Whoa. I called to make sure they weren't busy, and was told it'd be fine to come in right away. I did a 60 min foot massage. It was ... unexpected. But not bad. They start off soaking your feet, and give you a face/head/neck massage, then arms, and finally feet. Nick can absolutely read muscles well and leaned into every knot he found. The foot massage also included hot stone and hot towel. Then he had me lay on my stomach (which I fully wasn't expecting) and massaged my neck, shoulders, back, legs, and glutes. And man, oh man, did it hurt so good. I had insane knots and Nick didn't miss even one. The massage was $60, I tipped $15, they even gave me a water bottle at the end. Would absolutely go again. But as someone who likes to know what's going to happen before it happens, that was a lot of unexpected things for a "foot massage." Worth every penny, would do again. But unexpected for sure. It was also clean and the ambiance was fantastic. There are noises from neighboring stores, but that's not Serenity Massage's fault. Next time I'll bring my loops so I can tune out all the little noises. read more

Did not have a good experience. I asked if the foot massage was feet only, the masseuse said yes. Clarified, since most places are actually foot and body. He said yes, and still, the masseuse started doing a foot and body massage. I tried to reiterate during the massage, but he still didn't get the message. Also, the man who did my massage had clammy hands and smelled like smoke. It was probably the worst foot massage experience I've ever had. It was pretty uncomfortable. It looks like this place otherwise has really good reviews. So my experience may be a one off, but fyi. read more

I rarely leave reviews for places I visit, but this one truly deserves it. Place: Cozy and visibly clean. I'm very particular about bed sheets and towels, and this place did not disappoint. Everything was neat, and you could even smell the fresh laundry. The bed was consistently warm, which I didn't expect -- such a thoughtful and comforting touch. Service: I booked a 1-hour combo massage, and it honestly felt like 90 minutes in the best way. I was assigned to an older gentleman, which I didn't mind at all. I never felt rushed during the session, and his hand placement always felt professional and safe. I requested specific pressure points, and he delivered exactly what I asked for with consistent, seamless technique. Overall, a very relaxing and reassuring experience. I would definitely come back. read more

We are traveling through & had one of the best massages we've had in years. It we lived here, we'd come weekly. Had a couples massage and my husband was equally pleased. We left very relaxed and properly tenderized. Both of the women were very kind and did an outstanding job! Highly recommend. read more

First, the beautiful presentation of the massage room and the lovely vibe from the front desk manager were so calming and serene. I've never been so RELAXED after a massage, and I get a LOT of wonderful massages for my neck, lower back, and feet tension. I had Owen as my masseuse. Every single area that hurt on my body was MELTED away. He is truly a MASTER at his craft. I felted incredibly taken care of. Thank you so much!!! I can now continue my month-long tour nearly pain-free. read more

Excellent massages. My wife and I come here every few months when visiting family in the area. They do excellent deep tissue massages which is what I'm after - I'm very tight with lots of knots and issues with shoulders after prior sports medicine surgeries. They always find and iron out all the kinks! Good switch up of techniques, including use of heat, hot stones, walking, etc. Extremely friendly and fairly priced. Will continue coming here every time I'm in the area! read more

Nothing bad to say about this place . Quality is amazing , Spa pricing for their work is also great. The essential oil that is created and made by them is organic , and seeps into your skin directly to loosen muscle and cure & heal. read more

Came in on April 2023 to get a 60min foot massage. I saw an older Asian gentleman. He definitely got the skills to pay the bills. Left VERY relaxed and feeling FIXED after I left. I've visited a lot of different Asian massage establishments around the Renton area. I must say this place is among the top of my lists. Clean. Quiet. Polite customer service. 5/5 would recommended! read more

Serenity Foot Massage - Massage Near Me - Renton, Washington

I have had foot massage regularly, the standard rate these days in most places are $40~$45 an hour, even in Bellevue. Tried here for the 1st time and I didn't ask/check the price in advance. I figured this's Renton, how much can it be, my bad. This place was a ripoff. When it's time to pay, I saw the sign $60 for an hour Foot Massage. Plus $10 tip and they expected! Total $70. And the massage quality from "Lily" was below average in comparison to the countless massages I had in recent years. Next time I will go back to my regular lady for a great massage and I have always gladly tipped her $20 every time. Yes, it's a longer drive but worth it. read more

The BEST massage I've had in such a long time! My husband and I both went in for a table massage. We couldn't have been more happy. Lucy and Nic did such an amazing job. My husband is very tall and muscular and had deep knots. Lucy recommended stepping on his back- and he was such a big fan. He said it was able to alleviate his pain points. We unfortunately are just visiting Washington, otherwise we would be regulars here!!! Please go support them! You won't regret it! read more

My first time to visit this Massage place. The masseuse was excellent. I came in with tight back muscles that it started to hurt for a few days. Do be clear how many minutes you want to be massaged. I chose the 60mins massaged for $65. When it came time to pay, the lady at the counter was charging me 75 and she said it was for her boss. She couldn't articulate what she meant. Be prepared for possible language barrier when you visit this place. What happened was that the masseuse did the massage with more minutes but I wanted only 60mins . I think this was deliberate to make clients pay more and pretend to not understand English to play on the clients sympathy. At any rate, the massage itself was good but be prepared for possible false advertising on their prices. read more

I can't wait to come back here again after long drive. Everything was outstanding as usual. My massage was perfect. She took time and focused on my lower back when I told her it was hurting a little bit. My back felt much better after my massage. read more

I recently noticed this new business and thought I would give it a shot since they are closer to home than the place I usually go to. I was greeted right away and led to a treatment room. The woman who greeted me felt my shoulders and suggested that instead of half and half foot and body, I focus more on body. I agreed since my shoulders have been sore and tight lately. When it came time for the actual massage, another woman came in. I never got either of their names, but both were friendly. However, the massage therapist was very insistent that I could not keep underwear on for the massage. I have never had another massage therapist have an issue with that. I told her that they were staying on and she made it clear that it was a major inconvenience for her. She did do a great job at getting most of the tension out of my neck and shoulders. The actual massage was pretty good, I was just a bit weirded out by the demand for total nudity, especially since when she left the room to get a different oil and the hot stones, she left the door partially ajar. There was a thin sheet over me, but I still felt like it left me rather exposed. The hot stones were nice at first since she laid a towel between the stones and my skin, but at one point she removed the towel and placed the stones on the underwear I had refused to remove. I'm glad I had kept them on because one of them slid up my back a bit and burned because it was still so hot. I actually said "ouch" out loud and she asked if they were too hot. I said yes, but she didn't remove the ones already on me, she just used lighter touches with the ones she was holding. I didn't realize it until I got home, but the one stone that had slipped gave me a burn so bad that it blistered. Overall, she did a good job relieving the pain I had in my shoulders, but I can't see myself going back after getting the blistering burn. Also, as others have said, she was pretty weird about the tip. I understand that is what makes up a decent part of their wages, so I always tip well. The card reader clearly stated that I had given a $20 tip and she double-checked it to make sure it was enough. I feel like she wanted to ask for more. It made for an awkward end to my experience. 2 stars since the work on my shoulders was good, but the burn and weird attitude keeps me from going any higher. read more

The hot towels, sheets and the hot stones all contributed a comfortable environment. The massage was great and I felt that the massage therapists were skilled. The couples massage, I thought would be a good value. I was expecting more foot work since "foot massage" was in their name but maybe lower body is what they consider the foot? I did appreciate that my massage therapist checked in on me to ensure that the massage was not painful and to check to see if the pressure exerted was the right amount. The only issue that I had was that the there was a sign posted that the massage parlor was unable to accept card payments and could only take cash or Venmo. When it came time to pay, the staff asked if we wanted to pay with card or cash. What isn't stated is that by default the business charges a 20% tip and we were pressured to tip extra, "since the business owner" was the one who did one of our massages. Overall the experience was good, but due to pressure in the end, I can not wholeheartedly recommend the experience. read more

I just had my second baby and am starting to work out again so my body needed some TLC. I wanted deep tissue and I called with hardly any notice. They were able to fit me in that day with Nick. Reading the reviews here I was excited. Upon entry, I felt very rushed and hardly any conversation was said before they showed me my room and left. I've gotten massages done plenty of times so I assumed to strip down and get under the covers face down. When Nick entered, he didn't ask me what areas to focus on, he just got down to it. I was so exhausted I didn't really care until I realized for about the first 20 minutes, he had really focused on my glutes. After a while, he lifted my leg and opened them wider to get my inner thigh and that's when I had to stop him and say "no more butt please. Please move on" he didn't get it at first so I said it more firmly. It just felt so violating to START with my most vulnerable area without relaxing my back and shoulders first. The rest of the massage went well but it took me a while to get out of my weird mental state. I want to go back and be more diligent next time letting them know upfront the areas I want focused on, read more

Jenny is my go-to. She really takes the time and care to understand where my knots are and understand where to focus on my body. I've been to many different massage places and no matter what, I always find my way back to Jenny. Typical massage places have the most basic massage, but Jenny will target and take time to work on areas I need it most versus just going to the next thing (because it's routine). I appreciate the hard work she puts in. To top off my experience(s), this place is so sanitary, clean and everyone is respectful. read more

This was my first time here and I will not be coming Back ! I wish I would of read the reviews before coming here . My massage was really good but I was told "Wow you can't leave a bigger tip than that " I was leaving a 20 dollar tip and they wanted me to leave more . I think that is very rude to ask for more money . Emily counted the money and laughed and shook her head . The customer service needs to be better than this . Don't go there!!!! read more

I came to get a last minute massage and it was amazing! I walked in very tense and I could tell my body was stress. Before getting a massage Jenny evaluated my body and shoulders. The ambiance was peaceful and the location has easy parking. The rooms were clean and the massage bed was comfortable. Jenny relieved a lot of stress on my shoulders, back, and hips. I left refreshed and less tense. I would recommend this place to my family and friends! read more

Weird smell, they didn't change the towels, sheets and blankets. I saw they just re arrange the chairs made them straight. They are not well trained, my masseuse is a man he just an average. I don't feel good at all after the massage. read more

Second visit here after a foot massage that really helped my Planter Fasciatis pain. The level of attention to areas that you tell your masseuse is great. They will focus on the pressure points for your ailment and explain how certain points are affecting more of your body than you realize. Don't really write reviews but this place is too good it's hard not to. I've been going to Serenity Foot Massage for a couple months now and honestly say it's my favorite spot for a great massage. They offer deep tissue massage and includes hot stones/towel. Staff is very welcoming and the place is clean. Lily did an amazing job working all the knots out of my shoulders and back. Recommend this place to anyone looking for a satisfying massage for a reasonable price. read more

Clean and welcoming. Responsive to my request to book same day. Maybe I was mismatched with my massage therapist but it was not good. Elbows in the wrong places and menthol oil seeping to places it shouldn't be. Starbucks blender next door kept churning. I booked 90 minutes but 10 mins in changed to 60. I love hole in the wall Massages and find it really depends on finding the right person. I say give it a try if you're game. You might get lucky. read more

The massage I received was good. I asked for deep tissue and didn't feel like it was very deep. The main issue I had was when I was paying I went to leave a $20 tip and was told that wasn't enough. It is always not easy to find a A+ strong deep tissue massage therapist in the area. I expect a person who can literally drill down and dig out the pain area in my lower back. Nick did such a great job at saving my life from the pain. What I really appreciate is he often asks how you feel during the massage and adjust the strength and body part you want to focus. Will def want to come back. I heard they are working on the insurance stuff. It would be awesome if they can figure it out. read more

Great place, awesome staff. They were able to fix my back and minimize the pain. Finally got a good night sleep after the massage.

My lower back and shoulder had killed me for the past months after a long time sitting on a chair. So I needed an excellent decent time off my body while looking for a place to maintain a good protocol of covid. The place is new, freshly remodeled, and the interior looks clean and nice. Staff wear masks, hand sanitizer, and cleaning wipes were provided. I had Jenny as the technician who gave me a 60mins body massage. She is excellent and consistently checks with you. read more

I was so tired the other day. I had a shoulder pain as well. Lucy and her partner gave me the best four hand, complemented by a stepping massage. Love this massage place! Nick is my go-to guy for a deep tissue massage. I struggle with finding a solid massage place that will actually deliver in the firm massage...but Nick always delivers! I've recently moved away and sad I cannot go to my massages as often, but have recommended this place and the previous location he worked at in West Seattle to my friends and they too are happy with the services. Very reasonable pricing and the ambiance is very relaxing. read more

Without a doubt the worst experience I've ever had in all my time going to get a massage. The problem isn't with the massage (not to mention it wasn't that good), it was with the service of employee up front. When it was time to pay for my $65 massage, I had her charge my car card $80 ($65 +$15). Immediately the lady flips out, begins yelling how she needs a $30 dollar tip and is refusing to give back my card. Literally cursing and holding my card hostage. At this point, her colleague is pleading that she stop and just give me my card. She throws my card at me and smashes the card reader. To make matters worse, she charged me for two massages and I was told it would take several business days to receive my money. Save your money. The prices are good but they will literally traumatize you if you even think of not tipping 50%. read more
