If you're not familiar with these types of massage stations - most are like this one where the space is divided into different sections - some for two people, some for 4 people and then a row of reclining chairs. You are assigned a masseuse and then taken back to your area. They give you a bin to place your jacket, purse/bags and they place it under your massage table where you can see it while you are laying down. You stay fully clothed, and they place a thin blanket over you for during the massage. When you sign in you are asked what areas you'd like the masseuse to focus on. I chosen my back and shoulders. If you choose the same focus - I'd recommend wearing something sleeveless to make it easier and more effective for your masseuse to work your arms, neck and shoulder areas. The price is reasonable, especially in this economy! And because it's reasonable, I always tip very well. These masseuses work hard and really put their whole body into it! These are not the wimpy, spa kind of massages...these are the nice, strong kind with good pressure that really really melt your stress away! Although, you do have the chance to tell them at check-in what level of pressure/intensity and pace you prefer. I've never had a massage before and was quite nervous going into it because I was not sure what to expect. I scheduled with Erik (who is awesome!) and who was very calm and made my experience great! He asked what I needed work on, and then assessed it and told me the game plan! He did a great job working on my problem areas.
