Just had a great therapeutic massage to tackle my stiff neck pain and tightness that's limited it's range of motion turning to the right. Great thing about this place is they actually do customize and tailor the massage to target your trouble spots instead of having a set routine and not deviating from it. I had some wicked knots on both sides of my traps which my masseuse Coung kneaded and alleviated the majority of the pain in my neck. I've been coming here since 2019 and I cannot believe I've neglected leaving a review for so long! The space is lovely and soothing, but more than anything Sydney is a top notch massage therapist! I've had a lot of massages over the years (I even was a massage therapist for 4 years), and Sydney blows them all out of the water. She has a calming presence and her massages are somehow incredibly effective at working out the knots and relaxing at the same time. Between working a desk job and weight lifting 5 days/week my body can sometimes be in rough shape, but Sydney always knows how to set me right again. 10/10 from me! read more

She not only made my neck better, but keeps my back in good shape because of her extensive knowledge of stretch therapy. The environment is not only quiet and relaxing, but all the staff are very professional and friendly! So many great things to say about this place! First, I have been seeing Cherry for the past 9 months, usually 2-4 times per month (I really enjoy massage!). She is so good at what she does! The first time I saw her I explained my expectations (pressure, areas of focus, etc.) and she has always been consistent. I have no idea how she remembers all the details, but she does. I have always suffered from headaches and migraines; with regular visits to Cherry, I rarely experience them anymore. As a bonus, she's incredibly kind and friendly, but doesn't talk during massage which let's me RELAX! Second, the new location is clean and welcoming. The rooms are quiet and beds are comfortable. I've been a client of the proprietor of Customized Massage for several years now, and in my experience they are the best in Seattle (my wife loves massage, so we've tried many all over the Seattle area and abroad). They've just recently opened premises and are less expensive than any other message therapists we've visited, beating even the subscription prices of corporate massage like Massage Envy. The therapist is very strong and experienced and obviously has a passion for this work. She is capable deep tissue beyond my pain threshold if required. I was extremely impressed when I brought some instructions from my chiropractor, which to me looked like gibberish medical language, and she knew exactly which areas he was referring to. It's a small, clean establishment and I like the decor. The knots in my shoulders, while permanent residents, grew over the last two years and it was time they were taken care of. I carry a lot of tension in my shoulders and neck, with that being said I get a lot of tension headaches and decided that I'd go in for a massage to get all the knots and tension rubbed out. I have been to enough massages to know who is gimmick, charges a lot for the 'ambience', etc. but I was still skeptical. After the session, all I can say is "WOW!!" I asked for firm and she really went at it!! Cherry is the best masseuse I have so far. She really listened to what I need and areas for my focus. Trinae is amazing and a very talented and passionate therapist. I went in with low back pain caused by a very weak core and came out feeling like a brand new woman!!
