craftsmanship, so I ended up fixing it all. It also took me many days to clean up the interior of the house after they finally left. DON'T go by the Google review, as customers can't leave reviews. On top of this horrible experience, I had a lien notice on my property from the supplier. NOT a pleasant experience dealing with Ryan and CPR. I assume my warranty will never work if there are issues down the road as others are complaining about no response from the company. read more

STAY AWAY!!! CPR Home Solutions Owner (Ryan) is completely irresponsible to his customers. At the beginning of my relationship ship with CPR all my calls were answered, texts replied to. Of course, they wanted my 23,000+ business to replace my roof. Now 3 years later an area on the roof has some shingles lifted off due to some bad weather this year. I've been trying to get in touch with Ryan or anybody at CPR to have my roof fixed through the 50 year warranty that came with the job and none of my calls have been picked up nor my texts replied to. What's worse is that I've referred 2 of my friends to CPR in the last 2 years and they've got their roofs redone as well. I need to get in touch with them and have them do their due diligence on the job they had done to their homes. Just a little update, the owner does not care about you once the job is done. The $500 was not compensation, it was hush money. They wanted to offer me $500 so that I would not contact the CSLB and put a point on their company name. He finally contacted us about "trying" to take care of us and offered us reimbursement of just the wood (Would pay for parts and labor) like I had originally offered but never heard back from him. He gave some sob story about his office being broken into as well car which someone stole his keys and laptop. The kind guy that I am gave him a little time to gather his finances and work with him again but obviously that didn't work. Have sent him emails but wont respond. It sucks that I now have to take time of my life to go to the CSLB, BBB and small claims just to get some contact from him. Again, PLEASE STAY AWAY from this company. Fantastic experience from the top down for my new tex*cote paint job! Michael walked up to my house on a Friday and I met with Henry (sales guy) on Saturday and my project got started on Thursday. Henry noted all my concerns about my project as far as the house not being uniform and level and the color matching concerns. He gave me a color match guarantee which thankfully wasn't needed! The salesman came out and was very nice, we came to agreement on $25,000 for a new roof. He did tell us if there are repairs it may be around $500/additional wood replacement. Then they came back to my mom and said it will cost $5000 for more material, my mother paid them. The roof is done and now she received a notice of a lien on the house for non-payment for material. Which was paid to the roofing company. She called the roofing company and they said "oh it happens all the time". No help from them. So basically they did not pay the company for the material. And now she has a lien and is responsible for another $5000. Very shady and taking advantage of the elderly again! Watch out for this supposedly "great company "! We live in an older home (1956) and needed many upgrades. We needed a new roof, windows, exterior painting, and concrete work (driveway and patio). We dreaded speaking to all the different contractors we would need to interview and get estimates from. This is why we had put the projects off for so long. One day we got a knock on the door from a a nice young person who was a representative from CPR Home Solutions. He informed us that CPR could take care of all the projects that we needed completed. So we set an appointment for a representative to come out. That representative was Ryan. Ryan seemed to instantly seem to understand our needs and also why we had put off these pretty major projects for so long. Ryan took his time to not only explain each project, but also laid out a plan to tackle these multiple projects. Once Ryan quickly got us approved for the financing we needed we first began with the roof. The roof went smoothly and we were excited to get the rest of the projects finished. Next, we did the concrete work and then an exterior coating, which came out immaculately. Finally the windows were finished being made and were installed. Our house was an eye catcher now! Needless to say, my wife was extremely happy. Oh yeah, we also ended up, adding attic insulation at Ryan's recommendation. And, we are glad we did. The insulation, exterior coating and new windows made a huge impact on our heating and cooling bills. Ryan held our hand throughout the projects and made sure his crews were on time, cleaned up daily and did excellent work. TRUE PROFESSIONALS! Now, there were some hiccups with getting materials and our availability, things out of all of our control, but Ryan was on top of everything, communicated with us at all times and worked hard to make sure everything went as smoothly as possible. Construction can be very stressful, but we feel Ryan helped alleviate those stresses as much as humanly possible. We have one of the most beautiful houses on our street now.
