Last March 2024, during an especially windy day a country club's tree came down and whacked the rear of my house, starting from the highest roof, ripping down wires and landed on my detached garage where it sat until PECO could make it safe. I initially gave the go ahead for my insurer, who I'll call SF, to send out a contractor to assess the damage. Well someone came out, slapped a tarp on the hole in the garage, but seemed dismissive of the house damage. And then I heard nothing for the longest time. So, getting concerned I called Impriano to get their opinion, as is my right, since I had a good experience with them 13 years ago with a new roof. Jack Impriano came out and did a very thorough inspection finding a lot more damage than SF's contractor did, including a split rafter in the garage roof. He looked at the plan for repair that the adjuster had drawn up finding it completely inadequate, so he drew up his own. He basically worked directly with the adjuster, all while updating me about what was going on. There were many problems such as the SF contractor sending the wrong information to SF that led them to believe the work was complete when nothing was repaired. The contractors invoice included pictures that wasn't even my property. Jack Impriano handled everything, everything is repaired/replaced, their crew came out in the most inhospitable weather and did an excellent job. You could tell how well done my 13 year old roof was when shingles were removed. It's amazing how nice our new roof and siding looks. It's peace of mind working with a company that takes pride in their work, and there's good reason they've been around for so long. I didn't realize they also handle windows which is on my to do list. I don't think I would trust anyone else. Thank you Jack and Ed and the rest of your hard working crew, including the office, you guys were great, can't thank you enough.

The first company I called gave me an appointment a month away, only for a quote. The second company wanted my husband and I together so they could try to sell us a new roof. Havertown Roofing sent a man who swung by, climbed the ladder, hammered on new shingles, and left us an inexpensive bill. Highly impressed.

My experience with Havertown Roofing and Siding has been outstanding. From start to finish, Bill,…read morewas responsive, informative, and very effective. During a heavy windstorm five days before Christmas, a six-foot strip of aluminum flashing was dislodged from the roof of my house. Bill responded on the same day that I messaged him to request an on-site estimate to repair or replace the capping strip. The next day, he came to the house twice--first while my wife and I had made a brief run to the grocery store, when he quickly assessed the situation and called me with his proposed solution, and he returned shortly thereafter. Unlike other better known (and highly marketed) companies that insisted that the strip was not repairable and would need to be replaced with a custom-made new piece to be installed on a separate appointment date, Bill was able to restore the piece to its original shape and secure it in place--all in less than an hour. In his work, Bill is honest, professional and incredibly reasonable. He literally saved me at least $400 for the bare minimum replacement cost proposed by other companies and just about double that if I had agreed to the "better" option of replacing additional stretches of flashing. I would not hesitate to use Havertown Roofing and Siding again and would highly recommend it with confidence to others as well.

This is a family-owned business, father and three sons. They were so attentive getting back to me promptly after I called them. Big Jim came out with all the information I needed to know about the company and their work. He explained what they would do, how they would do it and when they would begin. I love the way my new siding looks, and the workmanship by his sons is beyond my expectations. I recommend this company without hesitation. They are Class 1 professionals. They are respectful and friendly, and I will definitely use them for future projects. Thank you so much We Care for being honest and qualified!

This is how a company should be! Wow! This company has the…read moreright name, because they really care! I called to get a estimate for my back door. It was more than just the door but the over hang as well. It had fell down and squirrels had made a home :( The gentleman that took the call gave the information to Jim. He is the father and the owner of the company. Jim called and set up a time to come look at the job. When he showed up, he felt like family. Coming in through the back of the house he looked at the work I wanted done. He sat down in my basement and told us what they would do, took pictures of the damage and dictated everything into a recorder about the whole process. We gave him a small deposit toward the job. He gave me a receipt. What I liked about Jim is he let me know what I needed and didn't need and was very upfront about the price. This company never stood us up. Came on time, did a great job. The door is beautiful as well. They even framed out and put up my old wrought iron screen door. They were even thoughtful enough to measure the peep hole to my height (I'm the shorty in the family). We also decided to let We Care do our roof. One of Jim's sons came out and video taped the roof. We looked at the tape and Jim went over the damage with us and gave us our options. WOW! It was nice to see the roof without climbing a ladder LOL! We decided on a 2 coat white Elastomeric Silicone roof because it helps keep the house cooler in the summer. They even treated the skylight. After it was all done they came back to my home and showed us the video of the completed roof and mailed us a copy of video. We Care is not the cheapest company I've come across. but they do quality work, respectful of your time, do follow up calls to make sure you are happy with their work and respectful of your property. This is so rare now adays! I wish they did more types of home improvements besides windows, doors, roofs etc. We Care is a family owned business with Jim (owner) and his 3 sons Justin, Jeff & James that have been in business for a few decades. As you can see, I would highly recommend them.

That seemed like a lot of money for a day's work, but I said 'So be it' to myself. He added that the price might be higher if he had to buy new wood and metal to do the job well. He then said that he would be 'hands-on' but, as soon as he dropped off his workers, he left the job and didn't come back. When he returned days later, he told me that I owed him another $2,200. When I balked at this, he got testy and, so, lowered the additional charge to $1,700 ('because I want to work for you again,' he said). I challenged him to itemize the extra costs. He said that the additional wood was $300 and the additional metal was $500. I asked what accounted for the other $900 that he was demanding. 'Additional labor costs,' was his answer. I pointed out that his initial price had to have included the laborers' pay for the day - and they finished the job before 5 pm. Tom started sulking; then he became irate: 'Just give me the $5,000 - forget the rest.' It was a good ploy. I felt sorry for him, so I wrote a check for $6,000 - not the $7,200 that he wanted nor the $6,700 that he then proffered as a compromise. A qualified professional, who knows my house, said that $5,000 for new gutters and general maintenance of the system was a very high but not completely unreasonable charge for the work. But Tom's demand for an additional $2,200, then $1,700, was, this professional said, outrageous: 'He saw that you willingly paid the $5,000, so he figured that he could extract another couple of thousand from you.' I liked Tom personally but regret paying him what I did. I urge, then, whomever might hire him to be strong in negotiating about the job - and not to give in to his emotional ploys to price gouge.
