My last massage therapist was Saya, who worked some miracles on my impinged scapula pain. Today I had some lower back pain from work and booked kind of a last minute hour massage. Since I have had good experiences here in the past I tried a new therapist. Tony was my first male massage therapist! He did a great job and was kind, very professional, and attentive. I would definitely book him again. read more

I have been seeing Saya almost monthly for a past year, and I hope it never stops. I LOVE my massage days and look forward to them so much. I have chronic pain from Fibromyalgia and having frozen shoulder in both my shoulders, she is so attentive to the tension in my body, knows just where her craft is needed most, and leaves me feeling incredibly blissful for hours after seeing her. read more

Unfortunately this review is only of customer service from management. I booked myself a massage for my birthday but was unable to attend. I thought I had canceled properly but apparently didn't and was charged almost $250 for a service I never received. When I tried to talk to someone I was only given an email address for the owner. Who never responded. Even if you don't have compassion for the situation, dead silence? read more

Hi all, I lost 4-5 massages in my membership because I didn't realize I needed to use them within two months of cancelling a membership. The info was buried in an email message. I found out when I went in two weeks after the cutoff. Before I canceled, I wrote to the owner to say I was going to reinstate my membership after using my unused massages. I wrote to the owner to see if something could be done. Basically, no. Not even, "I am so sorry you didn't understand that was our policy. I can credit you one massage, or if you join again, you can use those." To follow up, I called my former massage place in West Seattle, and they told me I had a massage credit from a few years ago. They said if I became a member, I could use it. Wow, that's customer service. :) read more

My visit to Blissful Knead reenforced the fact that I need to do better at listening to my body. After working from home for months without a great setup and generally being a tense/anxious person, my dull back aches spread upwards to my shoulders and finally, I decided to get some help. Booking an appointment was super easy and the times were great to work with. I booked 60 mins with Chanel and OMG do I feel so much better now. I've only gotten massages per corporate work events so I still felt pretty new to the concept. Chanel was super sweet and made me feel at home. I asked for just upper body and felt a lot of tension go away during the massage but I really felt the effects the day after. Previously, I was really restless at night and constantly trying to alleviate my backaches but I slept like a BABY after my massage. She said she was surprised at how tense I was given how young I am which doesn't surprise me at all, knowing how I am lol. Highly recommend Blissful Knead and Chanel for massages. I'll definitely be back and won't ignore my body this time. Covid precautions were fully in place and I felt very safe. The owner is also really nice and walked me through some programs they have to save some $. read more

I went to Blissful Knead on a whim; made a reservation online the evening before. I have heard from friends that they do a good job, but never discussed particulars. There were many options online for time and therapist. I chose KC because she had an opening at 10am and I wanted to go early. My first impression walking into the spa was that it felt cluttered. There is a lot of merchandise in the reception area. The receptionist was very nice. I filled out a page long form about myself and then waited on a sofa for about 5 minutes for my therapist to come out. KC was courteous, but not friendly. There was basically not talk, she didn't even check in with me about pressure. After the massage, she left the room and that was it. She didn't check to see how I felt, offer me water, etc. I'm used to a little more hospitality when I get a massage. The massage itself was good. Good pressure and KC was good at draping. She definitely knows what she's doing. I would have liked more pressure in some places, but it was good overall. I will likely go back to Blissful Knead. I might try a different massage therapist. The other ones I saw while waiting for mine seemed a little more hospitable than the one I had. I think I would have a better experience with someone just slightly friendlier. read more

I just had my first massage at Blissful Knead. I was able to book the appointment easily for a next day appointment. My massage therapist, Briana, was fabulous. I would definitely want to go back to her. She paced herself well and used the perfect amount of pressure. The spa is really nice, clean, and smells great. Thank you! read more

I'm walking on sunshine.....whoaaaaoa. Wow, just wow! After months of working from and avoiding my back pain, I decided to splurge on a massage. I have to say I feel amazing as I write this. All the kinks and soreness have all but gone away. I highly recommend Beaux. She has a great calming energy and really wants to take care of her clients. Plus I love her sense of humor. I'm bummed out they don't accept insurance but they do let you use your health care savings card which really comes in handy. Neighborhood gem! read more

This massage place had replied back to my question on Yelp. The owner had answered my call around 10pm. I made a reservation for 3 massages for that weekend. The massages were really relaxing. Each massage therapists was accommodating. I prefer medium pressure, my mom likes medium to high and my aunt prefers light to medium. In addition, I had initially booked the appointment for my sister but she was unable to attend it. So they accommodated by letting me take her appointment the morning of the appointment. Each room is large and exactly how it looks like in the pictures on their account. The owners are opening another location in Seattle. I am excited to have another location of their's. I ended up getting a package from them to come back. They all are very passionate about their work and know the industry very well. read more

Okay, I see reviews for facials, facials, facials. I'm a non conformist and got the 90 minute massage for my birthday from Angela. It starts with a warm welcome by name as you get to your appointment, a complementary water or sparkling wine and a quick one page questionnaire so come early. I found the atmosphere relaxing and everything is clean and tidy with some calming background music. The massage therapist will ask you about what you like and what you don't like to tailor the massage to your needs; for me the harder the better. The massage starts with you laying on your stomach and getting a full back and leg massage that can range from relaxing to therapeutic deep tissue depending on what you prefer. I get the deep tissue massage where all those knots are found and massaged away; hurts in a good way. After about 1/2 the time you flip on your back and get the same treatment ending with your arms (if you ask) and then a neck and head massage (if time allows). With a 90 minute massage I'm half asleep toward the end and very relaxed. I end up hanging out a while afterward and drink water or have a glass of wine and chat it up with Monty (owner). Since my first massage, I've ended up getting a package of 5 massages with Angela and come back about once a month for the 90 minute massage so there's plenty of time to work on my lower back and legs which seem to need some work. read more

Blissful Knead - Day Spas Near Me - Burien, Washington

Lovely massage studio in a great location in Burien, just minutes from my house this may just be my new go to deep tissue massage spot. I met the friendly owner and learned they have 2 locations. I'd love to check out some of the other services they offer. They also have a monthly membership that you can pay less for your massages. I think 90 minutes is a great time frame if you have chronic pain issues. Nothing fancy or extra about this studio, it's very simplistic but yet calming and peaceful. The rooms are private and comfortable but again nothing but a mirror on the wall. They did have soft music playing which was nice! Some aromatherapy would have been great but I get it that some people have sensitivities. Great spa in a convenient location- give it a try! read more

Decided to treat myself and take some me time. The receptionist called me back and was able to fit me in SAME DAY!! I saw Jade, she was excellent - very polite and flexible as I wasn't exactly sure how much pressure I'd be comfortable with. At the end of my appointment I inquired about my "trouble" areas and she showed me exactly where they were and to my surprise they were not the areas I thought. I plan on going back read more

The massage was okay- Place is nice BUT when you book an appointment it does not show pricing. I figured it would be $150 to $180 for a 90 minute massage. NOPE $218 which is a rip off. No hot stones and no cupping Yes I know I should have looked at the webpage for pricing But never would have expected $218 especially in Burien Washington.. this ain't Bellevue read more

I have had several qualified technicians over the years , but Darren is the best so far. Professional and relaxing sessions. This is why I love yelp! I am in Seattle and had a great experience at Blissful Knead the other day. I looked up massage places near my friends house and send out a request for appointment - and voilà - it was done. I had vetted 7 massage places in one yelp request. Thanks Blissful Knead and thanks yelp! read more

Just had the most amazing 90 min massage from Nevin Hair! If you like deep tissue, have a pain you just can not shack this guy has the magic touch. He worked on all my major problem areas. I could feel the energy rush through my body every time something released. He was easy to talk with and listened. Everyone who works there was very friendly. I would recommend this place and Nevin to anyone. Go once or you can buy into their monthly plan (which I will be doing as soon as I can get out of my contact with a company that shall not be named). The nice part is there was no hard sell, just friendly staff and relief from pain. read more

The massage was glorious, but I couldn't breathe. They should re-think their table set up. Face down = suffocation.

The massage I had was great, but the sticker shock made me realize I can't go back. Why is it twice the price (at least) of most other places? It's a nice facility, the massage was excellent, but my experience didn't differ from any other good massage I've had locally. I could understand paying a bit more, but not a base of $169. These are spa prices without a spa experience. read more

Wow, Seth is amazing. This was my first massage here, and I booked with Seth -- a great decision. This was the most relaxing, yet productive massage. He was able to identify (what felt like) every spot of tension and work through it. Highly recommend Blissful Knead and Seth! read more

Oh my god. Joanna, thank you for giving me the BEST massage of my life! I used to get massages often at other places and I have specific spots that are frequent problem areas since I'm sitting down doing repetitive motion 15 hours of each weekday. Joanna was very intuitive & worked the knots in those areas and I didn't even need to be too specific at which spots they are. Perfect deep pressure because I like them to really get in there and work the knots. I paid for a 90-min massage which can be quite spendy, but I definitely will be coming back when I feel like treating myself. The space was clean and they sold lots of cute stuff at the little store by the cashier. Some people in the reviews said that the suggested tip sign was a little off-putting. But for me I thought it was convenient. read more

Blissful Knead is a wonderfully relaxing massage oasis and boutique, tucked away in Burien. Plentiful parking in front, leads you into this serenely decorated space, away from your daily grind. The owners and staff are all amazing. I've had nothing but great massages from the couple of highly skilled therapists I've seen here. Go check them out, and ask for Levi! He's got experience in several different techniques - swedish, deep tissue, reflexology, pin & stretch, and probably more. Levi will customize the right treatment to fit your specific needs. Treat yourself! It's absolutely worth it, and so are you. read more

Booking was easy and the location is fantastic for me since I live in West Seattle...plus they have parking - BONUS. I saw Ulises for my first massage and he is hands down the best massage therapist I have ever seen - truly talented. I signed up for their monthly plan which seems like a great deal. I plan to book my sessions with Ulises in advance before he gets too popular. Amazing. read more

I had Emily today for the first time. Did a 90 minute massage. I would hands down say this was the best massage I think I've ever had. This is my happy place. Quiet, clean and relaxing ambiance. Had all the Covid safety protocols right. Employees are all professional. I always feel rejuvenated after each massage. So worth my money and time. Would recommend this place in a heartbeat. read more

if I was reviewing the atmosphere it would be 5 starts across the board. But the Are expensive for what you are receiving. the first one was a def a one star, it was a waste of 2 hours. The massage I had to day was better and the primary purpose was to have work on my back. they charged 150 for an hour massage and they only touch 1/2 your body. There is. A lot more to lower part of my body then my calf's guess i will keep looking as I will not be back read more

Hidden gem to me. I'm glad that I found this place. It's clean and spacious. The staff here are amazing and nice. My masseuse Naon did some great work and was able to gets some knots out. Definitely recommend and will be coming back. read more

So glad I decided to check them out! I love getting massages and have been to many places over the years. Blissful Knead is hands down the most impeccable place I have ever been. The lobby is very clean and well organized with a variety of products . The receptionist was friendly and helpful as well. After you check in you go into a separate waiting area through glass doors so you can start to unwind before you even have your massage. The lobby, waiting room, bathrooms and massage rooms are all very modern and SUPER CLEAN. My masseuse Chanel was absolutely fantastic. Very friendly, professional and skilled. I haven't felt so great after a massage in a long time. I signed up for their monthly subscription for the discounted rate. Looking forward to them offering facials soon as well! Definitely a place I will recommend for everyone! read more

I almost don't want to tell you who my practitioner is because I'm afraid he'll become so popular that it will be heck to get an appointment but I feel that I have a civic duty. Gary is by far the best massage practitioner I have ever had and I've had a few turns around this earth and a lot of massages. He has a knack for finding every little tight spot and expertly releases it. If you can afford the 90 minutes, you will definitely get blissed out, also the 60 minute treatment is still amazing. He is truly that good. My husband is very very happy with Tessie and is always amazed how strong she is when need be considering she is well like me, vertically challenged. Monty always makes you feel so welcome. The atmosphere immediately puts you in a serene state and makes you forget about the hustle and bustle that awaits beyond the doors. So happy this is in Burien!! read more

I've had many many wonderful massages here. It's important for a massage therapist to really listen to their clients and I experienced this tonight with a new therapist named Darren, who I have not used before. He was fabulous! I will definitely return again. Also the owner Monty has some of the best cards, soaps, masks and special things for gifts for yourself or someone else. This is by far my favorite place to get a massage and pamper myself. read more

It was almost perfect. My only complaint is that the waiting room was WAY too cold and I felt uncomfortable and not at all relaxed, which was not a good lead in to my massage. But the massage itself was incredible. I felt like I got rebooted - like I was a completely fresh person. Wish I could afford to go all the time. read more

Had an absolutely amazing massage! Very convenient and easy to get to. Looks nicer on the inside than you would expect. This location has given the best massages I have ever received. I threw out my back while building a deck the week before me wedding. It was so terribly painful, I couldn't even walk right. I explained my injury to my massage therapist, Eric, and he and I did some pre massage exercises and stretches as he knew it was important I walked down my aisle rather than gobble down it. It worked! Immediately after my session, I could walk just fine and have continued to do the stretches and exercises he showed me which were convenient because I could do them from home. I had the first good night sleep I had had all week and my mobility increased by the tons. I was recommended by my mom and will absolutely be revisiting this location. I happened to run into the owner after my session and we chatted for a while about their business plans and their growth. Such a down to earth business and made me feel completely welcomed and relaxed. read more

Today had my second massage here and this place does not let you down. The massage therapists are professional and they know what they are doing. My first experience I left lighter and extremely relaxed. My second experience I definitely was relaxed but I felt educated about my body and what was happening. The therapist knew exactly where to work out when I briefly explained by aches and what I did during the week that I think caused it. My schedule is all over the place so I can't really book a solid appoint until the day of and this actually worked out both times. I called and they just so happened to have an opening with 1-2 hours of my calling. So no they don't take walk ins, but if you call it's likely you can be seen the day of. read more

Definitely worth it! This was a very clean spa with pofessional staff that were friendly. I thought my massage was very relaxing

OK I love blissful need! Everyone I've seen is amazing. I have never had about massage there. Today, I went in and saw SONOK and she changed my life. It was a therapeutic target at massage and exactly the areas I needed. She gets in there like no one ever has. This is possibly one of the best massages I have had in my entire life! She worked on every kink, sore spot and made me feel better than I have in a long time! She knew exactly what was going on with my body - shoulder specifically - and gave me practical things I can do to help long term! I cannot tell you how impressed I am with her. She is my new shoes effective, has great energy and fixed my pain spots. I will be going back on the regular to see her! You should check her out. read more
