I really like it here--probably one of the best massages I've had in the city. The place feels super clean, the staff were nice, and I walked out feeling way better than when I came in. They do have you pay upfront before the service, which felt a little odd, but not a deal breaker. The only real downside for me was the communication--it could definitely be better. There was a mix-up where they skipped the foot massage, which I was looking forward to. Not the end of the world since no time was taken away and the massage itself was still amazing. Fast, friendly and phenomenal experience. I slept wrong and had an awful knot in my back. I walked in and had a 30 minute massage to at least get some relief before a night out. They took me in right away. It was a great massage and I cannot wait to go back for a full massage where can relax and enjoy it and not just worry about immediate relief. read more

I just had a massage for the first time at NW Bliss Spa in Normandy Park. My massage therapist was Amy, and I can tell you she is knows her stuff. By the time I left my 90 minute session, I was like jelly. When I arrived, my muscles felt stiff and tense. When I left was so relaxed. Amy worked the knots out of my shoulders and back, where I hold a lot of stress. She walked on my back, that was a first, it was incredible. She also used the hot rocks. She gave me some great advice on how to reduce pain in my knee from a past injury and surgery. I definitely will be back as a regular, and when you tip, be generous, these ladies work so hard and we the clients, get so much benefit from a great massage! Thanks again Amy, you're the best! Not sure where these positive reviews come from. I got a massage yesterday and never going back again. One, the massage gal had long nails and they were digging into my skin. I felt really grossed out. Two, I don't think the girl was a professionally trained massage therapist. She was pushing on my spine and bones instead of muscles. Wouldn't a trained massage person know not to push on spine? They say they offer Swedish or deep tissue massage, but it was definitely not what I received. Three, as soon as I entered the place, I was asked if I was paying cash. She didn't show me the spa service menu with prices on it either. I asked how much for 1 hour and she said $60 because I was like will they be a different price if I don't ask beforehand? Don't worry, I tipped her good because I know they work for tips. But I left the place feeling gross. Not going back there again :( read more

We were visiting the Seattle area for a cruise to Alaska. I was so tense from the work week I had before vacation so we decided to get massages. My husband got a massage from Cindy and I got a massage from Heidi. They were the only 2 working and were very busy. But they still did an amazing job for both of us. Heidi got all of my knots out. I am so relaxed! Cindy walked on my husband's back since he likes a deep tissue massage. I highly recommend this place if you are in town or live here. Call ahead of time. My wife and I have been going to NW Bliss Spa for some time now. The ladies are experienced, skilled, respectful and attentive to your exact issues. Another thing we like is the cleanliness of the rooms, sheets and towels. They are always fresh and clean. They will ask new customers to pay in advance. A few days ago I saw Molly for a fantastic massage. She has strong hands and a soft touch. She was able to find the knots in my lower back. She found that my legs were very tense and did a some special squeezing and rubbing to get the muscles to relax. I felt refreshed and walked better the following day. The massage was superb and I will return. It is a funny pricing system if you use a cc. I pay cash. Next time I think I will do a 30/60 foot body. read more

I am a long time truck driver, my shoulders and neck ache. All the time I went to Northwest Bliss spa that was the best massage that I've had on my neck and shoulders. There's a masseuse their name, Jessie she was very caring. She understood what I wanted. she was very strong. We needed very medium we needed. She did a wonderful massage. I wish I could have experienced this place considering the positive reviews. Two times I booked an appointment and was never seen upon arrival. I was told that they took a walk which overlapped mine and the second was double booked. Funny because I called 30 minutes prior to my appointment and they confirmed just to be told to wait 45 minutes until they were done with someone else. My wife and I called to book an appointment here and they were very responsive and flexible. We initially booked 6pm but moved it up to 3pm and they accommodated us right away. Once we arrived we were immediately placed in our room. They were very friendly and the place was clean. We both got a full body massage for 60 mins and it was amazing! I had terrible shoulder and neck aches but they were able to unknot it for me! I didn't get the name of the person who did my massage but for my wife, Heidi did a good job with her! Very Clean Place: I have Rhumatoid arthritis and chronic migraines, I came in with joint pain and head ache. Cindy listened to what my problems were and started working on me right away with deep tissue massage, paying attention to my pain and being very careful not to make it worse. Cindy made sure through the entire time by asking if I was ok and was the pressure comfortable for me. She worked on my neck and head to calm down the head ache and when she was done my joints didn't feel inflamed and my head was so much better. I will return and I do recommend Northwest Bliss Spa.
