First time at this place and my husband and my massage was one of the best one we have ever had. Mary has the perfect touch, not to hard or to soft. Will be back to see her! Thank you Mary read more

I hadn't been here in a couple of years, and now I remember why. When I booked my appointment, I specifically requested a deep tissue massage when I called, confirmed it again when I checked in, and reiterated it when my therapist came into the room. Unfortunately, what I received was nowhere close to deep tissue--it wasn't even firm pressure. To make matters worse, my 90-minute appointment was cut short. During the session, the therapist repeatedly found reasons to step away. In total, he was out of the room or away from providing treatment for approximately 11 minutes. After the first 60 minutes, I was asked to get up and move to a different room for the final 30-minute foot massage. While I was waiting, the therapist spent time cleaning hot stones and remaking the massage table. Those tasks should be completed between clients--not during a client's paid treatment time. Service should be continuous throughout the scheduled appointment, and 11 minutes of non-treatment time is simply unacceptable. The foot massage itself was especially disappointing and felt like an afterthought. I tried communicating my preferences and even offered feedback on the pressure and technique during the session. As a licensed massage therapist myself, I understand the physical demands of this profession and appreciate the effort that quality bodywork requires. Unfortunately, this session lacked both the pressure and the intentional therapeutic work I specifically requested. Despite my attempts to communicate, my requests were ignored. It feels like they simply tell clients what they want to hear to get them in the door instead of delivering the service they promise. The massage was a complete waste of my time and money. Even though the price was inexpensive, it still wasn't worth it. To top it all off, my credit card was charged three times, and now I have to drive back just to get the billing corrected. This place used to be much better, but it has become incredibly disappointing. I would not recommend it. read more

I really wanted to give this place a try because the reviews are so personal. The massage itself was not bad, but the most jarring issue is there is a smell in there that made the whole experience super uncomfortable. They need to invest in some plug-ins or a scent diffuser because all you smell is basically everybody's warmed lunch throughout the last couple of years. The other issue is, I understand that it's a small place, but the fact that every conversation was held at a normal conversation level instead of a lower or whispered tone was insane. Literally, I did a hour and a half, and somebody was talking the whole time even the person that was doing my massage was having a casual conversation with the person next to them. Every single door slammed, a person that worked there literally just kept answering their phone, which they didn't have on silent so every time he let it ring for long periods of time, we have to listen to that plus the conversation. I wouldn't go back just because a massage is supposed to be relaxing and that was probably the most relaxing massage I've ever had just because of the chaos and the smell which both of these things can be fixed read more

Positive: The location is so convenient and the massage therapist was very strong. Negatives: there are MANY. I have gotten many foot massages from different businesses and this place was shady. I called and asked if I could have appointment for 2 people getting a 60 minute foot massage at 4:30 and was assured yes. We were shown to the small public foot massage room which was very dark. The room fit 5 small foot massage beds and 1 was already occupied. Nearby were a couple of rooms with walls that didn't go to the ceiling for full body massage. We got settled on the beds soaking our feet and realized the man getting a full body massage on the other side was THEATRICALLY moaning and groaning and grunting extremely loudly and constantly--with every breath. I don't care how deep of a pressure a therapist is using--there's no reason for that kind of uncomfortably sexual vocalizations. The therapist honestly should have addressed it. Meanwhile I'm starting to get massaged but my friend is still lying there unattended. Then my therapist whispers "20 minutes" to my friend. So they're 20 minutes behind and didn't tell us, despite having appointments? Then it's nearly 5pm (half hour into the start time) and she whispers "5 more minutes." Well no one was able to start on my friend until moaning man finally left and that therapist took a break (after conspicuously coughing and hocking several loogies in the side room??). Her service started probably 45 minutes later than it was scheduled to. I was flipped to lie on my stomach and the therapist massaged my back and glutes through my tshirt and shorts, as is standard procedure for every foot massage I've ever gotten. But then without warning she yanked down my shorts and underwear until a full butt crack was out, Then she yanked at my bra and my tshirt until it was hiked all the way up to my neck and my backside was bare. Remember that this is in a public room that now two more people have joined and there are no partitions between each massage bed. What the hell?? This was also done to my friend. Next issue: I went out to pay (45 minutes ahead of my friend) and discovered their website advertises one price for a 60 minute massage but in the store they list a higher price. I show them their own website and they shake their head and insist that it's wrong. Well I can tell it's wrong, but they need to change the website so it's not falsely advertising the price. I brought cash, but only had exactly the advertised service price plus a 20% tip based on that price. I showed my empty wallet and explained that's all I had. The person I was speaking with told me the therapist would be mad at anything less than a 25% tip on the in-business price and that I needed to do a card so I could pay a better tip. When I pointed out they didn't tell us they were busy and now our night is all messed up timing wise, they didn't care and just stated that they're very busy. Okay, then tell us when we get there that there's a delay. I did not use my card and I will never be going back. TO BE CLEAR: the amount of money I gave them still covered the in-store price they were demanding, plus extra (just not the 25%+ tip they wanted). Edit: I had to leave early to go walk around a nearby store and wait for my friend to finish. Apparently they cut off my friend's massage at 45 minutes because they were mad at ME because I didn't leave a 25-30% tip, walked her to the checkout desk, and wouldn't let her leave until they counted her money (which they unrightfully charged full price for when they stole 15 minutes of the service from her). I wanted this place to be my new go-to and a hidden gem, but the staff are petty, the massages are uncomfortable, and the business practices are not ethical. I did not short them on the service and still gave all the tip money I had despite the negative experience. read more

I purchased two gift certificates for my non-English speaking friends. Gave them $20 cash ($10 each) to tip. My friends were pressured to give them $20 each. After reading the Google reviews, this seems to happen often-pressuring customers to give $20 cash tip. I was extremely disappointed as I honor this business a lot! After calling and complaining, they gave me back the $20 cash. read more

Jack is awesome, He really focus where you point and where hurts, He massage till the nods are gone also if you ask him to do it hard or soft he really tried to take care of you. They did an awesome job. They have a few private rooms and a room that has 4 beds in it. It''s pretty dark in there, so a little privacy. My Mom & I did the 1 hr combo which included the foot & body massage and that was great! It's nice to get massage once in awhile professionally. They know how to work all the muscles and you feel refresh and relax after! Price is reasonable. Ant wait to go back! read more

I only give 5 stars for the masseuse named Jack... I got another massage recently from another male at Happy Feet and he gave me bruises and didn't seem to know what he was doing at all. I said Ow a lot and finally yelled too hard! He continued to wrench his elbow into my spine until the manager told him in Chinese through the paper thin walls that he needs to let up! He was awkward and seemed to be untrained. I still am sore 3 days later. 1 star for him. Fyi I'm pretty sure no one is a licensed massage therapist here, and thats why their prices are so cheap. So be careful who you choose! That said, Jack is one of the best I've ever had and thats saying a lot. I'm an athlete, so really need my tight muscles relaxed. Give him 60 minutes, you won't regret it on the body massage. Foot massage is just ok. I will wait until he comes back. read more

They have been fantastic. Love my foot reflexology. I have seen a few people and everyone did a good job. Lots of parking. Easy to find.

Happy Foot Massage - Massage Near Me - Covington, Washington

I have been going here for a couple years. They used to be good and kind. Lately it has been unclean, the guy is constantly coughing and blowing snot, and listening to things very loudly. The massages are hit and miss depending on who you get. Today was the final straw. She did not speak English at all (I don't mind) but did not understand too soft, harder please, or OW when she pinched me to the table. The hot rocks were cold but she still used them without getting hot ones. The tv was very loud and unrelaxing. Due to this whole I tipped, I tipped ten percent. She had an absolutely stomp her feet (literally) and hit the paper fit. She wrote $30 in a paper and pointed to it and pointed to my receipt. I'll tell you what, I wanted to change it to zero! Those who I've loved before have long gone. Their prices have doubled and the quality has gone down. Today was definitely my last visit. Oh they also do not change the sheets!!! read more

Bulang did a great job! Would highly recommend him to anyone. He made sure pressure was enough which I appreciate. Also very respectful considering I'm a woman! I prefer Asian places because they are typically more affordable and get a bang for your buck! read more

Overpriced but worth the money if you do it only once in a while. I usually go for one-hour or 90-min combo or foot massages. I call in advance and schedule an appointment, and can usually be seen same-day without issue. Since I've been I've only had male masseuses and they default to hard/strong pressure which is what I come for, but they're always checking in to see if the pressure is ok and not too hard. Afterward I feel so refreshed and my body feels fantastic! The bathroom could be cleaner; it shares a space with the washer and dryer. They prefer cash but we always use card and usually tip with card and it hasn't been an issue. Tip generously - the masseuses work hard and do a good job! read more

This place has really gone down hill. Smells like cigarette smoke. The people there always arguing. Today I was told 130 and so waited until then then told to call because no appointment. Massages have gotten to be sub par but add in everything else and it just isn't worth it anymore. read more

I got the 60 minute foot massage. The masseuse was an attractive Asian woman. She had strong hands and was very good at her job. A few times was a little too firm, but adjusted the pressure to suit my tolerance. I would recommend this business. read more

Been here multiple times over the past few years because it's close to my house and they do walkins. The skill just isn't there though. The massage is not from a trained professional. They are good people and I think it's a family business, and I respect that. But they past few massages I've had are bad and could easily be better by watching a few videos on how to give a massage. read more

Will never go back and would not recommend. Did not feel safe. Place not clean. A lot of coughing. The man was asking for a $10 tip in exchange for a punch card. he kept on trying to upgrade. I did not feel relaxed after but felt ashamed for putting myself in that situation. read more

Happy Foot Massage - Updated pricing - Massage Near Me - Covington, Washington

I normally go here to get a reflexology body massage. The first 3 that I experienced was performed by their male masseuse and I was satisfied lol especially when it cost $60 +25% tip. But the last time I got my reflexology massage it was given by their female masseuse and even though she tried, it just wasn't deep tissue enough. It felt just like a regular massage and I think she gave me whatever she had that day because she sneezed a few times and blew her nose and she didn't even go out to wash her hands. She just went right back massaging me. ‍ read more

Just got the combo body and foot massage and it was amazing! I'll be going back on a regular basis for sure.

Very relaxing and at the same time rejuvenating. Would recommend with warnings... not in a private room

This place is LEGIT!!! For my $25 "foot" massage, I got a 60 minute full body and that is the norm. I wasn't treated any different because of my rugged good looks. But seriously, they take their time on your neck, ears, face, scalp, arms, fingers, legs, spine, feet and hips. This is not for the faint of heart as some massaging really digs into the deep tissue and can cause some pain but it's a good pain!! I felt like I was beat up today but in a good way. It's hard-core reflexology. They aren't especially sweet and gentle and their bed-side manner is lacking but I believe it's just their culture. We are different in our mannerisms so if you can get past the fact that they don't communicate well and don't fill the place with incense and petals, this massage is hands-down the best massage I've ever had. I mean....PEOPLE!!! - This place is the real deal!! A few tips: **Don't wear makeup as they give you a face massage and all massage is done with oils. **Don't wear restrictive clothing since they do run on your shoulders and legs and you don't want clothing hindering their ability to touch. **They do expect a tip so be prepared for that and their credit card machine isn't reliable so bring cash. **You can request a female masseuse if you are more comfortable with that. They are used to that. **I was a walk in but feel free to schedule an appointment to be sure you can get a spot. **If they are pushing too hard, don't be afraid to say so. Things to expect: **You stay fully clothed. **They put a heavy blanket over you which helps with feeling vulnerable and cold. **They don't talk to you but they do occasionally talk to each other so don't expect a completely silent atmosphere. **I was put next to another gal in the same room which didn't bother me but don't expect a private room unless you upgrade your service. **They do soak your feet in warm water prior to the massage. read more

This place was a joke. No privacy whatsoever... It's hard to relax when your in a room with other random strangers getting a massage. The person that was working on my boyfriend started late then kept walking in an out. Of course I finished a little earlier but was expecting to wait like 10 min for him but they finished like 2 min after I did. After tipping them 10%, because they wanted to charge full price for a massage that wasn't an hour, as I was leaving out the door they were calling me over asking what I tipped them and I told them and they kept asking me for more. That's completely unacceptable you get what you give. The massage wasn't even good they were just massaging over my clothes. Will never go back! read more

My first experience there was good but when I went back it was terrible! I called ahead to request an appointment with the same gal I had the first time. He said yes, she is in today and your appt is set. NOPE! they did a bait and switch. It was so bad that I did not leave a tip. The man who runs the place. pretends to not understand english when it suits him. He demanded a tip (?!) I will never return. Shady. read more

The service was great for the price. The one star is for the rude employees. As I was leaving the person who did my massage and a coworker stood by the door in an attempt to strong arm me for money. I gave the guy a $5 tip. They both immediately started shouting at me 10! 10! I should've given him nothing but I gave him the 5 and walked out. Never again read more

Terrible experience! The place felt dirty. The guy doing my massage was cough during the session not covering his mouth. There was another person that worked here that was in the back hacking up gross stuff from the sounds of it. One of the ladies that worked there walked by multiple times and she was wearing flip flops, made for a noisy massage. When I was paying to and handed a $10 tip, I was asked by the man that did my massage for a $20 tip instead. What the... last time I checked it was up to the customer, to tip or not and how much! Bad Business! read more

Just got a $25 hour foot massage. It certainly looks like a happy ending massage place from the outside but I truly don't believe it is. Loved the ambience, sound, smells and just the overall vibe it emulated, I was so relaxed the whole time. A male gave me the massage, started on my face and neck for 15min then to each foot and lower leg for 20min each. It wasn't too strong or aggressive but his English was decent, at least could understand me. Overall I really enjoyed it and will definitely be back for the 30min foot/30min back massage combo for $40, great deal! With tip, $45. The reason for 4 stars is simple, and the main complaint of the other negative reviews. They are HOUNDS when it comes to tipping, they try to make you feel bad and can be super aggressive about it. It didn't happen too bad at this location because I left $5, 20%. But I expect it to happen when I get a longer massage. At other places they say, owner take all that, I no make anything, I need tip. Again that didn't happen to me here that bad but still assume it will like the other reviews say. Owner/manager. Look how many customers you've lost because your employees are extremely aggressive about demanding a tip. Yes your massages are cheaper but it's still a lot of money to most people. If you don't want to continue losing customers you must make a change. Sure they can request a tip in a nice way, but not continue begging for more if they don't feel it was enough, that's their opinion. You either need to pay them more or increase the price by 10-20% and make it clear, TIP INCLUDED IN PRICE, that's your easiest solution. Yes I will be back because I enjoyed the massage and don't care how angry or aggressive an employee gets with me, the tip I'm leaving is what I'm leaving and that's that. Either take it or lose me as a customer too. read more

Do not go here. It felt unclean, I felt they were highly unprofessional and made you feel violated, it was a very uncomfortable experience as they exposed your body in very unnecessary ways. I have had massages other places, and there is a significant difference in standards. This place made you feel physically violated. read more

The person giving me a massage must've just had a cigarette, the smell of cigarettes was so strong. He must not have washed his hands before starting the massage. Also during the massage he burped very loudly four times. I stated that he was hurting me several times and said ow. I think he had his elbow right on my spine and my bones. He didn't understand that he was hurting me. I was very tempted to get up and leave, but was too embarrassed to do so. I went there to let my husband have a foot massage and relax. He said that his foot massage was relaxing, but said his person got up and left in the middle of the massage. And when he Looked up, it was a totally different person. The place was very loud. And the bathroom not clean. I am questioning now if they are truly licensed. Update 8/1/18 Well my husband and I went back again to give it another try. I had injured my back earlier in the week. I had the same therapist I had a year ago. I tried to tell him I was hurting and showed him where it hurt. He seemed to understand what I was saying. He gave a great foot massage. 4 stars. The face massage was very relaxing. The body massage was 3.5 stars with the exception of my quads. That was uncomfortable, both physically and being in my personal space. When massaging my back where it was hurting he was not as gentle as I had hoped. I tried to say something but he didn't understand. My technician had just smoked a cigarette and had not washed his hands. It seems to be common with the male employees. My husband said his technician had a very light touch. He felt relaxed but didn't feel like it was very therapeutic. I noticed his technician was the one burping this time. We think it may be an acceptable part of their culture, so I will not mark that down in the future. It's just not a Massage custom we are used to. I will try it again. I will change my overall review to 2-1/2-3 stars. We have been to the happy feet in Federal way and do like the experience and professionalism we received there better. read more

We just visited again this week, and my husband and I both agree that there isn't a bad massage here, ever. I'm certain that this massage saved my life again from stress and depression from pain. This place used to be four stars in my book, but after today's visit I would hesitate to recommend this place anymore. My massage today was good but there was a completely new crew and they did not understand that people coming to get a massage want to RELAX. The chatter among the masseuses was unprofessional. As soon as my masseuse stopped talking to her neighbor, it seemed like someone across the room would start talking and the chatter was never ending. Management, please re-train and discuss the importance of peace and quiet. read more
