Definitely not what I want from my massage therapist. Granted, everyone does that, but still, if you're giving a massage that day that is the last thing I want. She said it was allergies, and it did seem to go away during the massage, but still. I told her in advance that I am very sensitive and needed a light touch. And when it hurt, I let her know. But after awhile when EVERYTHING hurt, I just gave up and resigned myself to receiving a bad massage. Toward the end of my 75 minute massage it got a little better but I left hurting worse than when I came in. And I hurt for days. My boyfriend had told me that once I felt better, I would feel worlds better, but that wasn't the case. I hurt for several days and once I finally started feeling better, I was no better off, maybe even a little worse. I'm giving her three stars because, like I said, she was nice. My boyfriend enjoyed his massage, so it could just be that mine wasn't great because I like a lighter touch and she definitely did not have that. She gets a star for being close to my house, seeing both us of the same day right after each other, and for participating in the massage special.

I've tried it all, night splints, orthotics, new boring, ugly shoes none of it helped very much. I have gotten the most relief from the good body work from Jyoti. While she works on my feet and legs, she checks in with me as she works so it is not too much. It is a bit uncomfortable at times, but when she is done working the muscles it feels great. She will show you how to work those spots yourself, for instance after a bike ride to lie on top of a basketball for a good chest, shoulder and neck stretch. I had forgotten how comfy it is to have feet that feel well!

I saw her after a car accident where i was t-boned on the driver's side by a car going aprox. 50 mph. I have seen her about 4 times and each time i go i feel better and better. She was able to get into parts of my shoulder that no other massage therapist had been able to do. I am feeling better and better. I have a ways to go but i am quite encouraged. She also noticed that my chin was going slightly to the left. I had noticed that my chin started doing this about a year or so ago and i don't know why. I was looking at pictures and when i smiled it totally went to the side. She was got into my jaw and massaged around and taught me how to do it at home, and now when i smile my chin is straight. My mom had noticed that it had started doing that as well but we had no idea it was because my jaw muscles were pulling it to the side. She is respectful, professional and very skilled at her work. I'm a combat sports athlete & coach (kickboxing, boxing, judo, etc.). I'm always on the balls of my feet, constantly using explosive vertical and lateral movements. My feet are strong, but often sore, tight and sometimes even painful due to the nature of my sports. I've also had a pretty painful foot injury (soft tissue damage) in 2017, and it's never felt 100% until I began receiving treatment from her. I've tried other reflexology and massage services. They were very superficial and don't target the intrinsic foot muscles and deep tissue structures to create real change.
