All of the ladies here are wonderful - Daisy is particularly amazing! I usually get an insomnia massage with her and she does a fantastic job every time and uses just the right amount of pressure. I come out so relaxed I can barely talk. read more

I had an incredible massage with Heather! I added the extra scalp treatment and it was amazing! I felt so relaxed and would definitely recommend Heather!!! Thank you! read more

I book Daisy regularly, once to twice per month. I get the A1, shoulder-neck-foot. It's great-value for $45. I recently moved back into SEA and had previously tried 2 other west-side competitors. I like this place best and will frequent regularly, I felt fixed (they applied sufficient pressure to the lactic acid & muscles' knots). I recommend this massage location for other women, I was comfortable by the fact that I did not have to undressed. read more

Heather is excellent! Im a pretty stif guy and have a hard time relaxing my body, but she broke me and got me to loosen and relax my end of our session, very professional and good at her craft! read more

Great place, amazing service and very affordable prices. I had a bad neck pain and pinched nerve. After two visits I was back to normal.

This place is great! Affordable, quick availability, and everybody is talented and does great work. I don't know anywhere else that offers this great of a massage at this price point. Worth a visit! read more

Well Jun let's be clear, over the phone you quoted $35 introductory cost and that's what was paid along with a $10 tip and your miscommunication with your team is a lack of leadership on your part. I stand by my previous statement and for you to try and dip the script to save face your wrong Enjoy the good and bad with reviews because they are customers voice of informing you of what's missing or wronged So take this Lose and move forward, I hope your next customers get better service read more

It pains me to write this review but the reality is the quality of service at Sunshine Foot Relax has deteriorated significantly over the past 12-18 months.... My wife and I started going here in 2021 on an almost weekly basis with nothing but good experiences -- reasonably priced and high quality massages. Due to significant staff turnover (and the departure of their two best masseuses, Peter and Amy), the quality has deteriorated to the point where we refuse to go anymore, even though it's by far the most convenient location (2 blocks from our house). Sadly, we had a few too many terrible massages from chain-smoking men who speak no English. Perhaps there are capable staff, but we haven't seen them. I suggest you go somewhere else. read more

Very relaxing and love the deep tissue massage! I've come back several times. Sometimes as a walk in. read more

Wendy was my massage therapist and she was AMAZING! I know footspas can be hit or miss (and I've had some not so great experiences), but this was probably my best experience ever at a footspa. I'm so relaxed and in a way better mood than I was when I walked in to the spa. I paid for a combo 60min massage with a 30 min scalp massage added on and I loved the minty oil she used. Wendy didn't use excessive elbows, nor did she tap really hard. Also sometimes footspas can be loud since you're in a big room, but everyone was quiet, professional, and there were no interruptions. All up it was about $80 and I tipped $20 in cash. If I had more cash on me I would've tipped $30. I'll be back again for sure and will make sure to ask for Wendy again read more

COVID-19: Masks are required. They check your temperature and have you sign a waiver. Parking: Street parking. I have visited twice and did a table massage in a private room each time. 1 hour is $55. I had a male masseuse both times and pressure was good. Hot stones are also used for a small part of the massage. Room was clean. They have a stamp card. Receive 1 stamp for each visit when you spend more than $25. After 10 stamps, it can be exchanged for $20 store credit. read more

Sunshine Foot Relax - Services and pricing on 9.20.20 - Massage Therapy Near Me - Seattle, Washington

My partner has gone here 3-4 times and I've gone twice so far, and we've really enjoyed it each time. It was a little startling the first time we visited because we didn't realize that everyone is in one big room together unless you book a private room. And they speak very little english so also be prepared for that. But the staff have all been very warm and friendly to us. The inside is very clean and quiet, and the staff do a great job on the massages! This last time my partner and I each booked a table massage, which meant that we got a shared private room split by a curtain. That was perfect for us and very relaxing for an awesome price. I read the negative reviews about tipping and I don't really know what to say about that except it hasn't been our experience! I can't remember what we tipped the first time when we got the introductory package (which is where the problems seem to stem from?), but we usually tip between 20-40% since the service itself is so cheap and they work so hard. read more

I went for a one hour massage a few days ago and had Ada, the massage was so relaxing. I have a bad low back and numbing in my feet so a good relaxing massage really helps me get around. I will definitely be back to see her again read more

Great service and never busy. Get the $40 one-hour foot massage instead of the $35 one-hour foot massage. The $40 version includes the whole body like most other foot massages nationwide. But unlike other foot massages, they'll let guys take off their shirts when massaging their back. For girls, they'll just go under the shirt. Just note that this is all done in an open room like most other foot massages nationwide. So don't be shy about your body. read more

-- updating my review -- I became a regular after I posted my first review, and loved this place until about a month ago. I asked for the same guy for over a dozen times. I'm not sure if he had a bad day or what? All of the sudden, one day, he started to touch me in places, like my side boob which was not appropriate. It's normal for him to roll up my shirt when he gives me a back massage. On the day he was "inappropriately intimate," he actually touched my boobs while he pretended to roll my shirt down. I gave him dirty looks the he said "I'm sorry" like 5 times to me in broken English, so it was intentional and he was aware. I felt really gross leaving the place and I haven't been back there since. It's too bad because this place was great. It's clean and give great massages. But it was definitely inappropriate. read more

This place is totally unprofessional when you get to the door the sign says $30 intro massage but we were quoted 35 when we called because it was our first time they did show us the menu once at 35 once at 40 we did pay the $40 and they were arguing with us over the tip to where they stood in front of the door and did not want to let us leave I suggest not to open your wallet if you have cash here if they see you have cash they want more money we paid with cash because we didn't want them to have to charge us the 3.5 surcharge it was a man and lady that did our massage and the man literally pushed the lady in front of us which was so rude and unprofessional I would definitely stay away from this place read more

To be honest, it was the oddest massage ever. Not looking for excessive oil, and the guy breathing in my ear while he combs through my hair! Keep it professional. This was an odd place. read more

The massage itself was a 3, but the experience was a 1. They force you into paying more and tipping an amount which they set. If you don't tip or don't tip an amount they have pre-set in their mind (which they don't tell you in advance), they sometimes will physically block you from leaving. I've also seen one of the male employees yell at one of the female employee pretty loud/aggressively just openly (not even trying to be private) while other people are getting massages. It isn't exactly relaxing... Also, there is a stale/mildew smell in the air, which sometimes is also mixed with cigarette smell when the one guy comes in from smoking outside. It's a pretty shady, dishonest place, but if I have a major knot or cramp in my foot and need a quick cheap remedy, I might go.... otherwise, never again. read more

BE AWARE that they may yell at you in Chinese if you give less than 30% tip even if you've received the unfair service. I've been a loyal customer at this place and ALWAYS left generous tips (~35% tip), and the masseuse, Amy, recognizes me every time I walk into the shop. I always track my time to make sure I'm getting the full 1-hour massage. Today, I received about a 52min massage. I didn't say anything about this (since they can't really speak English). Because of this, I didn't give my normal 35% tip but gave about 15% tip this time. The lady was super angry with me and started saying things back at me in Chinese. I pulled out my cash and gave 15% more tips to calm the situation. She seemed satisfied once the cash was in her hand. I'm traumatized by this experience and will not go back. Raise the price on the menu if a 15% tip is not acceptable!! Tip is tip; you get based on your service. Do not be rude to your customers even if you received no tip. Rather, be kind and maybe ask WHY. read more

I really enjoyed my massage! My masseuse did an excellent job and helped my back feel better. I always like to support small massage businesses and they did not disappoint. They were also able to accommodate me on late notice. Highly recommend!! read more

I REALLY wanted to like this place but I was solely disappointed. When I arrived there was a couple checking out. Two employees were standing behind the desk. One of the staff was pointing to the bill and saying something in a foreign language. They did not speak English and I could tell that the customers were trying to understand. Not one of the four involved appeared to be very happy. The customers then left and I went in for my massage. I requested one of the "introductory packages" listed in their tri-fold flyer. This special was not on the laminated menu on the top of the counter. The staff called someone who spoke English and I communicated to the person on the phone that this is what I wanted. The person on the phone then communicated this information to the masseuse. The massage was good. I went to pay and I gave a 20% tip. It was easy to see that the masseuse who was checking me out did NOT like the amount of the tip. He wrote on a piece of paper the amount he wanted for a tip. He kept pointing to the full price of the massage I received and then to the number he had written on the piece of paper. He was clearly not happy and kept pounding the counter top with his finder. I guess he expected to be tipped based on the full price of the massage. Based on a quick calculation, the amount of my tip represented a 17% tip for the full-price massage. I have always believed that a 15% - 20% tip was fair. I was confused, frustrated, and embarrassed to even be having this interaction. I then realized that this is what occurred with the previous couple who were checking out as I was arriving. I really wanted to begin frequenting this establishment regularly. I can't believe this happened and that the employees are so short-sighted. I can't help but wonder if the owner knows that this is occurring. read more

I'm a regular customer this time not good he leaned on me to lazy to stand and cleared his throat in my ear loudly used his knuckles on my spine complained he speaks no English then he is forcing me to tip him called manager for refund he came out and Thertened me read more

Unfortunately, the masseuse I saw today is a very heavy smoker. His hands, clothing and breath smelled so badly I finally covered my face with a towel - ruined my head and shoulder massage. My skin smelled of tobacco afterwards. He upsold me but I didn't know it because he spoke no English. I love small businesses but I'm $75 poorer after a terrible experience. read more

One of the most thorough chinese massages I have ever had. The gentleman working here knew what he was doing and my crunchy shoulder and neck muscles feel so much better now. If you are looking for serious neck/shoulder relief and a really intricate foot massage this is your spot. I did the $40 option which I think there was more pinpointed focus on the areas I mentioned vs the $30 option. Plenty of street parking nearby. read more

There is no going back to the ID after coming here. Clean, quiet, new, affordable and they take pride in what they do. Quality work! And I do mean work, as this not a Swedish or light touch massage (know before you go if that's not what you want) but a deep kneading dig into the knots and muscle and that is exactly what I needed. I'll be back! read more

WOW, this place is a gem. I got a massage for the first time in a year and I feel like I'm on drugs. The style of massage here is more effective than any American massage I've had. The folks here are kind and talented and the place is clean (good covid etiquette). Not to mention the excellent price point. Thank you so much! read more

I experienced combo for an hour in this massage, First of all, the biggest disadvantage is that communication is very difficult. The masseurs and managers of this store lack English communication skills. They have no way to understand my questions and requests, especially when I express that I need to reduce the pain on my neck and shoulders. When I was struggling, she didn't understand. I repeated it several times before she relieved the pressure, which caused some pain in my neck and shoulders. When I expressed my request, she seemed to ask the staff next to me and Manager, but she didn't seem to understand my request. Secondly, I think the massage technician lacks professional training and techniques, because it is difficult for me to feel professional traditional massage points and massage techniques when massaging my body. Her massage technique is too simple, she seems to only know how to press hard on my body parts, through her elbows and forearms, I think this is unprofessional, this is not the massage I want. The good thing is that the price is really cheap, but to be honest, I don't think the service here can be called a satisfying massage even though the price is so cheap, so I was disappointed even though I still tipped her 20% , but that's just out of my respect for her not satisfaction with the service. I can't recommend anyone else to this massage. read more

Great Chinese massage! Very clean, kind and everyone wore masks. I'll definitely be a regular here!

Amazing massage. Been 3 times and it's always such a treat! Very consistent and convenient and the pressure is always perfect.

FINALLY!!! West Seattle has needed a Chinese foot massage comensurate to the ones in the ID and elsewhere and so, HURRAY! I can report that my first visit was GREAT. It's super clean, the beds are new, the two men working were friendly and welcoming. English was not the first language but I was asked if I wanted soft or hard pressure. I wanted deep pressure and I got it. He checked in several times during the massage to make sure I was ok, which was nice. If you know what to expect from this kind of massage, feet in a tub, paper towel on face, deep elbows and commitment to working out the knots then you will not be disappointed. I'm thrilled. I'll be a repeat customer for sure. read more

So happy I don't have to go to the International District to get a great foot massage anymore! This place is sparkling clean and comfortable. The gentleman that gave me my very reasonably priced introductory massage was very skilled. Highly recommended! read more

I didn't want to review until I'd been there twice. I took some staff there tonight and it was unanimous that we won't be going to the ID any longer! Very calm - no loud outside noise, great massages. A super good value. We did the $30 special and tipped $20 and it was a steal. Parking right outside and 10 minutes from my house! Woohoo. Go! They are loverly! read more

This place is better than any place in the ID. Just slightly more expensive - but really very slightly - and well worth it because it's clean and well kept. Li is amazing - he does an amazing job. I am so greatful to have a foot massage here in West Seattle. It is clean, friendly and a great (extra strong) massage . I have been driving to international district weekly for years and now I can conveniently drive a few blocks. My feet and back are incredibly Happy. read more

I just recently discovered the value of these Foot Massage places. They do so much more than massage your feet and they are 1/3 the price of a LMP. If you want a good deep tissue massage, do the 30 minute foot and 30 minute table massage. This is not a relaxation massage so don't expect it to feel good the whole time. That being said, it should provide relief after the fact. I was waking up every day sore and in pain and after getting a massage last night, woke up this morning feeling normal for the first time in a long time. I have been to other foot massage places but this was one of the best so far. My husband thought his was just ok. Mine was amazing. Will definitely go back. read more
