And when I went up to the front, I had scanned the venmo code and put in a 15% tip, ready to pay as long as they didn't pressure me again like last time.... but then they did, so i immediately lowered it before sending it. And then she stopped me and asked me about the amount, I told her I paid and still tipped, and she wouldn't let me leave for 5 minutes until finally telling me I was fine to go. Good massage, but absolutely awful customer service. I would never recommend going here to anyone.

There are many therapists who do a nice or even very nice job (and some who are only mediocre or worse!). But every so often you meet someone who is so intuitive in their work, born out of a clear passion for their craft that they deliver the very highest levels of excellence from start to finish. This is Jack. He is PHENOMENAL. A true professional in the top echelon of his peers that is inspiring to see. He is so excellent that I imagine him as a type of Jedi Master! And as an aside, he always greets me with a big friendly smile and seems genuinely happy to see me (even with a language barrier). What a gift for me that he works close to where I live! Just a comment on the other reviews posted - particularly about the tipping. Bliss Spa is generally a good value for the money. I had the same experience as others in the summer of 2025 with similar inquiries about my tipping (which is totally NOT cool), but this hasn't happened for a few months, so I imagine they got the feedback and corrected this problem. Do I tip? Yes, and a good one! But with the immense respect I have for Jack and his work, I do something I otherwise never do: I go out of my way to make sure I have cash to give to him personally - as my way to honor him and thank him for his work. That said, today's massage itself was actually great. Unfortunately, the experience at checkout completely changed my view of the business. I paid via Zelle and showed confirmation that the payment was processing, including the notification and account details. I also offered to follow up shortly to confirm once it cleared, as I needed to leave to pick up my daughter. Instead, I was repeatedly told to stay and wait. I was then followed outside, and the staff member actually got into my car to prevent me from leaving. I had to physically ask her to get out of my car. Shortly after, the payment went through as expected. I understand wanting to confirm payment, but this situation was handled in a way that felt extremely inappropriate and uncomfortable -- especially toward a long-time customer who was clearly trying to pay. It's disappointing because the massage itself was good, but the overall experience left me shaken and unsure I would feel comfortable returning.
