First time visiting Bisho Bodywork but it won't be my last. Mindee was wonderful. Was feeling tension in my neck and shoulders and Mindee was able to massage it all away. Relaxing atmosphere. Spotless massage room. All the special touches to make the experience fantastic. read more

Very professional and did great work! Appreciated the follow up in communication. Purchased a package and can't wait to return

I had an amazing massage this weekend. Online booking was a breeze! I could pay ahead of time through PayPal. The email confirmation was very detailed and had easy directions that led me right to the studio. Much appreciated! The massage therapist I saw was, Nancey. Highly recommend!! The massage was lovely! Very therapeutic. She also offered up hot stone and cupping, which I never had before. No extra charge. read more

Full disclosure: I had never received a massage before, and used to work with Katrina at a restaurant downtown before she got her LMP certification. Katrina was completely and totally professional from the minute I walked in the door. We discussed the problem I was having (tightness and pulled muscles in legs / calves) and she made sure to focus on those areas during my massage. In fact, she worked on my calves for so long to break up and loosen the muscle tissue that she asked if we could go ten minutes over for her to finish on the rest of my body! I really appreciated her thoughtfulness and thoroughness during the massage, and her proactivity after the appointment, sending me videos on stretches and advice on how to make sure the issue would not recur. I'm not sure she does this for all clients, but because she knows I'm a "jazz guy," she had this solo piano / trio mix of ballads that was right on point and put me in a meditative zone where I was the most relaxed and stress-free I've been in recent memory. I have no hesitation whatsoever in referring anyone to Katrina / Bodhi Bodywork. I'm looking forward to scheduling another appointment. read more

When I was traveling through Seattle recently, I had the pleasure of getting a massage with Katrina. She is very professional, really good knowledge of the the body structures and gave my sore body a lot of relief. I will get another one next time I am in town! Do yourself a favor and treat yourself to a massage with Katrina... read more

This review is long overdue - I've been seeing Katrina for some time now and she is AMAZING. I've gotten many massages in the past but visiting Katrina for the first time was a game changer. Her incredible ability to understand your body is apparent and very unique. I have ongoing shoulder tightness from work and stress and her full body massages completely keep the pain at bay. This isn't just a light brushing massage, she'll actually work on untangling those knots and and bringing immediate relief. The atmosphere is super relaxing and soothing, the bed is nice and toasty and I've actually been so relaxed during the hour that I've drifted off in a state of half-asleep bliss. Can't recommend her enough! read more

I've had back pain for many years now, and due to a recent car accident it also transferred into my neck and started becoming unbearable at times. I have been in desperate search of a massage therapist to give me some kind of relief, I spent a lot of money and tried many different places. It seemed that having constant pain throughout the day, it was affecting my work and my mood. Which is why I am so happy and thankful that I finally came across a Bodhi Bodywork business card! I was beginning to lose hope then decided to give it one more try, I made an appointment with Katrina and ever since that day (I've had 6 massages now) I already feel a huge improvement on my focus and an uplift in my mood :) There are so many great things to say about Katrina, she is very nice and truly cares about improving the health and wellness of her clients. Katrina is very professional and has a calm and welcoming energy. We talked about the various pains in my neck and back and she is very good at understanding the source of where the pain is coming from and what to work on to alleviate it. Just by feeling the areas I described were causing me pain she understood the physiology of the muscles and knows the techniques to help move and break up tension. Each time I go in for a massage I walk out with a smile, feeling very relaxed and relieved! I look forward to my next visit as always! The locations are both great, easily accessible. The rooms are warm and cozy with relaxing music and a soothing aroma. Prices are very reasonable, and well worth it! They take insurance too. Finding Katrina was one of the best things that happened to me and I genuinely feel healthier and happier each visit with her! Treat your body to a bodhi experience, you won't regret it! read more

Laura is great. She is just what you want in a masseuse. She has a good grasp of anatomy and the somatic empathy that lets her give your body what it needs. I have been looking around for a good masseuse for some back pain. I'm new in town and tweaked my back during the move. I wasn't looking for a relaxing experience (though it was relaxing), I was looking for help healing and that's what I got. Ask for Laura. read more

I'm registering myself in Yelp and writing my first review because of the amazing service I received from Nancey at Bodhi Bodywork in Fremont. As a working full-time busy mom with a toddler, coming to Bodhi for a relaxing massage every week is my oasis. Nancey has this amazing touch with the perfect amount of pressure to relieve the pent-up tension in your body. You get to know your body more with each stroke. I feel like a different person after each session. I've received lots of massages in a lot of countries, but Nancey is truly the best. Getting up from her massage bed is the hardest thing. read more

Service itself is five stars. I would you four stars for the effectiveness of the massage. I came in hoping to get rid of some aches and pains. The relief was short, but it's probably bc I need to either come in more often or go see a chiropractor. First time ever and Angelica was awesome. Very relaxing and relieving. My favorite part was probably the neck. I wish I was able to try the hot stones! read more

I just finished my first massage therapy appointment with Margaret for shoulder and neck pain. Wow is she great! She took time at the beginning of the appointment to identify areas of my body that would be related to the pains I mentioned and boy did those spots hurt during the massage more than I realized. We started a few minutes late because of the paperwork and our initial discussion. She went 20 minutes over our appointment time (respectfully asking if it was okay) because we "started late". (I think we started perfectly on time but she started the massage a bit late because of the initial discussion.) She was very precise in her methods and I walked away feeling way better. I'll definitely be back and I highly recommend Margaret when you visit Bodhi Bodyworks. read more

I had a great experience with Angelica. She used the perfect amount of pressure and I really appreciated her work on legs/feet. Very professional too. I hope go back. read more

Fantastic massage, great conversation. I will definitely be coming back!

Anjelica was excellent and provided a very relaxing massage! It did take some time to schedule as the appointments were limited/booked fairly far out, but after my first massage she gave me her card and was very open to being texted, etc so it may be easier to schedule for returning clients. read more

If I could afford a 90 minute massage every week, I wouldn't hesitate to maintain that schedule all year round. When I think of my best massage experiences, I recall professionalism, comfort with the environment (sounds - not a lot of 'em!, scents, temperature), and attentiveness from the masseuse. Nancey nailed every important detail. She asked the appropriate questions, listened and responded to the reasons I came to her for a massage, didn't chit-chat, and went a step further than most by following up with a personal thank you email the next day. She's skilled, genuine, and very professional. I will definitely return! read more

I never know my schedule ahead of time, so usually just book an appointment last minute with anyone available at the time. But I never have to worry about who I get because every single massage therapist I've seen here is beyond wonderful! Each therapist has their own style--it actually works better that way so that my body can get a feel for different techniques. Both the Saturn and Atrium spaces are super clean and smell just lovely. Can't wait for my next appointment! read more

Angelica definitely knows what she's doing, great deep-tissue massage. I brought specific concerns to her attention and she used her experience to creatively address it. I'm definitely feeling better off thanks to her service. read more

Mindee is absolutely fantastic! She not only has a welcoming and warm energy but she also has an intuitive rhythm with varying degrees of pressure. I seriously felt like a million bucks after I saw Mindee. read more

I went for my first ever massage yesterday with Margaret. I walked in with pain in my neck and back and 90 minutes later I walked out pain free and feeling fantastic. Margaret was able to make me feel comfortable and answer any questions I had seeing as this was my first experience. I highly recommend to everyone! read more

Angelica at Bodhi is awesome! I've had several massages and I highly recommend her.

I had a massage last night with Katrina. It was amazing! She was able to alleviate pressure spots in my back without me feeling like I was in pain (for those of you who have knots in your back, you know what I mean)! Her space was inviting and I was very very comfortable. I will most definitely be back! :) read more

I went to Mindy for a massage a few days ago. It was a little tricky to find the office, but totally worth it once I got there. Very relaxing atmosphere. Mindy was very sweet and asked me what I wanted out of my massage, then did a great job working out my knots and relieving my pent up stress (I work too much). I was concerned it would all immediately come back (I still work too much), but so far, so good. I would definitely recommend and I will be going back. read more

Every therapist I've seen has been amazing in their own unique way. Each one listens to your concerns, and you come up with a plan together that's not at all committal or pushy. I've been to other massage therapists, and while they were also good, this one is great. read more

Mindee is delightful, passionate, calm, well educated and has a wonderful touch. Ask about help with detoxification and other specialties available to you. If Mindee's not available, then you can trust her two other massage therapists are capable & as solid as she is...she wouldn't bring them on if they weren't. With Fremont, you'll need to figure out parking and then locate the space within a building of multiple businesses. It's not difficult, just give yourself extra time your first visit. ENJOY!! read more

Laura is kind, perceptive and helpful. My body was tight and painful. I will return for another massage . Thank you. read more

Angelica is phenomenal. She is talented in deep tissue that is productive but also relaxing. I didn't feel like it had to be "no pain no gain." Instead, her deep tissue is equally tender as deep. I walked away feeling refreshed and more elastic! The space is relaxing and charming, too! read more

I have had massages from three massage therapists at Bodhi and they were all truly amazing. Everyone is professional, friendly, checks in often, makes it a relaxing and comfortable experience. The studio is easy to access in Fremont. Clean and organized space. I go back every month for more! read more

Mindee's approach to massage is in every sense of the word, therapeutic. At my first session, we sat and discussed the specific issues that I was having before beginning. It took no more than five minutes for me to realize that Mindee really understood what I was trying to convey and had a specific plan in mind to alleviate the pain I was feeling. Needless to say, I left feeling much better than when I arrived, and can definitely say that I have found the spot for all my future massage therapy. read more

Angelica does a great job! Super flexible and easy to talk to! She is very strong and knowledgeable. It's always nice to see someone who loves what they do. Did I mention she takes my insurance!? read more

I took advantage of the new client special and was not disappointed. I had a wonderful massage from Nancey. She addressed my specific concerns with intelligent, thoughtful body work. She is the real deal. No fake, fluffy "spa massages" here. The work is therapeutic, healing and highly recommended! read more

I have muscle pains and like deep tissue massage. I have a problem relaxing. The therapist I've been seeing for months is wonderful. While she works on my muscles I go into a meditation state. I get both physical and psychological therapy from somebody who cares. read more

I found Bodhi Bodywork on Yelp (of course) and couldn't agree more with the 5 star reviews! I have visited Nancey and Katrina and they were both amazing. Katrina was especially great at working the knots out of my back and gave me stretching recommendations at the end of my visit. They make it really easy to book online and the offices are very close to each other in Fremont. I will be back! read more

I love this place, and most of their therapists are really good. My only sort of complaint is that they seem to have high turnover with their therapists, so it leaves me wondering if there's a problem with the business I'm not privy to as a client. read more

I had a massage with Venessa yesterday, and I feel SO much better. It is very clear to me that people are not hired by this bodywork group unless they are extremely knowledgeable, and naturally talented. I was having some major back pain, and Venessa really worked into the tightnesses and imbalances that she found, and gave me sound advice about how to prevent future pain. Not only does my back feel a lot better, but I feel a lot better because Venessa was able to explain to me precisely what she was doing and finding in my back, she had a real in depth knowledge of the body that allowed me to better understand my pain, and understand how to move and stretch to help myself in the future. Venessa was very well educated and had a really soft and calm way of speaking. From the looks of this yelp page it seems like one or two of the other therapists have a long term following, but I would advise that you can't really go wrong here. read more

I had a 90 minute myo fascial & deep tissue blend of massage from Mindee and it was heaven! I love the way she got to the point working out my issues without making me feel like I was being tortured. Firm, precise, but not aggressive. Warm heart, big smile, fantastic touch, comfy space. All around great experience. read more

I have been seeing Katrina for about the last 5 months on a regular basis. I underwent low back surgery and she has helped me tremendously with my recovery. She is knowledgeable, professional, and is able to identify and treat my problem areas every visit! I would highly recommend her! read more

I went to see Katrina Koleto in the Phinney Ridge location, but it is my understanding that she works at both locations. I highly recommend Katrina for a massage therapist. I usually went to the same place closer to my home, but word of mouth introduced me to Katrina and I shall see no one else. She is professional. She makes me feel comfortable when I walk in the door. She is warm and well-spoken. She asks the right questions to make sure I get the massage I not only want but need. I've seen her twice (so far) and I am very satisfied by her massage technique. She has helped me overcome a pain in my arm, and no other massage therapist was able to help me with, but Katrina did because she took the time to ask me the questions and spent time focusing on the specific area. She also told me why I probably was having a non-stop headache, and she massaged my head and neck and helped to relieve it. There is something to be said when pain is released, you feel grateful and sober from the awe of finally feeling no pain, and I am incredibly impressed and devoted to not only going to see Katrina at Bodhi Bodyworks, but I am also recommending her to others. read more

The Bodhi Bodywork team is rocking' it. They are the most friendly people, their offices are so soothing and wonderful, and they do great work. I couldn't recommend them enough! read more

I'm not sure I can say enough great things about Mindee. I visited her many times over a period of a year for her to work on my sore neck and evertime left feeling much better. She's always accommodating, fun to talk to and extremely intuitive. After becoming more popular she started getting harder to book. I'm excited to see that she's been able to expand her business lately. read more

I see Katrina on a weekly basis for issues with my shoulders, neck, and low back. I'm a bank teller and have to stand all day long, and also a student so I'm on the computer quite a bit. She's super knowledgeable since she's had experience working in a PT office, so I really trust what she is doing. I'll tell her where I have the pain and she is easily able to identify which muscle is causing it. I have had issues with numbness in my hands and feet and she was able to help me out and the numbness is gone! She also sends me home with stretches I can do at home to help me between massages. I have tried several other massage therapists before finding Katrina and I can confidently say she is the best. read more
